Attended for my partner's birthday dinner and had a great experience overall. The food was sumptuous and well-portioned. The cocktails were delicious as well. The restaurant did not hesitate to accommodate my request for a birthday decoration for the dessert. The restaurant had a sultry ambiance with dim lights but as it was a busy dinner service, a certain level of noise was expected.
Taste of Hakkasan menu was such a lovely meal at a decent price. Dim sum starts we’re more fancy than normal, much like Yauatcha’s. Had the spicy prawns & stir fry beef which were both delicious. Cocktails were strong but still very tasteful at the same time.
Every dish was good
Absolutely loved the restaurant and experience!!
Fabulous evening to celebrate my Mother's Birthday. Amazing location, excellent food and an overall experience that I've been raving about since. Looking forward to returning in the near future.
Really interesting and well prepared Asian cuisine. Low lighting, very good atmosphere and very lively. Service is quick as they try to get as many people through in as short a time as possible. Cocktails are expensive and % discretionary service charge is creeping up so it makes it an expensive meal for two. Our bill was £306 including service.
Good food as always but expensive for what it is and seating downstairs much better than in bar area unless are going as a group of people.
Very nice place! I will come there often... I suggest to everybody to go there! The food is Amazing! The service good.. the Music is TOP! Deep-House..
the bar is also nice!
Great Food. I would have been dissapointed paying that much if I didn't like it, but the food was worth the price.
Cool welcome upon arrival, waited 15mins to be asked if we wanted a drink, then another 10mins for our food order to be taken. Given we were pre-theatre, this was a little stressful. Had to wait for about 10mins also to pay the bill.
That said, the food was beautiful. Really lovely.
My second visit and the food was delicious.
Sadly our food arrived before our cocktails....
Wasn’t disappointed though.
Good Cantonese dim sum with great value
It's not cheap but the food is amazing. Has a nice atmosphere. The staff are really nice. Highly recommend.
Amazing food and service it's always a safe bet
The atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing as well as the food and the service. I would highly recommend everyone that’s visiting London to go here.
Good food but not exceptional. Overall the experience was noisy, rushed and not to be repeated. China Tang is much better.
We went for a dragon lunch menu for 4 people. The quantity was clearly not 4x1. We were seated at 12 and the last main had not arrived by 2pm. They did take one course off the bill but quite frankly this is the least they could do. I have been going to Hakkasan Hanway place for 15 years and am shocked they have allowed the standard to decline this much
Lovely experience food was nice
It was amazing!!! Best way to spend our anniversary, the beef was so melt in your mouth outstanding, thank you so much!!
Great food as always but portions seem to have shrunk and prices have gone up. Back in the day Hakasan was unique but now there are some decent alternatives to try.
Also watch out if you’re looking for an intimate atmosphere as they will sometimes seat you upstairs in the very bright bar section. We complained and they moved us.
Nice but the a bit over priced for what it is
I haven’t received one dish of spring rolls I ordered ,the waiter simply forgot about it .
It shouldn’t have happened to that kind of restaurant.
This restaurant definitely has a reputation so I was expecting big things. However it fell short, after ordering my drink the waiter didn't come back for over 20 mins to take my partners drink order. Food is average. Staff are polite though.
Very nice but I think the jury is out on the value for money and if it is truly Michelin Star worthy. We had a lovely lunch though.
One starter dish of chilli squid arrived after we had finished our mains, and was so oily we couldn’t even eat it . Duck salad had a lot of “fatty” pieces which couldn’t be eaten. No one even asked at any time if everything was ok or how was the meal or why didn’t we eat the squid or duck pieces . We were seated downstairs which was quite empty so no ambience. Service was awful, had to wave to get anyone’s attention. Such a shame because the dim sum is delicious. Also the hit & sour soup is amazing.
Great Service and food as always. I always drop by when I visit London. My Favourite contemporary Chinese cuisine restaurant.
The ambiance is great and the staff friendly. While well presented, the food was lacking in flavour. For the price I would've expected more
These people are professionals. They know how to serve. They know how to cook. They know how to make you feel like you matter for what you are paying them. The food and drink is delicious and served to please. We had the Chinese New Year special meal and each course was new and prepared well. Delicous duck salad. Outrageously good Lobster funky pasta bits. Can't remember much else but it was all good. It is always fun people watching. The hostesses flirt appropriately and make every man feel like he's the one. Top notch.
Not too busy
Everything was as expected
rubbish gluten free options
broccoli came way too early and was finished by the time sea bass came (which was cold)
food came way after my friends food
asked for salt and the waiter replied "WHAT"?
Brilliant creative food, delicious cocktails, excellent service, great ambience and always consistent whenever you eat there.
Favorite dish: crispy duck salad
Great food and decent wine list - overall very reasonably priced. We had a table next to a large teenager group which was a bit annoying at times- but everything else was great!
Early Valentine’s date with my girlfriend, first time for both of us at this restaurant and the food and the experience was amazing. Will definitely be coming back and would definitely recommend it to anyone that enjoys good food at a nice venue.
The food was great but the waiters were in such a hurry that we didn't get much information about what we were eating. For example, I could see myself that here are dumplings, but what's inside?
A good restaurant will a cool ambience, but in the end the food was not worth the very high prices when compared to similar calibre restaurants not too far away.
The drinks were good, reasonable for the money.
Very trendy, seemed full of people who wanted to take pictures.
My family was over from US and I wanted them to eat somewhere special. A little disappointed that my niece who can only eat gluten free had to order a la carte and could not take advantage of the same menu as us with gluten free substitutes. Food was excellent as always
Total disaster, no manager, food never came, they mixed the orders. We were very surprised.
