I was actually very skeptical that I would like this place but it’s where my husband wanted to go for our anniversary. The overall ambiance is very “club” which makes sense since it is right underneath Hakkasan night club. It is very dark with blue and purple mood lighting and techno music playing. The food is absolutely amazing. We did the $88 a person pre fix menu and loved every item! Our waitress was also very nice and knowledgeable and was really on it without a lot of lag time between check ins. Beware though, you will most likely not walk out of that restaurant for less than $150.
The ambiance was good. They server was slow to check on our table. Waters weren’t filled often as at your typical restaurant. The cooks were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions which was very nice. Food was a bit pricy.
Great food! Just ok service. . But the food was worth the wait.
Food was amazing - service was not. Top Tip: if you want a customer to feel like you care about them in the restaurant, do 3 things: look at them when you speak to them, try not to look too bored with all these pesky customers for keeping you busy and bring the food they ordered - simple!
Wonderful service coupled with most delicious food preparations.
Would highly recommend it .
Third visit. First twomeals weregreat. This time The epitomal crispy duck salad was stingy enough with pomegranate, pine nuts and greens that it it a pile of non-crispy duck meat with garnishes.
The lemon desert was very mediocre with what appeared to be soggy grocery store cookies and stale cake.
The green beans and spicy shrimp were very good.
This place was excellent. The service over the top and friendly. The hot and sour soup with chicken the best.
We were disappointed in the sea bass. It's flavor was fishy. The dumplings and the beef tenderloin dish were very good.
Terrible service and nearly fed one guest food that they were allergic to
Hakkasan is a culinary journey. The food presentation is spectacular causing other guests to inquire. The taste...truly inspired and magical. Bold, flavorful. The staff function as a team each ensuring a great experience. This was our third visit to Hakkasan Las Vegas and we can’t wait to return!
Outstanding service by Jacob . Tasting menu was fantastic and a great way to try a few items we wouldn’t ordinarily have ordered. Highly recommended
We have been to Hakkasan in NYC, London, and Miami. All were delicious minus Las Vegas. The service was terrible here-I felt rushed and like they wanted us to leave. Our waitress could not explain any of the menu and only tried to sell us on the Prix fixe . We had a later dinner reservation for 6 on a Monday @ 9:30 (nothing that shouldn’t be expected). The food was good, but I can’t even remember what I had as nothing stood out. For the price paid, I should remember something I had eaten that was just fabulous. I would not go back.
One of the best food experiences in Vegas. Very intimate. Food is outstanding. You must try the tasting menus.
Thank you for the crew for accommodating us for the late night booking. We were stuck in traffic and arrived 5 minutes after the kitchen was closed. We were able to order the food and drinks regardless thanks to the crew. The service and food was amazing!!! If you are vegetarian, you must order the vegetarian dim sum platter... wow! Delicious!! Will definitely come back!
Just as good as the first time. Sea bass is unreal
Decided to go to Hakkasan in the MGM Grand hotel during our Las Vegas stay. It was Chinese New Year, for goodness sake (Year of the Dog). The waitress was incredibly helpful with the menu and we selected al la cart dishes from the small menu, entrée and sides based on her recommendations and the menu ratings of favorites. Everything was very unique and flavorful. One of the most enjoyable and innovative Chinese meals I have experienced
Great service. Our server was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I mentioned I had a shellfish allergy and he warned me not to eat any of my sister’s dish because the sauce had shellfish . He also recommended a great dish when I didn’t know what to order. I am glad to say he made the right choice and the food was better than I had anticipated.
Service was exceptional, the waiter made suggestions and was very accommodating. The food was excellent! Every bite was memorable.
The food was delicious.
Had a lovely meal here for my husbands birthday. The service was great and very friendly. The food was lovely and presented well. There was a vast range of wine and cocktails to choose from. Would definitely recommend a meal here, especially for a special occasion as they make you feel very special.
