Marvellous Sea Bass.
A very good moment.
Not very authentic Chinese dim sum. They didn’t have a lot of stuff they used to have (and was on Yelp) that was more authentic. Not many choices for food and we left still hungry and feeling utterly unsatisfied. If you’re looking for some authentic dim sum this is not the place for you. But if you’ve never had Chinese food and want to try it out maybe this is a good place.
This was a birthday gathering and had an unexpected dropin, adding one more to our table. The staff had no issue adding a person.
The food was absolutely gorgeous and delicious. Such attention to detail in the presentation of the food is so appreciated. The pumpkin puffs are adorable and I could eat them every day.
Wide variety of unique cocktails, all presented beautifully.
Love love love this place!
Lovely meal. Duck fantastic and available without caviar as in some branches. Very enjoyable and attentive service.
the place is good
The food and wine selection is second to none. The sea bass is to die for. The clay pot pork belly and the bamboo shoot asparagus stir fry is very good as well
Service was wonderful. Food was exceptional. The servers were very attentive and friendly.
We enjoyed dinner, as usual.
Dinner date with wife.
We went to Hakkasan to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday. They have fresh inventive beverages and the meal was over the top. Amongst our favorites were the dim sum, braised shoicious!rt ribs and Jasmine tea smoked organic short ribs. Yum
Marvalous. Loved it and will return. The food was excellent and a great service. I liked that we didnt have to wait a long time for the food - great
Disappointed. The Dim Sum was not fresh. All dishes except for one was not up to Par. Overpriced.
Reasonable quality food, if perhaps lacking in great flair, and pricey for what it was. Some dishes we felt didn’t quite work, but that’s a matter of personal taste. Vibrant - some might say noisy - ‘nightclubby’ atmosphere, which is what they’re aiming for, I think, although we felt the music to be bland, aural wallpaper. Service was interesting. Initial server vanished and some things had to be requested several times, but overall initially attentive, then gradually fading out, until vanishing completely on presentation of the bill. Would I go back? Probably not.
I wish they would offer a gluten free vegan alternative with tofu.
Initially I got an open table email saying we didn’t make it to the reservation but we did! Maybe it was glitch in the system. We had the best time ever. Great food. Great ambiance. Awesome staff. My friend had a great birthday.
Great waiters, good services , very well coordinated, great food. We come from Montreal Can , I wish there would have one here!! Bravo to the management
Great food, great service.
Terrible service, waited over 35 min for appetizers to arrive and even then had to ask our waiter where our food was. Main courses arrived, one missing which came once we were almost done with the rest of the food. Rice arrived at the end of the meal. Manager tried to make this all up by giving us a dessert and a glass of wine.
As always, excellent food and service. Never disappoints!!
Excellent food and service, but a bit pricey, definitely a special occasion place!
Amazing food and service !
Hakkasan provides excellent service and the highest quality food. If it is your first time, I would suggest selecting the tasting menu. This is great way to experience the delicious food and gain a sense of what this restaurant has to offer. It is always a pleasure to dine at Hakkasan for lunch or dinner with business associates or friends. I have done both many times and have never been disappointed. Sending a BIG thank you to the Hakkasan team!
Food was great! Beef ribeye was a standout. Ambiance is very chic, not too loud. Service at other tables seemed to be quite good with servers making pleasant conversation, checking up on the meal, etc. Our server may have just been having a bad day as other servers ended up picking up his slack as the meal progressed. Our assigned server was very condescending and did not check up once with hour our meal was going. I am not usually a complainer about food that is served, however we had a noodle dish where they eggs and oil were clearly burnt and the whole dish had that flavor. I asked for a replacement (which was delicious) and the guy might as well have been rolling his eyes at us. Anyway, after that the guy just sort of disappeared and other staff took over. If we had been assigned them in the beginning I would have given an extra star. Oh well, can’t win ‘em all.
There is no better, nor more expensive, dim sum in SF. Great place for a special occasion. Had a terrific lunch. Service was really good.
A bit noisy
If service was more timely would have ordered dessert
Really great food lovely restaurant great ambience . Quite cool in the restaurant but once I mentioned to our server that was rectified . A lovely night thank you very
My favorite Dim Sum establishment, the Dim Sum lunch is a lot of fun and a broader choice of dumplings. The Pipa Duck is one of my favorites on the menu as well. The design of the restaurant is a little too much like a nightclub for my taste but I am not overly concerned about the ambiance, the food is fantastic and serves the most divine dumplings I have had.
Food at Hakkasan is always good, that one you can count on. Service differ between locations, the Las Vegas one has very good service, the best of all the Hakkasan I have visited so far. Maybe I am picky, but servers at this location cannot be found at times, and both times I needed to call someone, I had to wait for two to three minutes before they are within sight.
Fantastic service and Food is delicious!!!
Briefly - I've been to several Hakkasan locations from Europe to America. As a vegetarian, when you mention to the waiter that you don't eat any part of an animal, and you order vegetarian fried rice, if you request to not have the egg added, that should be a no brainer. All locations kindly said yes, however, San Francisco waiter told me the chef said "No" he is not going to do that. I then called the manager, he apologized, and the chef made the rice without egg. My guest said he only ate fish, and asked if the crabmeat soup had any other animal, waiter said no. When it arrived, I told him that egg was in it, he mentioned it to the waiter, and the waiter apologized that it did in fact have egg. This continued to the point where we left and unfortunately will not be going back
Really great vibe, at at the bar, dining single- great craft cocktails and very informed bar staff. Pricey but a great experience
Great dim sum, classy environment, white table cloth presentation—never been offered the choice of a white or black cloth napkin before—that was new! (Soy sauce stains?)
Dim sum was fresh and tasty; so was the cod and the shrimp. Tables loves the bok choy and the pea pod leaves too!
Will happily repeat as I have in the past.
PS fixed course dim sum was $39/head.
Single glass of the Pinot Noir was $44 lol but superb
Great spot for special occasions. Love the ambiance and would come back to hang at the beautiful bar.
Very tasty food but portion size is small. Very attractive facility. Entres expensive. Waitstaff...average helpfulness.
This was our first time dining at Hakkasan and it was amazing. Everything we had on the chef's sampler was perfect, nothing I wouldn't highly recommend. Staff was awesome and on point, just like the meal and cocktails.
Excelent service and food, duck plates were delicious
Jamas vayas. Hakassan SF es una verguenza la actitud y pesimo servicio
This was our second time dinning at Hakkasan it’s a little on the pricey side but absolutely delicious 🤤
I find it quite chilly inside so next time I would bring a jacket.
