Outstanding service and excellent food. The staff truly make this an outstanding dining experience.
GREAT WAITSTAFF....2 DIFFERENT MEALS, EACH LACKLUSTER
The Hyatt Harborside Grill treated us royally. It was our 29th anniversary.
Thank you to the chef and staff.
Good food and great service.
We'll be back.
We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated right away. The server came over shortly thereafter and arrived with coffee, but it took quite a while for the tea to arrive.
The food at the buffet was typical of a breakfast buffet; however, not very hot. The strawberry jelly was delicious as was the bacon.
We ordered omelets, pancakes, French toast and waffles. It was all good. That said, I expected some additional offerings.
Regardless, the best thing is the view.
Had a great view of the skyline of Boston while eating.
Good bye dinner with my daughter, the night before she moves to Argentina. The ambiance, service, food- everything was lovely
Our food was cold and we had to send it back. It was cold the second time too, but we just ate it anyway because we felt bad for the server.
Gorgeous setting and nice dining area. Very poor service including having to ask three times for a drink to start the meal and getting my soup after my entree. Best view of Boston in the area though, and parking was validated.
Fantastic meal overall ... between the three of us we ate the cod, salmon and scallops - hard to pick which meal as best. Service was just as good, Laura Donovan was our server and was top class. Would definitely recommend it.
Only issue is that it was way too cold. Made it uncomfortable for lunch.
I booked this reservation for a birthday lunch for my sister and family. We had an awesome server who took good care of us and a great outside table. Some of us had the buffet and ordered french toast and waffles. The only negative of the whole experience was that they were getting cold when delivered.
I would definitely come there again. You have a great location and setup for a memorable dining experience. We enjoyed walking out to Jeffries Point after lunch.
The hostess did not know if they could take our reservation even though it was confirmed. Then she sat us. Then the table and menus were sticky and seating was low and table was high. Busy and noisy and some party in ballroom that spilled over. If there were other restaurants close we would have went.
We stopped by after flying in to Logan before driving to Maine. We loved our experience outside on the waterfront. Isa, our server, did an absolutely excellent job and if you go, don't miss the fries...some of the best we've ever had!
We returned to the Hyatt for dinner and drinks as a yearly tradition because we love the beautiful view and atmosphere. Much to our disappointment, the hostess was unfriendly and acted rudely inconvenienced to check for any patio availability, despite having a reservation. After being seated, we quickly realized that our waitress was also notably unfriendly and would ask a question and walk away before we had the chance to say "yes we're ready to order". Overall, the view is worth a return trip but I cannot say many good things about the service.
The most beautiful view of Boston. Good to die for and service that was amazing. Thank you Hyatt for treating a few Jersey natives to a wonderful evening!
It took 45 minutes for a burger order to be ready.
We had a beautiful evening celebrating my niece's birthday. It was highlighted by the Fireworks show we were able to enjoy! The waitress was very good, however, it seemed to take a long time for our dinner to arrive, which consisted of two salads, cheeseburger and chicken. Also, there appeared to be some confusion when we checked in with the Hostess with a reservation as to whether there was any seating available for us. All in all, we had a wonderful evening.
Although the three friends who were supposed to join me never showed up, the servers were outstanding and couldn't have been nicer or more sympathetic. The food was good, the internet connection was good and there were FIREWORKS, courtesy of the Boston Harbor Association, that evening.
Go for the view of Boston, but try the seafood. The chef knows how to correctly prepare seafood--the fish & chips, scallops and halibut were all great. And dine while watching the sun set over Boston..
We had a great dinner overlooking the Boston Harbor. Watching the sun go down and the lights of Boston turn on was amazing.
Our breakfast was exceptional with great service. The freshes fruit and incredible buffet.
