Visit on holiday noon with friends, a bit worry about the holiday will affect the service or the food, but Hakkasan did a great job providing their food and service, nice bar, cool fusion Chinese food with good quality, same level good food you can have in Shanghai, Beijing or Taipei, the dim sum plate and duck salad are great.

I've been there before and had a great experience. This time, however, was not enjoyable. I asked the server to have chef add in tofu to a stir fry dish. He bluntly replied, "NO. The chef won't do it." Service was rude and unattentive. I will not go back.

Exquisite presentation, and a treat for your senses. From starters, to small plates, and desserts, this dining experience did not disappoint.

Snooty and unhelpful hostess team. Initially set us at an undesirable table and then were rude and unprofessional when we requested a table change. They created a ver unnecessary scene. How unfortunate. Waitress was pleasant. Food was only “ok” and overpriced. Lacked the finesse and subtlety of other Hakasan locations. This locations f of resembled PF Chang’s more than Hakkasan. Very unpleasant and disappointing for the price and based on other Hakkasan restaurants.

This was my fourth time here and for some unexplained reason my food order was dramatically slower than the surrounding tables. I was the first one to sit down for lunch at 11:30 am and the very last to receive my main lunch in the entire area. The waitress apologized a couple times but didn’t really explain why my XO scallop dim sum and pea shoots were so terribly slow to deliver. The dim sum came out cold so perhaps sat a while. Just disappointing considering lunch came to $50 (tea, soup, one dim sum order and the pea shoots).
However, I really like the unique dishes here and the atomosphere so will give it another try when in the mood for elevated Chinese. Just may be an off day?

We’ve been to Hakkasan many times. Nice body told us initially it was prefix $188 dinner for NYE. We asked the server and even after we were presented with the menus it didn’t seem like the $188 per person was worth it. I was under the impression for $188 we were sharing it. The portions were small and I don’t eat meat so I only ate the two items that I ordered in addition to the $188. When we get t the bill it was $188 x 2 which I thought was disappointing since I didn’t even eat anything other than the vegetarian hot and sour soup and the vegetarian chicken which was added on a la carte.

Very creative menu and excellent cocktail choices. Beautiful decor. Most of the service was good, but we had to ask repeatedly to get our bottle of sake so we could refill our glasses. Sadly, the sea bass was not as fresh as it should have been and we didn't eat it. The server did not ask why. Dim Sum is great and desserts were top knotch.

It was our end of the year lunch and we decided to do it special. We choose Hakkasan whenever we have a celebration just because everything is a level above the rest. This time we had the morel dumpling, three-mushroom stir fry, sweet and sour pork and fried rice, plentiful for the two of us. The tea Ti Guan Yin is a fragrant sip.

Waited 15 minutes to be seated at our table even though we had booked earlier. Food, the little we did eat, was average. Final bill, for 3 adults and a child was $320.

These guys have really lost their edge. Service was very nearly unacceptable.
Something has gone wrong here, they don't live up to the service provided in NY or Vegas locations.
Hopefully it gets fixed.

This was the culmination of our 32nd anniversary celebrations. My hope was to have a great meal and a quiet evening however the staff of Hakkasan treated us like we were a part of their family. My wife was pleased with the attention that was given as each person greeted us with a happy anniversary wish. GREAT experience!

The appetizers, mains, drinks, and service were all excellent. The dim sum combination plate Duck Pipa, and sea bass were all fabulous! The desserts were not as worth the money as it was one pretty expensive meal.

Food was really good, however it was very slow. After 1.5 hours we had still only had our appetizers ~ it was just a very long lunch. Plan for plenty of time! Don't try to do lunch here in 2 hours. More like 2.5 - 3 hours.

I made a reservation through OpenTable for a business lunch on Monday. But when we arrived, the hostess couldn't find any reservation info at all. Luckily there was a table available and after few minutes hesitation, we were seated.
Note to myself: never completely rely on OpenTable reservations. Better make a call to double check, especially if it's an important business lunch.

Fabulous food, similar to Roka Akor in that even though it is a “chain” restaurant, the food is outstanding as was the service....not reflective of what people might typically think of a multiple restaurant franchise. The restaurant was very busy and people were really enjoying their dining experiences.

very disappointed on my second visit. made reservation months in advance for my daughters graduation party at USF--with all of my children flying in to SF to celebrate here. Hostess gave us a Table was behind bar-super noisy--could'nt hear my daughter for her toast even--- Couldn't understand the first waiter because of his accent ( they replaced him). My GF was allergic to Oyster sauce so her items on menu were limited to 3 choices. Not happy.
Loved the place first time when my son flew into SF, came here and were treated extremely well--disappointed 2nd time

The food is always great (except for the macarons) but don't be afraid to flag someone down to come take your order! The table next to us even got their food comped because of this same complaint.
