We had a reservation for hibachi for 8 people, but two people in our party were running late. The restaurant was so nice and held our table for us while we waited for our guests to arrive. They never gave us a hard time about seating us later than we requested. The hibachi experience was great. Will definitely go again in the future.
Food was excellent- service was a little harried as the place was extremely busy. Our reservation was honored on time. A real plus !!
Glad we found the food to be as good as our last visit. We had heard it was under new management. The only negative is really about the ambience. The place looks a little tired, like it could be spruced up &/or given a really good tidying/cleaning. We went in May and the Christmas decorations were still up.
EXCELLENT. Plenty of good food and entertainment by the chef. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I DID NOT FEEL RUSHED AT A HIBACHI TABLE. Great experience.
We have been here several times and the food is always very good, and family always has a good time. Can get pretty pricey for a family of five, so usually only for special occasions. One thing they could improve is better ventilation due to the amount of smoke from all the cooking tables.
The Lamb Hibachi dinner was quite good although it doesn't taste as fresh when it is not cooked at the table.
Service was poor. Checks at our habachi table were incorrect and we waited for the server for 20+ minutes to come back. Finally I just left our money

Food is Outstanding! Some Hibachi chefs are better than others. Had to wait 15-20 minutes even with a reservation and open tables. Waiter must have been newer, he kept trying to take my drink away from me! Had a great B'Day dinner for Mom with the Family!
Don't bother making reservations! They don't seem to help. We waited 45 minutes past our reservation time to get seated and then another 45 minutes before a chef was available to cook for us. They were very understaffed. The food was fine. We wouldn't go back especially on a weekend night!
Excellent food and a “showy” Japanese chef. We had a wonderful time and an excellent hibachi meal. Would definitely return.
Took WAY too long, even though we had made a reservation in advance. It took 30 minutes for a waitress to come take our order, then took another 30 minutes for the hibachi chef to come to our table, the whole thing took 2 hours for a simple hibachi meal. Overpriced. Poor service, waitress barely came around. WAY too loud.
Food was good, bit service was slow and restaurant was freezing.

I have been here for several occasions including anniversaries and birthdays. The staff has always been accommodating and excited to assist my party with the celebration of all occasions.
This was your usual hibachi experience. Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed. Somehow they were out of Miso soup and also out of the Sushi Sandwich. Food was okay. Sushi was not great. Pricey for what it is but that's how all hibachi is.
Great place for me and my family to enjoy dinner and some time alone! My kids Love the hibachi grill and experience of it being cooked in front of them!
The food was good but the service was slow. My appetizer didn’t come until the food on the hibachi was almost done, then she didn’t bring any soy sauce for the wasabi paste to dip the sushi in, and I had to get up from the table and get it myself from another table. Then, the manager told my friends who were paying separate checks that they both couldn’t use a coupon, because we were considered one party. Very bad customer service.
Waited 10 min at our table before a waitress came over for drinks. Felt very rushed. Hibachi Chef came over to start cooking before drinks or appetizers even arrived
A family of 5 was in and out in 50 min. Not very happy.
We enjoyed Hana. Although my kids said the cooking was less exciting than usual (certainly not as exciting as Bennihana), the food was more seasoned, and service was the fastest we've ever had at a Hibachi restaurant (which is both a plus and a minus, I suppose).
To be clear: my wife enjoyed the food at Hana a lot, said the seasoning was just right -- but I felt the chef rushed: the steak wasn't trimmed very well, and the scallops were overcooked.
The service was fair during this visit. It took nearly 15 minutes, after being seated, for anyone to notice me and bring water. I almost left. I ordered on of the specialized rolls. Visually, the place was no full. I saw open tables around me and 1 guy at the sushi bar. I inquired about the roll, 20 mins waiting to that point, the sushi chef shows up with my order and saw 'we very busy why you had to wait. The presentation was no good, and they didn't bring the extra sauce I asked for. The bill appeared quickly, the girl waited to get the payment. Tacky.
Once again the food and service was amazing. This was our first time having habatchi and it was hilarious. This made our daughters going away for college very special. Thanks again for always being consistent and top notch!
We brought our grandchildren and they loved the food. The staff treated them wonderfully. The youngest was afraid of the fire but soon he got into his meal and really enjoyed himself.
Of the few Japanese restaurants around the area, this is our favorite. The food is great and the
staff goes out of their way to make your time with them enjoyable.
The food was amazing! The Fantastic Roll is indeed fantastic. And our waiter Vincent was terrific.

We used open table to get a lunch reservation for our family of 5 at Hana's after graduation ceremony. We enjoyed a very delicious and fun meal. Service was very good and the chef very personable. They advertised mojitos as a drink special but had a difficult time with ingredients. I recommend enjoying a lunch or dinner at Hana's. Using Open Table was very easy.

Been here several times, the food has always been good. We had reservations, on time, took awhile to be seated. Our server was very slow. Drinks were very good. The toro tartar was prepared different than what we had before, and was kinda bland. We had various sushi, which were excellent. But the service, was poor.
We were told that we would be seated as soon as our party arrived. They were ten minutes late and we then had to wait an additional 30 minutes. Then we waited another 20 minutes for our habaci chef. Food was delicious. Our server brought the bill as soon as we finished not giving us the option for ordering dessert. The children in our party were disappointed so we did order for them. We also ordered coffees but the server came back & said they were "out of coffee". That was hard to believe as the place was full with more people streaming in. Then the front desk person came to our table and asked us to leave while we were still waiting for the bill!! Hope it was just an off night for them but for our family was disappointing because it was a supposed to be a celebration.
We stopped in while traveling through the area. It was efficiently served, delicious, and nicely presented. The menu was interesting. The best item we had was the lemongrass seafood hot and sour soup- very spicy and with large chunks of seafood.
The food was very good. It was the tastiest fried rice I've had anywhere. The sushi and sashimi appetizers were delicious. Hibatchi food was cooked perfectly. The wine was ok. Not great. The service was quick and helpful. I would definitely go back.
We made a reservation at Hana for my daughter's birthday. This is my second time at Hana's restaurant, this time with my children. We had sushi platter as an appetizer. Sushi was fresh and tasted as if it came straight from the market. Seafood, especially scallops are worth going back again. The presentation of the sushi and the chef were excellent. We had steak and seafood hibachi plates which satisfied all of us in volume, presentation and taste. The reason rating is 4 stars instead of 5 is I felt we were rushed to leave. Our original reservation was 5 pm in Saturday and many people (easily 20+) were already waiting to be seated at the entrance. Considering the rush hour time, less than an hour dining experience at Hana's felt short since we wanted to have a chance to enjoy the desert. Regardless, my husband and I will go back again for sake and sushi perhaps seating at regular table next time.
The service was great. All staff that we came in contact with was friendly. Food was good.
Susan and I both agree that Hanas is authentic and keeping with the Japanese spirit. We enjoyed the meal. We enjoyed the ambiance. And we enjoyed the service. Strongly recommend this restaurant.
The food was fantastic however the appetizer which was a sushi roll came during the Hibachi dinner also the martini did not come for 20 minutes after it was ordered
We were visiting our daughter at Albany and we wanted Sushi. Another establishment was closed so we chose this place. The sushi was excellent and they had numerous choices for two of our guests where one was a vegan and the other vegetarian. Everybody enjoyed the meal and I thought very reasonably price. We were a group of 7 so they automatically included a gratuity. I am not a fan of the practice since I always tip 20%+. But, I understand that some larger groups do not take care of their service people.