We were on time for our reservation and given the choice of a fire pit table or a high top. We chose the fire pit. A comfortable couch in front of a fire with the Boston harbor in front of us. Does it get any better? Our waiter was great. The food was good. Very nice drink list. We were there for 2 hours and never rushed out. We are looking forward to doing it Shaun
This dinner was a special occasion because my family was in town visiting. We chose it for the ambiance and view of the water and city lights, but also wanted to treat them to good seafood. The menu was extremely small, none of the appetizers were large enough to share (and were pretty pricey), and the food was flavorless. We noticed the menu said they try to practice portion control and stick to daily calorie values, so perhaps they cut down on sodium and spices but we all ordered different things and no one was wow-ed... the waiter barely came by, we had empty water glasses half of the meal, no silverware sets for so long we had to eat with our hands for a while, and the area was basically empty. Not enough tables were filled to be ignored like that. Not pleased. Will not be back unless maybe for drinks only.
OMG, What a gem of a restaurant! It was my mother-in-law's birthday and we wanted to find a scenic restaurant to eat seafood and this restaurant had exactly what we wanted! We brought our 2 year old son and we were pleased as how kid friendly the restaurant was. The food was delicious and the view of Boston was absolutely spectacular! We are definitely returning!!
We went there for there special toco night. There food was very good and the view was even better
We truly enjoyed our brunch and cannot wait to have our wedding here in the summer of 2019! Great service and great food. I have been dreaming of the food since then and want to go back.
Good for a drink and appetizers because of the view.
Everything was fine with the exception of the delay in getting the meal. We waited over 30 minutes with an empty restaurant to get our food. If you're trying to catch a plane, do not eat here.
Fabulous View from across the harbor!
If you're looking for a different view of Boston, check this place out! It's spectacular!
It's a lovely restaurant with indoor or outside seating. Fun cocktails - my Blue Harbor, blueberry vodka and lemonade hit the spot on a hot day. I tried the Seared George's Bank Scallops with fruit de mar risotto, tomato fennel broth with mussels. It was out of this world delish! As was the Clam Chowder.
Service was attentive and friendly. They did not rush or intrude at all. The prices are conducive to any Boston restaurant and they have validated $5 parking in a huge lot. A definite place to take family, friends or visitors.
Limited menu, server could hardly speak English, that aside, a very enjoyable evening
Not enoug selections on the menu
Prices with more varity selections and be balanced better. But overall the view is amazing..
Look forward to coming again..I may want to host my children a birthday
Thank you again
You need to sit outside ....what a beautiful view but if the sun is setting they close the shades inside and the view of the harbor is lost😡
Party of four for wedding anniversary. High price, regular food. The view of Boston Harbor is nice.
Frontrow seat for harborwatching at Sail Boston 2017. Friendly, festive, informal setting; attentive servers, tasty modern cuisine costing less than expected.
Our server was very sweet and helpful. We love this spot for a date night or even brunch. Best view of Boston.
Reserved a fire pit table. Was not available due to private function. Hotel was incredibly busy and understaffed for volume of customers. High priced.
I made a reservation for lunch and to see the Tall Ships. I wasn't told that they would have a brunch menu instead of lunch & didn't indicate this on open table. It was a beautiful viewing spot! My lobster roll was average at best - was not on a brioche roll, as indicated on the menu - was a hot dog roll. I asked for dressing on the side and my salad cane dressed - OVER dressed. Our server was very good (checked on us twice while we were eating) then after we ordered dessert she disappeared. It took 20 min to get the gelato we ordered and it was terrible! Freezer burnt! Didn't taste fresh. I told her that but she didn't seem to care.
Would return for the view and a drink but not for a meal.
Our waitress was Lady and she was the best. Always had a smile and was more than happy to accommodate any request. The food was good and Lady made our dining over the top.
The view was spectacular, the service was great and the food was good. The big let down was that I reserved a table with a fire pit and the tank ran out of propane. That was disappointing and unacceptable.
The view was amazing, even on a chilly rainy day. It was a little pricey, but worth it for the view. Good tap and bottled beer options, and the cheese plate was solid (chutney with Brie, blue cheese with honey, and a champagne cheese with spicy mustard). If your flight is delayed, or if you want to wait until traffic passes, this is an excellent place to relax a few hours. And parking is validated!
