    How do you rate a dining experience when it exceeds "Outstanding"? We've dined all over the Las Vegas valley, and we always return--over and over--to Hanks. The food preparation and presentation can hold its own against any of the over-priced steakhouses on the Strip. The drinks are delicious and well-proportioned. But the key aspect of this experience is the impeccable service. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted by the friendly hostess' who take you directly to your seat. We were lucky to draw the team of Claudio, Beau, and Al as our hosts. And let me tell you...they are attentive to every detail. The menu choices were explained in detail, water glasses were constantly refilled without having to request anything, and the meal arrived in a timely manner. Never--not once--did we feel that our waitstaff was not in-tune to our enjoyment. If you go to Hanks, request this team!

    Our waiter, Brandon, was excellent, providing everything we asked for. My steak was too rare, but I ordered it medium/rare. Tasted great. Others commented on how good things were.

    Awful!!! Service was horrible took an hour to get food! Ask us to remove hats which I understand, but sat 4 guys right across from us that had their hats on backwards!!! Never mentioned anything to them

    SORRY 1st time reviewing here and its an honest review.. -Celebrating my husband’s 50th Bday..he chose to just have a fine dining dinner over a big party and we chose this place. Food was fantastic.. What made me NOT to come back is the service.. Server’s name is Leah.. 1st she spilled water on our table i let that go it happens . 2nd she brought out mac and cheese that we did not order(we ordered shrimp tempura) she apologized its ok it happens 3rd i have to ask the them to remove the empty plates from our dinner so we have enough space for our appetizers. 4th not a single time she came and ask how was our appetizers or if we need anything. 5th again i had to ask to remove the empty plates for our entréè that is coming up. At this point im already annoyed but trying to cool it down due to i didnt want to ruin our night for hubby’s bday. 6th she only came once and its towards the end of our entree to ask if the food was good? Never once she asked if we need anything during our meal or upsale want some sauce with your steak ?soda ??or something.. 7th she just drop our check did not say anything (desserts or anything) nothing ..given that i put on my reservation that it was Hubbys 50th bday.. Spoke to the GM Carlo gave me his card asking to give them a 2nd chance at that point i turn it down im super annoyed 😒 because they just ruined my hubbys bday. We’re here to celebrate as a guest and relax. This made me very sad. @GM CARLO sir i appreciate you but if you really want to make it up you will go out if your way (we are hotel guest have a Tuscany suite and did room charge at your restaurant) im sure you can get our info. We’ve to a lot of fine dining restaurant but this is the 1st time that this happen from the imagine from the moment we sat down til the end it was all messed up. I gave her a lot of chance considering everything but she really sucks im so sorry😞.

    Thanksgiving menu was ok. Good size portion of white and dark meat. Potatoes were too creamy and stuffing was a bit too moist for my liking.

    Most is overpriced for what you get. No real gourmet quality to the food. The $65 Thanksgiving turkey dinner was tasteless, except for the truffle stuffing. The sides were said to be large, family style portions - they were not. The steaks were OK but nothing special.

    I am delighted to share our wonderful Thanksgiving dining experience at Hanks Fine Steak House Green Valley Ranch. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the exceptional service and attention to detail. Melissa, our bartender, went above and beyond to ensure our martinis were made to perfection. Her attentiveness and expertise added a special touch to our evening. Carlo, the VIP concierge, was outstanding in meeting all our needs with class and a genuine smile. It was evident that customer satisfaction was a top priority for him. Brandon, our server, and his team provided us with 5-star service throughout the evening. Their professionalism and attentiveness made us feel valued and well taken care of. We truly appreciated their dedication to providing an exceptional dining experience. The food at Hanks Fine Steak House was exceptional. Every dish was prepared with care and attention to detail. The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was impeccable. It was evident that the chefs took great pride in their culinary creations. The only downside to our experience was missing our 5-star Sommelier Diego. However, Karisa and Leah, who were present, made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. Their warm and friendly demeanor added to the overall positive ambiance of the restaurant. Overall, our Thanksgiving dining experience at Hanks Fine Steak House Green Valley Ranch was nothing short of fantastic. The attentive service, delicious food, and warm atmosphere made it a truly memorable occasion. We highly recommend Hanks Fine Steak House to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. The waygu filet and strip was cooked to perfection . The lobster chowder was delicious and the shrimp cocktail was fresh and exquisite .

    Scam Alert! Waiter John Rey told us soup and dessert came with Thanksgiving special. Nope. Charged for it. I didn’t want a salad.” But it comes with meal” Nope. Charged for it. This has happened before. I let it go. Tonight didn’t seem right so I looked at bill when I got home. This is a huge disappointment. Food great. Waiters and management shady.

