Hakkasan - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
This meal was one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten! My husband and I split the vegetarian menu, and it was all exceptional! We had so much food, we were totally stuffed and beyond happy! Well worth the price because everything was expertly prepared and delicious. Would definitely come back again and recommend to others.
My friend and I recently dined here before a show. I read the mixed reviews, but based on the reviews of the food and the fact that it was a Wednesday and a slow night, we took a chance. I wish we hadn’t.
The service was awful. They offer multiple types of dinner menus in addition to the alacarte options, and we wanted to sort of get a good idea of the food so we picked the “las Vegas” menu with the wine pairing. First- our waiter couldn’t properly explain any of the food we asked about and when we ordered told us that the portions were shareable.. they were not.
The food was bland and overall tasteless and the wine was just dropped off in front of me with any explanation. When I asked what it was the waiter stumbled and could not give a good description. I purchased the reserve wine pairing for myself and this was an extreme disappointment.
When dessert came it was just as tasteless as the food. The waiter never asked if we were ok or how our food was, but the busser did. I wish I could’ve left a tip for him instead of the waiter. Don’t waste your time with this restaurant. It’s over priced and the food, experience and drinks are far from worth it.
So disappointed! My regular Hakkasan in NYC and Mykonos, Greece step up regularly w/service, food, and ambience. Tonight I took 2 business associates to a business dinner we planned a year ago. I wanted to impress and have them looked after properly w/the regular NYC-Hakkasan standards. Someone outside the restaurant was trying to get passers-by interested in eating in Hakkasan, which was our first clue that they're desperate. Inside, we were the only diners. Nobody welcomed us and asked us if we'd been here before or informed us how dishes come out and get shared, as they always explain in NYC. I wanted my guests to get the full experience. Once seated, we were ignored. I had to ASK for someone to take our drink orders. Then I had to ASK to place starters. Then I had to ASK for the rest of the starters to come after we sat w/remnants of food and plates for over 20 minutes. Then I had to ASK for desserts. The place was NOT understaffed and only 3 additional tables we counted an hour after we were seated. What a disappointing shame to leave feeling ignored and abandoned. I apologized to my guess and said that Hakkasan in NYC is still something they should give another chance.
The food was bland, boring and frankly very disappointing, especially for the price. You can get better Chinese food from a take out restaurant. I ordered the sautéed beef in merlot and the sauce was indistinguishable from my dining companion's sea bass dish. It was supposedly to be cooked medium rare, which it most certainly was not. It is shocking how it positions itself as a high end restaurant and serves such flagrantly tasteless food. The service was fine. The atmosphere is typical Vegas, a bit too loud with tacky interior design. Lesson learned: in Vegas, stick to the steak houses, and seafood restaurants. There is a lot of good food choices in Vegas, Hakkasan is definitely not one.
We came for dinner before seeing a circ show, we had to rush at the end of the meal because we were running late ( our fault, not Hakkasan's) the server was excellent at accommodating us so we didn't miss the show.
We loved the food...particularly the, sweet and sour Porto with pomegranate and the Hakka noodles.
Great ambiance, food and service!
The restaurant lives up to the reputation of the club and the food was amazing. The service was just OK, good however not the best but the food was dynamite. Highly recommend the Hakkasan Steamed Dim Sum Platter as well as the Hakka Fried Dim Sum. The Jasmine tea-smoked beef ribs were out of this world also, everything was just delicious. For dinner we ate an array of things, all were fantastic including the Crispy chicken with mango and plum sauce, the Stir-fry black pepper ribeye with merlot and chicken fried rice... every dish was absolutely delicious.
Could not wait to go back after our last time at this restaurant, but will never go back again! We had a 8:00 reservation and about an hour later we were seated . After 20 minutes and no waiter we complained and asked for the manager. No apologies, arrogant and rude he basically said do you want to order or not. $300 later for basically appetizers we were out. Do not waist your time or money at this place! We will never go back!
