Despite having reservations, we had to wait for about 10 minutes to be seated. We had checked in and we’re told to stand outside the restaurant to wait for our table. While standing there we were texted by open table to question whether we would make our reservation….
Everything else was fantastic. Food was fantastic, service was wonderful, etc.
I had a wonderful dining experience at Hank’s. The entire staff is exceptional.
We had a great time with a really awesome server!
My husband and I finally celebrated our arrival in Nevada by treating ourselves to a fine dining experience. I chose the bone-in filet mignon and my husband had the halibut. We also decided to try the crab cakes as an appetizer, as recommended by our server. We have to agree that they were THE BEST crab cakes ever!
My bone-in filet was fabulous - incredibly tender and flavorful. My husband said the halibut was the best he’d ever had. We didn’t have one square inch of space left for dessert, but the staff surprised us with take-home cheesecake AND a slice of chocolate cake!
The only slight negative was a group of ladies seated aside of us who were having quite a night. They were quite loud with their conversation and laughter. While I appreciate folks going out to celebrate any occasion, the front of the restaurant would have been better suited for their volume, as the back of the restaurant was set up as a quieter area, a bit more intimate. Oh well…the food was great, and we definitely plan to return!
Our waiter, John, did an outstanding job. Very enjoyable meal
Spectacular food and service. The wagu was to die for.
The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5, is the hostess the last two visits to Hanks have not been very attentive. They stood their looked at us but it took them 5 minutes to acknowledge us. It is very unprofessional and poor customer service. Now mind you there was no one else at the hostess podium. The food and our servers where great though as always. The Hostess need to be retrained…
Way too loud and noisy in the restaurant. The noise came from (1) the other diners, (2) the bar area, and (3) the live musician in the bar area. I had to shape my hands into a megaphone and raise my voice slightly for my wife to hear me. In order to hear her, I had to cup my ear with my hand. We investigated after the meal, and discovered a separate private dining area in the back that is open on Fridays and Saturdays. If we ever go back, it will be conditional upon getting seated in that private area.
Food was excellent, as is usual in the premium steakhouses in this area. My wife's halibut was slightly overcooked and very dry, but the waiter immediately brought some buerre blanc sauce when we mentioned the dryness. The sauce was a welcome addition.
I love the atmosphere here. It’s relaxed, but upscale. The Mojito’s were tasty. The food was excellent! The staff was fun and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back.
Excellent food and dining experience. We went for hubby’s birthday. He loved both the food and service, which were outstanding!
Great food, great service! Highly recommend! I would go back again next time I’m in Vegas !
Our waiter Claudio was a true professional and we would ask for him again. One of the top 5% waiters we have experienced in our 45 years of fine dining.
Drinks were perfect, appetizers amazing and my wife’s main course of scallops was exquisite.
Sadly, my order of Western Australia lobster was, well let’s just say it was not representative of the level of excellence this restaurant is trying to achieve.
Please at least give patrons a choice. Have Maine lobster tails on the menu. This was my last time ordering anything other Maine lobster. I’ve had rock, Caribbean and now Western Australia lobster, they simply don’t come close to the Maine or Canadian variety. They may be acceptable to the untrained palate, but to one who knows this is simply unacceptable and not to the standards of a quality oriented establishment.
Our date started trying to get in for happy hour. This is clearly a popular option so we hit the burracha cantina across the way. Amanda was a delight there serving up stiff drinks.
After a few drinks and some ceviche my partner and I headed to our reservation at Hanks. From there the night took a trip real quick. To summarize our two person table was adjoined to an eclectic party finishing their dinner. They allowed us to share in their celebration of a birthday. That gentleman shared my namesake and that of the joint.
Henry, Hank, the 101. It all blurrs together after the intoxicating 8oz filet and bacon wrapped scallops.
That was just the special my partner enjoyed while I dove into the prime rib American Wagyu, my first indulgence and definitely not my last. While I typically steer clear of red meat for health and conscious reasons, I could eat this every day.
Our server Crystal was a delight. She was the catalyst for the party next to us and the next party becoming acquaintances by the end of the night. All in all it was the best referral I’ve ever gotten from a Lyft driver!
Thank you Henderson. Thank you Hanks. You’ve elevated my expectations and set the bar high. She says tell them the martinis are orgasmic. Cant go wrong with the Dean martini or the hanks classic. I like it dirty ;)
Fantastic as always. Service was great, food was great. Overall very lovely.