We love Hakkasan in every city. Their food is consistently superior especially the corn and crab soup and the champagne cod
The service and ambiance makes for an amazing dining experience.
The tasting menu on Open Table is not on the menu - they have several tasting menu options and they start at $88 per person for 2 people (not $58). But instead of just getting a choice of 1 starter and main - we got 2 appetizers, all 5 dishes (plus fried rice) and both desserts. (big meal and well worth it!)
Great place, great atmosphere and great food. Little pricey but well worth the cost
Very expensive small portions.
Our meal at Hakkasan was excellent. The restaurant itself is beautiful. There were 3 of us so we got to sample several dishes and there was not a miss. We ended up sitting and eating at the bar which is very nice. We were attended to by 2 people throughout the meal. Recommend Hakkasan completely. So far we have been to them in San Francisco, London Mayfair , Miami and now Vegas with each having a slightly different menu but all excellent.
The restaurant has the same name as the nightclub so for a second we were confused. We were slightly late getting to dinner (traffic on the strip). But we were greeted warmly and were shown right to our table. We started with the din sum sampler it was good and had the spicy prawns and fried rice. My husband ordered dessert and the restaurant gave us a very nice macaroon plate with a happy anniversary message. It was a great night and good food. We would absolutely go again.
The waiter was rude and dismissive. I made it a point when I made a reservation to let the restaurant know it was my brother’s bday. He forgot and didn’t bring any bday dessert. The entire dinner he was extremely rushed and I had to ask him if we could order drinks. Lastly while we were singing happy bday to my brother he interrupted to bring the check and place it in front of my brother. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone in Vegas.
Our party was 11 which required us to book through their corporate office. They were quick and efficient. They had a number of prearranged meals for a party of our size. The food was fantastic and I will definitely dine with them again.
Amazing food and ambiance but not worth the price. Drinks were SUPER expensive but overall, it was a good experience.
The ambiance was great.
I thought the fried squid was excellent, but the fried rice was very bland.
I think it was an overall good time however it was quite pricey
If you go between 5-6 there is a fixed menu with reasonable charges and it included dessert
The crispy duck salad and cod were very good except too much on the saucy side.
The dessert with the pudding inside (Don't remember the name) was outstanding.
Everything was brilliant! Made our birthday celebrations extra special! Massive extra thanks to Jacob x
The food was fine. My complaint is that the restaurant lists it's final seating at 10:30pm but closed the kitchen by 10:15pm. We had a 9:45pm reservation (after a show at the MGM) for which we arrived a bit early. We declined their invitation to have a drink at the bar prior to seating since we planned on a bottle of wine with dinner. After opening the wine and ordering our first two small plates, the waiter informed us that the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes and we had to order anything else we might want. We ended up with a table full of rapidly cooling small plates. Fastest $200+ meal I've ever eaten. Good thing we passed on the drink at the bar.
First time, won't be the last! We thoroughly enjoyed our night at Hakkasan. Our waitress was great! She was enthusiastic with her recommendations and was spot on! Oh, and she was 6 months pregnant and couldn't have been nicer. We loved the Crispy Duck salad (would eat this as a lunch everyday). Our entrees were great!
See you next time we're in Vegas.
Not impressed at all Nobu is much better.
One and only problem is, the waiter need to explain if the wine they bring for serve, different year old then you ordered
They didnt give any info about the wine that we choose on the menu 2013 but they served 2014.
This is their main resoonsibility.
Excellent staff and service really loved my evening
Few cocktails at the bar and great food
Best I had, the choice of in Vegas at most restaurants seemed to serve eat with your fingers 'junk' type food
Wonderful experience all around. The food was outstanding. The atmosphere was so intriguing. My only complaint was it seemed difficult to find, but that could just be me.
Unbelievable restaurant that is one of my favorites in the city. Great atmosphere, music, service, and service. Top notch Asian food with an amazing drink menu. Hakkasan LV certainly sets a golden standard in this city!
Amazing place for date, music not too loud. Food is shareable and very tasty!
