   We tried this after reviews on Open Table. We can't say this was our favorite Korean BBQ. But we also tried a dish we weren't familiar with. We still prefer the place in Japan Town best. The gentleman who waited on us was very attentive and gracious. So the service end of things is not bad at all.

   The best kalbi ever!!! Side dishes are always fresh and homemade. This is our go to Korean restaurant in Sam Francisco. Delicious solid food every time.

   We had a great time and the service was excellent. Our reservation was honored right away and tea was poured as soon as we sat down. Prices were higher than expected so we toned it town, but this did not stop us from having fun and really enjoying ourselves. We loved cooking our meats and all the tastes they bring out to have with them were fantastic. Will definitely go back.

   I have fined here a few times before but only for dinner. This was my first lunch experience. It was different. Very toned down from the dinner scene. Lunch menu is abridged to two pages vs full Menu at dinner. Bento lunch box is easy to order and includes two ban chan sides with the meal. but I do miss the vast variety that I am used to during dinner time.

   This is my second time here. The food is good, but the place is very strange. Not aesthetic at all. And, food is expensive. The back room has the BBQ grills and that room is stark and not very clean looking. For the price, one would expect more.

   The BEST kalbi ever!!!!!! Best meats to grill so fresh and flavorful. Homemade fresh banchan, no MSG so very light on the seasoning and you're not drinking a gallon of water after dinner. Soft tofu soup and seafood pancake is amazing and the service is great!! Good old mom and pop Shop serving awesome food!!

   The service is fine, not spectacular. The food was fine, not spectacular. The staff is nice, not spectacular. This place is outrageously expensive for Korean BBQ. More than the listed $$. I'm sorry to write this in a review, but unfortunate they won't be getting my business again.

   The food here is fantastic, a little pricey, but delicious. We ordered the bimbibap, the pork belly and the rib eye. Loved the wasabi turnip to wrap the pork belly! As we were the only ones in the restaurant, the service was very attentive. We also ordered the cucumber soju, and loved it. Will be back!

    First, I should point out that I'm not Korean nor am I an avid fan of Korean food, so perhaps people who are more familiar with the cuisine may have a different opinion than me. That said, I have had Korean food two or three dozen times, including meals during a three day trip to Seoul, South Korea so at least I have some basis for comparison. In terms of appearance, the owner clearly made an effort to create an attractive and appropriate aesthetic, yet I would say that it was still a bit sterile and was disrupted by an out-of-place espresso bar at the front of the restaurant as well as some clutter in that area. We were greeted by a man who I would guess is the owner. He was polite but not initially very friendly until we started asking questions which indicated that we didn't know a lot about the cuisine but wanted to learn, and at that point, he seemed to open up and be a lot friendlier. The menu offered a wide variety of seemingly very authentic dishes and we had a relatively diverse sampling of them. It ranged from very good to fairly bland, but in general, I would say that it was good but not great, although it did seem to be more authentic than most Korean food that I've had...more like what I experienced in Seoul. I suppose the biggest disappointment for me was the value for the money. While it ranked near the top of my experiences having Korean food, it was by far the most expensive. So I suppose at that price, I was expecting more than I got. That's not to say that it was expensive when compared with fashionable "foodie" restaurants in the San Francisco area. By that measure, it was fairly typical or even a bit below average, but when compared with other Korean restaurants, it was quite expensive.
