Sunday: 10:00am - 8:00pm (Brunch served until 2:00pm)

Excellent brunch. The salmon eggs benedict is my favorite, and the crab legs were so good. The views of the lake are beautiful, and the service is great.
Harbor House is one of our two go-to restaurants for special occasions and celebrations. The views are wonderful, the staff helpful, attentive, and prompt, the food wonderfully prepared and plated, and the atmosphere lively but not loud. The emphasis is on seafood, but the steaks are well-prepared, and on our most recent visit the tables around us all had at least one steak order. We don't drink, but the wine and beer lists are extensive. A great place for a nice evening out or a special event.
We were placed in our table very fast which was very convenient since our party included a baby and a hungry 8 year old girl. As soon as we were sitting my wife ordered a salmon from the kids menu for my 8 year old daughter, which was ready fast enough. My daughter just finished it literally in 5 min (which is unusual for her).
Cocktails were very refreshing and not too alcohol heavy. I ordered a half dozen oysters from the pacific Washington state bay and were amazing. My mom who is an oyster fan just loved those. Our entrees were amazing. Noise level was kind of high but we had a nice time. Definitely the best seafood place in Milwaukee with better service and quality compared to several places down in Chicago. This place is a gem!
Excellent food with a beautiful view. Service was great.
We love Harbor House! Love it in summer on the patio, love it for Happy Hour at the bar, love it for any meal, any season. WE go there to eat when we've been or are going to the Art Museum. It's such a beautiful location, and has a great menu from fancy fish and meat to burgers and vegetarian. 2 servers kept our drinks filled without us asking, did not hurry us despite it being a busy time, the food was great. Go there!
Our service was great as was the wine we ordered. We started with calamari which was excellent. I had the linguine and clams and it was difficult to eat and too much garlic. Overall my main courses I’ve had have been mediocre and not worth the price. I come a lot for work and live the views and outside patio. I wish the food was better
The food was spectacular, as always! I also indicated in my reservation that it was our first anniversary, so I requested a window table (which we received- thank you!). The servers were incredibly nice, however, the service was noticeably a little slow that evening. There were longer than usual gaps between getting our drinks, being asked how things tasted, etc. There was also a hair in my salad, which was of course - unusual, and handled very professionally and promptly. Considering the hair, the slower service, and the note in our reservation about our first anniversary, it would have been nice to have been greeted at the door with a "Happy Anniversary" or provided a complimentary dessert to share. Even without this, we still had a great evening, will definitely be back, and will recommend Harbor House to others.
Veal came out raw, they gave a 1/2 salad in between to accommodate until it was prepared correctly
We have been going to Harbor House for years. We always have great service and great food. Sunday brunch is a favorite
We really enjoyed the wide variety of food choices for the Sunday brunch. It was hard to limit ourselves when it was so beautifully displayed. Loved bite size desserts to encourage trying many things. Restful view of the lake helped us to relax. Good service and great location
Excellent food and service that has been very consistent.
Service was outstanding - servers were very attentive and friendly
Had an amazing experience with family. This place is the real deal.
I've noticed that the Bartolotta's group of restaurants has had a bit of a slip with regard to food taste and quality. Premium pricing requires premium food. Service is still tip top.
We started with the calamari and shrimp cocktail (standard fare). On to the wedge salad-I counted 3 pieces of bacon. my entree was the linguine and clams. well cooked pasta, nice flavor, rubbery, overcooked clams. Others in the party had the filet mignon (typical), scallops (better than average). Over the counter carrot cake and key lime pie for dessert.
5 people, apps, entree, salads, dessert and coffee, wine and beer (4 glasses total) $460.00 including tip. I'll give any of the Bartollotta restaurants another try because of past meals, but it's been awhile since I've been wowed by any of their meals.
we love it here but the tables are getting very close and very noisy...we will still come...could use a few more entrees that are not seafood...
My husband was disappointed that you ran out of the special that evening.
It was nice to receive dessert on the house!!