    We looked forward to dining here for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. Pros: Beautiful restaurant. Seated on time. Cons: It was actually noisier than we expected for such a nice restaurant. The food: The bread and soft butter were excellent. Being vegetarian, I ordered different side dishes instead of an entree, as I often do when dining out. The very generous portions could easily have served three people. Unfortunately, none of them were hot, they were all served at room temperature. Let's face it, cooled off mac and cheese is not what's expected at a restaurant. The asparagus was "woody" and hard to cut. The sliced tomatoes with spinach and cheese would have been delicious, had they been hot. They weren't even warm. Normally, I would have asked that my food be replaced with hot items, but because it was Thanksgiving, and the servers were all extremely busy, I didn't. Had our food been hot, it would have been worth the cost, but since it wasn't hot, it was definitely not worth it.

    The food was outstanding as usual. But, shame on us for not asking if the 3 course holiday dinner was al la carte. It was way too much food for us old folks. And the server did an outstanding job checking on all items to verify that none had wine or sulfites (food allergy). But he also did not say that the 3 courses were al la carte, and the menu was not printed so we could see for ourselves. Not that we couldn't afford it, but we would have made different choices that match what we could reasonaly expect to eat. I would strongly suggest that the servers mention this in the future.

    The food was excellent, service as well. However, the charges for alcohol were extraordinary. $25 for a glass of wine! (I had two, obviously not aware) and $20 for a martini! I would definitely return but skip the alcohol. And one further thing; we were under the impression the dessert (which was beautiful) was included in the turkey dinner. Overall, far too expensive.

    Thanksgiving dinner, an awesome experience from walking in to walking out. The quality of the food was exceptional along with the service. The staff was very personable and helpful.     Our drinks, appetizers, and first course were off to a great start. Then we waited 45 minutes - the tables all around us left before we got our incorrectly cooked filets. Won’t be back.

    Hank's is one of the best steak restaurants in the Vegas area. We can only comment on the steaks (though they have many other options), but the selections were awesome. The tomahawk ribeye was fantastic. The grass fed Filet was so tender. All steaks were cooked to perfection. The quality of the food was as good as you would get on the strip, but at lower prices. The service was incredible. Would highly recommend.

    We've been going to Hanks 2-3x a year for quite a long time now. Always great steaks and seafood. It was our 25th Anniv this trip and our assigned server was a bit busy with a big table of big guys getting big drinks :) However, Leah stepped in an took care of us, getting our all of our drinks, food, etc. taken care of in a extremely friendly and proactive manner. Seriously, she hit it out of the park with her excellent service and friendly attitude. We had a bit of fun with our wine order and our after-dinner desert wine orders this trip. Both of the selections we had ordered were unable to be found, however, the sommelier brought over a substitute (Doctor Thanisch) to review that was exactly what I would normally get when the J.J. Prum Riesling is not available. The after dinner desert wine was out so they brought us servings of two different substitute bottles and put it on the house, which was very nice and a great example of their commitment to service. We were more than happy with both and it added to the experience in how smoothly management took care of us. Desert was the excellent bananas foster, which James was nice to set a picture moment for us when it was time to set the dish on fire :) Again, excellent meal and service. We love coming to Hanks and you made another great experience for us.

    The special on halibut with scallops and mashed potatoes was delicious, as was the French onion soup. Good selection of white wines, and the prices for the wine are moderate ($12 a glass). My only dissatisfaction was with the wagyu Carpaccio - expensive for 2 ounces of meat ($60) and pretty tasteless even though very tender. I love Carpaccio and order it in many restaurants, but this was not what I expected. Service is phenomenal, the restaurant is beautiful, and the location in GV Resort easy to access.

    I booked a reservation @ 9:15 pm for 4 people. On arrival the restaurant was closed with a sign saying they would be reopened the next day with no email notification or call to let us know the restaurant would be closed the day of our reservation after we had ubered from the strip to dine here. Be weary and call before to make sure they’re open so you don’t waste your time!

    Great food (had the tuna tartare and the filet mignon prepared as a steak tartare) and outstanding service from Denise, Scott and Kyle (and Leah as special guest star). Not forgetting the new GM who really makes a difference and makes you really feel at home. Can't wait to go back !

    IF YOU WANT A BOOTH - LET THEM KNOW WHEN YOU MAKE THE RESERVATION. WE'VE BEEN GOING TO HANK'S FOR OUR BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME WE WERE NOT ABLE TO SIT IN A COZY, ROMANTIC BOOTH. WE ASKED FOR ONE WHEN WE GOT THERE - BUT THEY WOULD NOT ALLOW US ONE - EVEN THOUGH SEVERAL BOOTHS SAT VACANT FOR A GOOD HOUR AND A HALF. TO BE FAIR THEY GOT QUITE BUSY BY THE TIME WE WERE READY TO LEAVE - BUT ONE WOULD THINK THAT FOR A FIVE O'CLOCK RESERVATION THAT WAS MADE ALMOST A WEEK AHEAD OF TIME - THEY COULD BE MORE ACCOMODATING.

    We were greeted immediately upon entering the restaurant and were seated within minutes. Our cocktails arrived immediately afterwards, and we were able to enjoy them while taking in the ambiance of the restaurant. Our service team consisted of Claudio, Beau, and Al; between them they attended to every detail and I can't imagine how any team could be more professional. Be sure to request them, as they are knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. As always, the food itself was 1st class. We cannot wait to return.
