Private Party Facilities: The Harbor room can hold up to 100 people and is available for weddings, parties, corporate dinners etc. The Captains Room is very private and is located in our exclusive wine room. It hold ups to 18 people. The terrace room can be closed off and is available for private parties up to 35 with an amazing ocean view.
We have many areas that are conducive to private parties.

We have gone here for many years, and this was most disappointing! The lobster special was tough, and the service was the worst we have encountered in the last 40 years! We were at the big ship table at 6 pm. Our waiter took the order, but then left for an hour, and the food arrived in shifts afte that. The lobster was over cooked and tough, and the vegetables were cold. The waiter never returned to check on us for the next hour, so we had to find a staff member to go get him for our check, All six of us are locals who know this restaurant well, and I don’t think any of us will be back. It was such a disappointment because the Harbor has been a place for special dinners and celebrations for us!
We had a lovely, relaxing evening with fantastic ocean views. It was a belated birthday celebration with an out of town guest.
Our reservation request for window seating was accommodated.
The 3 of us had the Lobster Dinner Special. We all enjoyed. Everything was cooked to perfection. Delicious al dente broccoli. Nice wine list, reasonable prices.
Our server, Jennifer, was excellent and very friendly. Great service but not hovering. David Siordia is always welcoming and pleasant. Always makes sure we we happy with our dining experience.
Our out of town guests can't believe the beauty of Santa Barbara and the fantastic location and food of the Harbor Restaurant reinforces that experience.
Definitely recommend their lobster special.
The Harbor was recommended to us during our honeymoon by a server at a restaurant i Los Angeles. The restaurant was, and I quote, "the best one in Santa Barbara". I am sorry to say that this meal was the worst during our honeymoon. The clam chowder was thick and lumpy, the tuna poké was missing its avokado which we received afterwards after pointing this out, and the lobster roll was plain boring. Would not recommend anyone a visit here.
The service was very pleasant, we felt welcomed and cared for. We had reservation and had very nice table by the window with great view. The food was excellent, decided to go with lunch specials, which turned out to be a great choice for a good value. Presentation of the food & plate is a world class. Portions are large. I am sensitive to new spices & taste when eating out, but nothing bothered me here. I felt great after the meal. Will be back.
This restaurant has a wonderful position and view of the harbour. High prices match the location and service appeared to be mostly to tourists. The service was prompt and polite and the food was of good quality with generous portion sizes. The Restaurant needs an update it's rather old fashioned inside and in places showing signs of wear and tear.
This is an old, established restaurant on the pier. With that said, it is a bit quieter. Our waiter was very attentive and helped us with our drink order and menu. We had sea bass and it was fantastic! The apple pie dessert was a mini pie! Would definitely return.
Drove from Santa Monica for a lovely evening in Santa Barbara. Could not have been more disappointed in the food and drink. Ordered a Mojito and they use sugar cubes and not simple sugar and the guacamole was flavorless. No complaints with the ahi but when I asked if they had ceviche of any sort was told they have guacamole chips and salsa which is a similar substitute (really?). Will not return to this restaurant but they do offer a beautiful scenic view of the ocean.
Great time celebrating my wifes graduation from UCSB 48 years after the fact.!! Wonderful having whole family ,kids ,daughter in laws,grandkids present for a special event. My wife and I came here on special dates when she was a student at UCSB in the 60's.
Ocean views. Bomb food. Amazing place in Santa Barbara with amazing views! Loved every minute there. Our server was on point! We watched the sunset and boats coming into to the harbor. Very special restaurant. If you are in Santa Barbara it's a must to dine here!
I chose the Harbor as the location to meet a friend from Los Angeles because of the spectacular view and traditionally good food and service. It was a holiday weekend and more crowded than usual. We both were grateful for the valet! The food was very good (salmon salad, nicoise salad) as was the service. We were there for two and a half hours catching up and there was NO pressure to leave. That, to me, is one sign of a good establishment that cares about its customers rather than turnover/$$. I truly appreciate having this restaurant as a local resource.
It was my first time in Santa Barbara and the first time here at the restaurant and for the most part is was really good. However, I had the stuffed chicken breast and overall the plate was delicious but the chicken was bland and rubbery, that is why I gave this place a little less praise that what I would have liked. I understand it is a seafood place. However, a good/great chef should be able to make everything taste great.
