Top Notch - best on St. Simon’s

Terrific night with over the top service and delicious memorable meals! Everybody enjoyed the dining experience. Top notch wine suggestion, too!

Awesome new breakfast menu. Loved the avocado toast!

Really enjoyed the experience at Halyards. Was a little disappointed in the food. Don't get me wrong it was good but just not great. I was expecting great.

Our server Michael was awesome...loved our meal!

This is our go too for special occasions when we make an out of town trip! The food has never disappointed! Yummy!

We discovered Halyard's breakfast and it was excellent! A couple of our party enjoyed the bottomless mimosas and their bloody mary selections were great.

Best restaurant in the area

This is my favorite upscale dinning place on the Island. The food is excellent and the service is always outstanding, especially Carroll who we ask for every time we go.

Loved this place. The hostess was super friendly, nice and welcoming. She was able to seat us early. We were in the bar area at at a high top-perfect for us as we normally eat at the bar.

If you can, ask for Dalton as your server. He is funny and knows the menu up and down and made really great suggestions! The appetizers were delicious-we had the Artichoke spinach dip and the tuna tartar!
Main course, My wife had the salmon with street corn and she loved it! I had the double cut pork chop with Pimento Cheese Potato Gratin, Arugula Salad, Pepper Jelly Gastrique... all very, very good. If I had to give one minus, it’s that the pork chop, while extremely flavorful, was under cooked.
I’m not a “sender backer” so I took it home and all the flavors held up with a bit more cook time.

We wrapped up dinner with a apple crisp with butter pecan ice cream. I could have eaten three of them. So good but not overly sweet.

It was our first trip to the Sea Island area but we’ll be sure to head back to Halyards when back in town.

Carol took great care of us, all our orders were perfect. Our salads and soup were terrific. Our entrees of Venison (moist), Tuna Poke, Salmon (Amazing) , and Snapper all were incredible. Very nice wine options. Desserts were also “best of all time” with Creme Brule and Apple cobbler. Have not had a nicer meal or attentive service on SSI in recent memory. We can’t wait to return!

I had the salmon my husband the steak, both were beautifully presented and tasted amazing. We sat at a high top in the bar, loved it.

My husband and I have dined with Halyards before and have enjoyed it every time. We wanted a quiet early dinner as we were both tired from the drive down that day. The waiter knew I had Gluten issues and made recommendations that led me to having the crab bisque which I would have never ordered because I would have thought it was started with a flour roux. So glad I had it, it was amazing! My husband had the wedge as his appetizer and he thoroughly enjoyed it s well. I ordered the scallops over creamy polenta with crispy pork belly. It was incredible. My husband had the black grouper special and was equally delighted with his selection. We opted to decline dessert as we’d had a lot of sweet during the Christmas holiday.

Excellent food as always. Pork chop was incredible. My wife ordered an Asian pasta dish which was equally impressive.

This was a great restaurant! A very good variety of dishes. I had a shrimp & beef vegetable noodle bowl that was awesome. My husband had the cobia special and loved it.
I highly recommend their wedge salad with garganzola dressing! Best wedge ever! And shareable.
Will definitely go back!

Ordered the 8 oz Filet. Was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Service was great and everyone was friendly and helpful. It was my first time eating here, but will definitely be one of my go to restaurants when I’m in the area.

Celebrating our birthdays- dinner excellent and so was service. Had eaten here before and glad we returned. I had a double cut pork chop that was so tender you didn’t need a knife. Hostess mentioned birthdays , a little surprised no one else did but not a big deal. Will return anytime we are in St. Simon’s

Our first visit. Sunday brunch was delicious. Might be the best avocado toast I’ve had. The sprouts from waycross GA were bursting with flavor. JJ was an excellent server. Very informative, attentive and friendly.