Fancy steakhouse. Great food. Professional service. Food was very tasty.
Don't try to compare Hank's Fine Steaks at Green Valley Ranch Resort with other "famous" brand steak houses throughout the greater Las Vegas Region, that would be doing HANK's restaurant a dis-service to the quality (and quantity) of foods and flavors, and it would be unfair to the awesome service staff as well! We live in Henderson and Hank's Fine Steaks is conveniently located off Green Valley Parkway at The District !
We can't wait to return; again and again. Yummmm!
Great service! Good to see everyone back to work. Probably the best overall meal ever. We expected less since it was a special price to help charity but instead, everything from beginning to the chocolate bar, was 5 star.
It was our first time at Hank’s and it will not be our last.
Very attentive servers ensured we were taken care of. Ordered the special surf and turf menu for two. Overall it was decent, the filet, au gratin potatoes, mushrooms, kitchen sink salad, and creme brulee were good. The lobster tail was massive, but it was overcooked and more tough than expected.
Priced high for an average meal, but the service was great.
The food was incredible and so fresh. Our servers were so sweet and attentive to us. We really enjoyed the crab cakes - they were made with the Alaskan crab and it was to die for. I would've ordered several as an entree if I would!!
Delicious meals every time. Since pandemic, service not at top as usual
Louie and the team provided superior service. The food was outstanding as always.
The food was amazing as was the service. For part of the evening the live piano was a little loud, making it difficult to hear our conversation. However, we totally recommend this restaurant. It was, overall, a wonderful experience.
The food at Hank’s was wonderful, however the service was lacking. We weren’t seated until 30 minutes after our reservation time. The lights were very bright, much more than usual. My poor husband’s head was sweating due to the heat from the lights. When we asked if they could be turned down to the level they normally are we were told no. The wait time for drinks and food was unusually long. Gratuity was automatically added to our bill for a table of 6, which we’ve never had happen before. I’m assuming that the poor service was due to the recent lifting of Covid restrictions, resulting in a lack of staff. Hopefully they will work out the service issues soon.
Went to celebrate my wife's 77th birthday and can't say we were overly impressed. The shrimp in the cocktail were huge but very bland. Sorry we ordered them. The noise level and piped female voice music was too much to bare. Couldn't wait to leave. Sorry we didn't go elsewhere where it was much more relaxing.
Bring your appetite. The steak portions are generous.
Celebrated at Hanks on my 50th and food was excellent. On this visit celebrating my daughters 21st we found the steak just fair, it lacked seasoning and flavor. Wait staff and atmosphere were outstanding.
Each time we visit, the experience gets better and better. My new favorite spot since I moved to Nevada!
The restaurant is beautiful when you walk in. You are greeted immediately. The booths are luxurious. The wait staff is attentive.
John was an exceptional pleasure, efficient, yet fun!!!
If, by chance you get seated in the back room, it’s also wonderful. Completely different ambiance. Quiet, private and more intimate.
The food is excellent, the filet beats Ruth Chris, more tender, better outer crust and not over salted- a delight.
So far, every visit has been perfection. Looking forward to my next dining experience there
Amazing service, best we had in Vegas. Food was very good and tasty.
Whenever we travel to the Vegas area the first place we go to eat is Hanks. It is the food and service dreams are made of. Our servers are always attentive and extremely friendly.
The gourmet food is out of this world delicious. This time we tried the lobster and steak. It was amazing! My favorite side dish is the bang bang broccoli. It is awesome.
Can’t wait to return to Henderson, stay at GVR and eat at Hanks again
Food was quite tasty, and the service was reasonably attentive. Noise, however, was an issue, making it difficult to have a conversation at the table. Maybe it was because our table was near the pathway to get to the room with the bar, where there was music and louder guests, but nonetheless it diminished the otherwise good experience. Of course, some people might enjoy that energetic vibe (that comes with the noise)....not our cup of tea.
Hank's continues to be my go to venue for special occasions. Last night my wife and I celebrated our 46th Anniversary. The Filet Mignon and King Crab Legs were absolutely wonderful. The best we have ever eaten. I also recommend Hanks Manhattan for a smooth drink to go along with it. We will be back. This was our third dinner in a year and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we had. With tax and tip the bill was just over $300. We are not sorry we went. We even got to see Wayne Newton and his party come in to eat.