We visited tonight for our anniversary and was disappointed in the reservation and hostess service. We asked for a window seat and wasn’t offered one, although there were multiple tables available. Also got home to find out that our reserve wasn’t eligible for points. What? What not? Never had that happen before. The food was very good and so was the table service.
Absolutely fantastic every single time! The food is second to none, the service is outstanding, and the view is breathtaking.
Always an outstanding experience. One of my faves when in MKE. Best restaurant in the city and the lake view is the icing on the cake...even on a cloudy day!
Beautiful setting. A little pricey. Service was slow, not the fault of the server. She was assigned too many tables to adequately serve. Food was good with a nice selection.
It took 10 minutes for our waitress to acknowledge we were seated at our table. The restaurant was only 50%full. At one point she took our silverware leaving us nothing to finish our meal. It was brunch and we were not done eating. While the service left a lot to be desired , the seafood options were great. Prime rib was chewy and over cooked. If you stick to seafood offerings and have good waitstaff, it’s worth the price.
Great food and service. My only complaint, there should be two chefs preparing made to order eggs. The line got a bit long.
Overall it was a good experience, but for the money you pay, I want great! The seating bothered me. They have a row of seats next to the window for two and then a row next to them for two as well. There is additional seating after these two rows more towards the interior of the restaurant. Problem is that they are so interested in getting as many tables in there as they can that the wait staff needed to bump into my seat every time they went to serve the table next to me. Annoying? Terribly. Food was good, drinks were a little pricey, service was good.
Ambiance was amazing and service very good. The crab cakes appetizer was amazing and the salad creative and very good. I ordered the swordfish. The puree under the fish and brussel sprouts were really good, but the fish was a little overcooked. Great wine selections. Had the fish been cooked less, it would have been five stars.
Everything was perfect, except it's window seating is cool (chilly).
Great place to bring out of towners! Beautiful view. Bring lots of $$
Our evening at Harbor House was outstanding! The steak was the best we have eaten in a long time! The hot bread was amazing! The "lake effect" of gazing out on Lake Michigan while we di ed was very calming. We will definitely go there again!
Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Great view of Lake Michigan. Every table has a view of the Lake.
I mostly eat here in the summer when one can eat right out on Lake Michigan. We decided to go for lunch on a blustery, cloudy day in the fall. We ate in the back of the restaurant overlooking the harbor and the breakwater and what a magnificent setting. I ordered the lunch special, clam chowder and Cesar salad with shrimp. Both were ample and tasteful portions. The dessert was three scoops of delicious sherbert that was shared. My husband ordered seafood bisque and a burger for the main. The bisque was quite good and the burger was large and tasty. I was most impressed with the luncheon menu and tastes. A really good choice. Suggestion: Visit the museum and have lunch at Harbor House. A great way to spend the afternoon.
What a special place, right on Lake Michigan- just beautiful. Wonderful service & delicious food.
Thanks for a special lunch, my wife & I can’t say enough!
Haley was awesome and the food was great! The ambiance was delightful and we had a great view.
Awesome service and food
Diana made our whole experience outstanding. thank you, Diana!
I have eaten at Harbor House on several occasions and have always been more than pleased. You get a view of the harbor, the art museum, and downtown Milwaukee from anywhere in the restaurant. The food is always great and the service exceptional. A great place to get together with friends and family or even for a date.
We love Harbor House for its romantic feel, great service and the best Oysters we have found! Highly recommend, great prices for the exceptional food!
Food was average, expected more for the price. Also sat awhile with empty drinks and water glasses
Our server was Clarissa and she was fantastic.
We’ve been there several times. Great food and ambiance. Clarissa, our server was awesome.
Service was excellent! Main entre delicious. Soup and appetizer disappointing. Ambiance was good, except for noise level (too loud) which takes away from special occasions. Tables very small and seating too cramped. Multiple times our seats were bumped by serving staff and other guests even though our chairs were close to our table. Our waitresses are what made this visit outstanding!
The food was delicious as always and the service is always top notch! The restaurant never fails to impress; atmosphere, food, service and location. An excellent choice for a business meal and many more occasions!
