Hakkasan - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
We love staying at MGM so dinner at Hakkasan is a must for us! We love the lobster with cashews, the dumplings and the Haka noodles are my favorite item!! Service this time was a little slow and a bit confusing since our server changed a few times throughout our dinner, but the food was good as always. I think there might have just been several large parties around us? Still worth eating there for a special occasion.
The ambiance is great. Got lost trying to go into the restaurant vs the club. They should differentiate the entrances better. The decor and music is great. The drinks are great. The food to me is just okay, maybe because I'm Asian. The duck is great but all the other food seems to be your average Asian food served in a great presentation. Basically I'm paying for good looks and good vibes.
The service was horrid !! We poured our own prossecco bottle As we were ignored by the waiter !!
The food was pretty good
Manager was okay
Our waiter asked us to write our names beside the food we ate as we wanted sepaRate bills. He said he would figure it out at the end of the meal and I guess he did it want to do the work so had us place codes beside the food !! It was a joke. We complained and the manager took care of us! But our waiter... what an idiot
Excellent, service was a little slow but the food was awesome. We had to order a special menu because our party was so large but everything from the cocktails to the dessert were top notch.
It was hard to get a hold of the restaurant itself to make the reservation but my friend finally figured it out.
This is definitely a special occasion restaurant so you will definitely spend $$ but it is worth it if you like a great dining experience.
Very disappointed!! I'm Cantonese, Chinese-American to be exact and the value for the food was way overpriced for what you get. We spent $300. I had way more expectations for the restaurant. Only good thing was the cute guy server and the ambience. Overall, way overrated!
The food, ambience and service were amazing! When we arrived for our 8pm reservation, although our table was ready, the hostess asked if we wanted to grab a drink at the bar first and we stayed at the bar for 30 minutes without anyone bothering us. The bartender even gave us free shots for our anniversary.
When we were seated, a sake expert came over and helped us choose a delicious sake. Everyone was so friendly. We decided to do the fixed price tasting menu and everything was unbelievably good. Best meal we've had in Vegas in a long time. The crispy duck and sea bass were so fresh and tasty.
The ambience was top notch. It's dark and sexy with great music and perfect for a date night. We will return every time we're in Vegas.
We really liked the ambiance, very intimate and cozy... The food portions were generous, we were very satisfied with the quality and the quantity... Also, the service was impecable, everybody knew their stuff pretty well... The experience is worth the money...
I love the ambiance and vibe at Hakkasan, very trendy and sexy. My group of five had dinner reservations and ran a little late due to the long walk from the casino lobby to the restaurant but they accommodated us regardless. I noted that the restaurant was completely filled as this was a Saturday night dining experience. It was our first time dining here and the food was exceptional. We ordered the vegetarian dim sum platter and the regular dim sum platter for starters. The roasted Chilean seabass with Chinese honey was absolutely the best seabass dish we've ever had!
The Hakka cocktail along with the fine selections of Japanese whiskey made for a great dining experience. The Japanese whiskey flights are a must if you want a sampling of the great ones that are hard to find in the retail consumer market. I recommend the "Here to Stay" consisting of Nikka Taketsuru, Hibiki Harmony, Yamazaki 12yr, Hakushu 12yr but if you can splurge go for the "Elevated Experience". The desserts are a must since you cannot find these anywhere else. We had the Caramel Passion and the Black Sesame and Chocolate Dumplings. You can skip the dumplings for dessert - a little weird in flavor for our group.
Service was exceptional, from the hostess to the waiter as there no lag in waiting from time of ordering our food to delivery. The cocktails seemed to take a little longer but expected since they're crafted. Overall, this was the best dining experience we've ever had in Las Vegas.
We were there for birthday celebration. Fantastic food and service- thanks! The only issue was that they didn't check us in under my reservation so I received a no show note from open table. Please update the system as we were there for our party of five. Thanks!
I took my boyfriend here for a date night in Vegas and for the first time ever, he was INCREDIBLY impressed. The food was incredible! The service was fantastic as well. Our server had a great sense of humor and professionalism, as well as the sommelier was super knowledgable and helped us to pair our meal perfectly. I will visit again and will recommend the restaurant to everyone. It was delicious and a great environment to have a trendy, romantic dinner.
