Harbor House Ratings and Reviews
First time Harbor House brunchers. Will definitely return. Krystal (spelling?) was really great and accommodating. Made celebrating my birthday with friends a great time. Highly recommend the farther back room (it's quieter, and out of the way of the busy brunch crowds). Food did not disappoint! Thank you, team Harbor House.
My husband and I went for his birthday and we absolutely loved Harbor House. It was very romantic and the food was fantastic from start to finish. We started with a wedge salad and both enjoyed our filet mignon. Mikes lobster was broiled perfection and my king crab claw was moist and sweet. We also loved our drinks, The Amelia and an old-fashioned. The wine list is well developed, too! We will absolutely go back!
From the minute we walked in, we felt welcome. Mary helped with coats and winter "stuff." Heidi, our server was fun, gracious and not overly solicitous, giving us just enough attention to make our delicious luncheon that much more enjoyable. The calamari was the best ever, and the scallops were perfectly prepared. We would not have changed a thing!
We had a lovely meal at Harbor House. The food was really terrific, and the service was just flawless. Mike did a fantastic job. My husband left his cell phone on the table, and even though they closed at 10, they waited for him to come back and get it about 20 after the hour. Thanks to Christian for that.
We had a lovely birthday meal prior to a show at the Pabst Theater. Location was very nice, waterfront on a gorgeous day. Our waitress, Haley, was outstanding, professional yet sociable and witty. She gave great advice on oyster selections, meals. Danny, the bartender, gave great wine advice and also prodded the not so attentive hostess to get our table. The food was very delicious, had the scallops with butternut squash puree and Brussel sprouts. Others had the rainbow trout, which, although tasty, was not near as good as the scallops. The oysters were delicious and fresh. Coffee was great and we had key lime pie and crème brulee, both excellent.
We took our twins yo celebrate their birthday. The service was impeccable. The server was well educated on the menu items as well seafood in general. The NY strip was buttery sinfulness. the twins were presented desserts without the fuss which they much appreciated. It was gastronomic experience but not a regular date for the pocketbook.
Beautiful view. My daughter enjoyed her Salmon. My husbands said the chicken was dry on his Chicken Caesar Salad. The beet salad was very good.
Service...the waitress appeared annoyed that she was taking orders. We did don’t see her much after our order was taken. Even with reservations and almost empty restaurant we were sat in a middle row table across from the kitchen which was very noisy.
I had to get up to walk over and take the picture of the view, even though there were plenty of empty tables by the windows.
We we seated at the Chef’s Table.. it was A bit hot and noisy, but the complimentary appetizers made up for it. Two of us were vegetarian and the chef was quite accommodating considering it is a seafood restaurant. We will visit again, but request a regular table.
