Came here for Happy Hour with a few friends/clients. Think I had higher expectations given the rating in FB, Yelp and Open Table but it’s just a sports bar. Maybe a notch above you average sports bar but food was mediocre. We ordered, deviled eggs, veggie burger, shisito peppers, muscles in wine (really tastes but the peppers seemed like they were past their expiration), zucchini pasta dish and a salad. Nothing was horrible and nothing was really that good. Service was attentive.
Food was just okay, but everything else was great!
Good food but loud.
Food , drinks and service all on point
I like this place but have had mixed service in my visits. This last visit the waitress was outright rude so we complained to the manager and he made everything great.
It’s great for brunch and happy hour!
Great food and cocktails
I love this place! Fit for anything. Been here for St. Patty's, prior to sport events, dates, boozy brunch on the weekends. Amazing Old fashioned! Highly Recommend!
It’s very good for a bar and everyday dinner. Better than expected and happy ambiance! Great for a beer and a burger or for a margarita and fish tacos.
My student picked the place and it was basically bar food. A bit noisy but very nice service.
We were a big group for a bachelorette party and our waitress was very attentive and prompt with drinks and food. We had a nice large table in quieter back area all to ourselves and had a great time.
Truly delicious food in an uninspired room with deafening noise.
Came here to have a get together with my cousins, the food, service and drink were great. Recommend to anyone in the Tristate area
Staff was so friendly! They didn’t rush my friends and I during brunch and let us enjoy our time. I really liked how the restaurant is separated from the bar. Great brunch value with a different menu than most places.
What a wonderful place. Food was great and the cocktails were even better. Very knowledgeable staff and exceptional service. We are going to become regulars!
It was a snowy evening and we wanted to find a place close to the hotel. This restaurant was only 500 feet away so we booked a reservation. When we got there, we found the place with standing room only in the front where the bar was. A table was waiting for us and four of us sat down.
It was difficult to have a conversation over dinner; the noise was just too loud to speak in a normal conversational voice. We had to shout to be heard.
The food was better than expected and the service was just fine. But if you’re looking for a sit-down relaxing dinner restaurant, you will find it challenging to talk. The food made up for the difficulty in having a conversation though.
I’m gluten free, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. The brunch was great!
We went here to celebrate my birthday last weekend and it was absolutely perfect. There were ten guests at our table and they were attentive the entire time - I think we ended up being there for three hours. The bottomless option was amazing - our table had the house punch and mimosas, and the drinks literally never stopped - we even received complimentary shots. The food was AMAZING! We had the Truffle Fried Burrata, Jerk Wings and Deviled Eggs for appetizers - highly recommend ALL! I had the Handcraft Breakfast for my meal and it was delicious. There wasn't a single complaint from anyone in our party. I will definitely be going back here whether it is for brunch, lunch, dinner or happy hour. Thank you Handcraft Kitchen for the amazing birthday celebration!!
Delicious cocktails, great service, good spot for a first date.
The veggie burger and tater tots were not worth the $20. The pink lemonade ($14) tasted like a powdered drink packet and bottom shelf vodka. The entire experience was not worth the $80. cost.
Wrapped up a mtg w/colleagues around the corner, and we headed over for a libation - which was fantastic! Make sure you order Cocktail #3, absolutely hit the spot! Tried a couple nice items from the menu, I recommend the deviled eggs, pulled pork sliders and cauliflower burger. Everything's got a kick to it, a bit hot/spicy, but was all very flavorful. Mangia!
Exceeded expectations on every level. Can't wait to go back. So many things to try on the menu and service made the evening over the top outstanding.
Some good points and some bad points.
The good - The bloody mary was delicious. I've had a fair share of bloody's and this one was really good. The server was really nice but it ends there. They comped my order for her mistake. See below.
The bad - They messed up my order. Our waitress couldn't read her own short-hand and entered breakfast burrito instead of breakfast burger. My husband's food and the incorrect dish - burrito, came at the same time. I am waiting, without anything to eat while my husband is eating alone, so his food doesn't get cold. Of course, now I have to order another awesome bloody..... When my burger does arrive, it's over cooked. I ordered medium, it's well done. I'm just glad they took it off our bill.
Are at the back of the restaurant where the seated area is. Food was decent, price was not bad, and drinks were great. Our server could've been a little more attentive to us since there were only a few tables to be waited on. If in the area again, will definitely check out happy hour.
Spent a few hours there having dinner. Food was great. Cocktails were also fantastic. Fun atmosphere in a fun neighborhood. Looking forward to going back.
We picked the place because it's near the Kips Bay movie theatre.
The person at the bar, who was very friendly, took me to my table, which was is in the back, away from the bar, and quieter. The rest of the staff was very attentive. I had the duck breast, which was really well prepared with quinoa, peas and other vegetables. The presentation looked great. My friend had the Jambalaya, which he also really liked. Would definitely go back.
We had an awesome evening with friends. The food and service was excellent. A cool hip vibe. Loved the industrial decor. A very interesting and delicious menu.
We were seated over an hour late. Waitress and host did not tell previous party about our reservation and allowed them to sit after they finished eating/paid bill for 25+ min and we couldn't sit as a result.
Nice eatery to meet up with friends
Food was good. Nice value for happy hr.
Friendly courtesy staff
Would highly recommend to others
The service was sub-par. The host had a terrible attitude and the bartender was beyond slow. Took forever to get a coke. Food was not phenomenal to make any of this worth it. Recommend skipping this.
Alex, the ownernis as energetic and enthusiastic ad they come. Anthony the bartender was great too. The buratta stole the show and we had a great bottle of pinot. Can't remember the name, but Inguess that means it was a success. Will.be back
Fun, great food, awesome service and great bottomless brunch: you get the champagne bottles and juices and make them yourself instead of the classic NYC ultra watered down bottomless!
Everything good. Probably better to go to for drinks though.
Did not honor reservation
Such delicious food and bloodied!! Love this place!
Loooooved the drinks and tot option for nachos! My friend was impressed with the place. Great place!
Brunch was delicious. My only complaint was that we ordered a side of French toast that the waitress forgot about. Not that we ended up needing it because the two dishes we shares were more than enough. Enjoyed both greatly. My Bloody Mary was yummy too
We went for brunch and had a great meal. Good variety on the menu with typical brunch items with a twist. Great taste and presentation. We will be back!
The place is cute and offers interesting brunch dishes. Portions were generous. The only thing is that the service really needs to be improved. There was no one at the door to seat us so after waiting 5 minutes, we walked up to the waitress in the back of the restaurant and asked for a table. There seem to be only 2 waitresses working the brunch hours. No one ever came to refill my coffee. And when I asked for a refill, the waitress disappeared and never came back. I had to ask for a refill again from a different waitress. Maybe it was just an off day. I would try the place again and see if service improves since I liked the food.
