Obviously, we DID arrive for our reservation (even though Open Table sent me an email saying we had not shown up.) We certainly told the young lady at the desk we had a reservation since we were about 15 minutes early and she informed us we wouldn't be seated until our reservation time of 6:00. The door staff was pretty "terse". When we asked if we could just be seated...we'd be happy to wait for the server...she huffed and said "I'm trying to tell YOU, it's happy hour!" Well, I never did GET her point. Frankly, if it hadn't been an anniversary dinner, we would have left. That said, the food, the ambiance and the service was great.
Understaffed that night in the kitchen. Too many may guests I suppose. Slow delivery. Which is fine for a place that does not charge $100+ per person. But Hank's....Hank's needs to be on top of their staffing if they are to charge what they charge for a meal.
Service is outstanding the staff is all and more that you would expect from a five stare restaurant. We go to Hanks when ever we are in town and have never had a bad experience. The food is wonderful and that is truly the reason you revisit a food venue.

Service by Eric, Denise and Chris was outstanding. Steaks were good, not outstanding. Charred corn with cotija and chipotle was delicious. Best carrot cake ever. Only complaint was noise level. We wanted a quiet, romantic dinner and could not talk over the VERY loud band in the bar. Had to leave so we could hear each other
We visit Hank's restaurant on a regular basis throughout the year to celebrate all of our
special occasions. This was the first time we were a little disappointed. My fiance and I are in
our 60's. One of the side effects in the aging process is you can't eat as much as when
you were younger. We both sensed a feeling of disappointment in our waiter because
of our order. He offered us several of the chef specials however, we generally order the same order which is our favorites and what we can eat. We requested our waiter to split a Cesar salad. I ordered the crab legs, with a side of your cream corn and Don had the filet with an order of your mushrooms and a small bottle of wine. All of this with a piece of bread is more than what our stomachs can handle.
After the completion of our meal, we had to wait sometime for our bill. Then for the leftovers to be boxed. It appeared the tables with the larger orders (not amount of people) were receiving the attention.
The waiter finally asked if he could wrap up the leftovers. This is the first time the waiter did not box the leftovers at our table. He left with our plates and returned with a bag. We paid the bill (with a rather larger tip) and left. I was shocked upon returning home and in opening the bag to find the leftover crab, cream corn and the mushrooms combined in one box. What a mess, I ended up throwing the food away. It was impossible to make a meal out of the mixed contents in this box. I hope this is not a way Hank's has chosen to economize. The fact that in the past I found the food always boxed separately made it possible for another enjoyable meal.
We absolutely love this restaurant. It saddens us knowing we left the restaurant after celebrating a special occasion with a bad feeling over what we ordered and the way the leftovers were boxed.........
Always a wonderful evening at Hanks. Truly the best restaurant in all the Stations Casinos. Food pristine, service by Claudio and Luis exquisite. No detail left to chance. The wine list is diverse with expensive options and reasonably great inexpensive ones too. Worth the money.
From hostesses, Clay our waiter, Leah helping Clay, Roy stopping to talk with us, we were very pleased with our dinner. Look forward to going again soon. With my special food requirements since my dental implant surgery 7 weeks ago, Clay answered my questions and my meal was awesome.
The special , short ribs were too salty - I had to leave because my oxygen machine stopped working. I frequent your restaurant and I generally bring my guest with me. The guest enjoyed their meals but none of them ordered what I had. They did taste my meal and all agreed that the beef and grits were awful- I could not stay so the situation was not corrected. Well this is the first time we were disappointed leaving Hanks. Service, ambiance, drinks are always great no doubt, but the food this go around was mediocre at best. Three 4oz tenderloin filets ordered medium came to us very rare. The rare 8oz filet ordered was cooked medium well. We were not happy at those prices. Another member of our party ordered the halibut which was cooked nicely but terribly bland. Our waiter was informed and the manager sent over three desserts which we never intended to order (with the exception of our son's birthday dessert). I would have thought it more appropriate to offer us a gift card for a future visit to Hanks. It would have been a win/win for Hanks and us!
This is always a wonderful experience! Service is exemplary from front desk to servers. Food was good, although steak was a little undercooked for what we asked.
They were so great about splitting all the dishes in servings and accommodating for whatever we desired.
Business dinner for two. We were seated in a quiet area of the restaurant. This is a big and popylar restaurant. Excellent bar that is great for "people watching", Good selection of high end Bourbons and Scotches. The Prime steaks are excellent as was the oysters and Blue Crab cocktail. All sides ar ala carte.
First of all the room was very cold and uncomfortable. 2nd the expensive steak that I ordered (medium well) , came as medium and not prepared to my request.
3rd the steak was taken to be prepared according to my request, but within two minutes it came back the same as the 1st time. In my opinion the restaurant does not value customers, and they will not have my business again ever.
Best steak I have ever had in my life.
Be careful not to fill up on the basket of 5 different kinds of delicious breads.
Unfortunately we were seated at a table on the end, that had a shear curtain hanging beside it. It was a little close, actually touched the side of the table and the staff would have to throw it back, to serve from that side. Almost like a magic act, poof I am here to wait on you or pick up your straw, so you no longer have anything to stir with.
