Food and wait staff were great! We went to a play at UNT and capped it off with dinner at Hannah's. Thank you!
Amazing as always!
Hannah's on the square is not a great restaurant, it's a lot of hype for a mediocre place. The service is not good at all. The food was decent but really overpriced and not worth it. I will never go back or recommend it.
Food and service were very, very good, but the kitchen was SO slow - over 30 min for lunch was too long. We watched other tables get bread and butter and asked for some finally. Interestingly, the table next to us had bread/butter and their meal, but after they ate half of their meal, the server came by and said she needed to take their bread/butter back. The 2 ladies said "what was that about?". Kind of strange. Food is always great here, but they'll need to be more efficient. We were there weekday lunch - approximately 1 pm and only 7 tables had guests. (during our first visit we ordered dessert and it took 25 min to arrive (carrot cake and key lime pie). It had to be in the back ready to be served. Too expensive to wait that long for dessert. This was our 4th visit and we'll be back - I'm sure they'll get the timing issues under control. I would hate for that to dissuade people from trying their great food.
Lobster roll was terrific. We are from New England so we know a good lobster roll when we see and taste it. Great birthday lunch.
The server was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu, I wish I could remember his name. I just know he was tall and skinny. The food was delicious. I had a wedge salad, which I didn’t think would be too extravagant but the taste was absolutely amazing. Our food came to us in no time at all. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others!
Service was excellent. We were a table of 6 so each ordered something different and all were very good. Priced very appropriate to the quality and portions.
Food is always tasty. Service is great. Atmosphere is really nice. It’s a great place for a date or a meeting!
Denton is college town with MANY restaurants. Sadly, though, we have a serious dearth of fine dining options. Hannah's is a shining light in the wilderness. Always a pleasant experience! Excellent wine-by-the-glass selection. The salmon cake appetizer was very good. The smoked duck entree was amazing.
Polite and courteous service. Waiter left my date and I uninterrupted, while also fulfilling all of our needs expediently. I fully recommend this restaurant in both food and service, and plan on dining here again :)
I loved my experience at Hannah's. The food is fresh and obtained locally. Therefore some of their menu items are only seasonal. So if one goes there when shaved cauliflower salad is on the menu, don't pass up ordering it. We also had the scallops with grilled brussels sprout leaves. I would eat this again and again. The ambiance, artwork and layout were exquisite. Our server was Creed who was appropriately attentive. We are looking forward to our next outing up in Denton.
Food was fantastic!! Bartender should work on martini. I ordered a tanquray martini that was lacking. Not cold or clear.
Our waiter Will was very good and passionate about what he does. The pimiento cheese is a hidden gem so ask about it. The tomatoe soup and beer salad as the best
Amazing food. Awesome service. A great experience!!
We love Hannah's. This time I had the chicken sandwich. It was so good. Love those homemade chips. Really wish I had gotten though, their special of the day which was blackened shrimp on a crescent roll. Husband had burger again & loved it. Not so crazy about a chicken veggie soup.
A business dinner while in the area. Service and food were excellent.
Food was innovative and delicious. I had the eggplant with crab meat as am appetizer and it was out of this world. Everyone at our table was very pleased. First time there and will definitely be back.
Wonderful food with a very nice ambiance. Servers were quick and attentive. Recommend Will as your potential waiter.
Outstanding food, impeccable service.
My husband & I were visiting our son & daughter in law & had dinner at Hannah’s to celebrate our son’s birthday. The food & service were excellent. I thought the wine prices were high although the wine we ordered was excellent. I would suggest adding one red wine around $50 instead of $75!
We have been there many times. Disappointed in the filet steak, the red fish was way over cooked and really not very mentionable. Desserts were okay but not outstanding. Beet salad was disappointing. We had a 7 pm reservation and did not leave until 9pm. I took an inordinate amount of time to get the main course.
The food was mediocre at best, my steak was under seasoned and over cooked while my wife’s food came out cold. We didn’t want to risk sending it back because we didn’t want to wait another hour after already having been at our table for two hours before our entrees even came out. Service was inattentive at best and painfully slow. We were nickel and dimed for extra bread (presented to us as if it was to make up for the long wait time). We were trying to give Hannah’s another shot but this puts us at two for two with bad experiences on special occasions.
We have been to Hannah's many times over the last several years. The food is always very good. However, the past few times we've visited; and especially Saturday night, we have not had a good experience. Saturday night, we had a drink at the bar before our reservation. The drinks were great but the bartenders were rude. That set us up for the hour long wait for two orders of fish. It shouldn't have taken that long to cook a medium rare tuna. Our server was training some other guy and neither one of them were especially attentive, even after I expressed my frustration on the wait. They later offered a free dessert but we didn't want to have to wait for it, not did we want dessert anyway.
Hopefully the next time we're there it will be different. But, the bartenders need an attitude adjustment and the kitchen has got to figure out how to get food out faster.
Food was very good. Waiter very knowledgeable. We were disappointed that the meatball appetizer was sold out but the shrimp and grits and eggplant Napoleon did not disappoint. The entrees were all generous portions and nicely served. We will be back.
Our waiter, Adam, was charming but inattentive. While we enjoy a paced meal, this was as if we were lost in the corner. The food was spectacular and proper temperature when delivered. Just felt a little neglected. It was a birthday celebration and other than when we checked in at the desk, no mention was made of the special occasion. We had to flag another wait staff to have him take our check and payment to complete the evening. We have dined here many times and were disappointed in the level of service.
As always Hannah's is fantastic. The service was excellent, food top notch and atmosphere is perfect. If you are looking for a great dinner, this is your spot.
Everything was wonderful!
Hannah's never disappoints. The food quality and variety are always spot on. The service was great, although they lost our appetizer order and it didn't come out until after the salads. But they did comp our appetizer and the manager came to apologize. It is a bit pricey, but I think the quality of the food makes up for it.
Will was our server and he did an outstanding job. Great personality and very attentive
First, I had a reservation and was unhappy when they seated us about 3 feet from a very loud, large group celebrating a birthday. There were about 4 tables empty on the other side of the room where we could have been seated. That being said, the service was very good and the food was delicious. I had lamb chops which were cooked to perfection and my husband had Osso Bucco which he very much enjoyed.
The interior was trendy but warm. The only suggestion I would have is they need some decent flatware! I think the flatware at Denny’s is nicer.
I celebrated my birthday there and the food was great and the service was wonderful. Definitely will go back and tell friends about it.
Fantastic food - very unique ambiance
One of the best dining experiences I have had in Denton. Everything was on point. Great food and service, excellent bartenders and drinks, and a cool space made for a memorable night. I will be back soon.
Food was good, portions where small, service was excellent. Price was about 20% more than it should have been.
The best food, service, and ambiance! If you want something authentic and original than
go here for their season menu!
Great date night place. Cozy atmosphere and scrumptious menu.
The atmosphere was nice, service was nice. But the food, while fine, was overpriced.
food had no seasoning. Not even the fries had any flavor.
What an outstanding evening. My wife and I celebrated Valentine Day early with dinner at Hannah's. The food was great and our waiter, Mulligan, was the best. Very knowledgeable about menu items and with his suggestions we had a remarkable evening. Thanks to all.
We felt the food was good, but not great. I realize this is a Denton mainstay but the prices for what came
