Upscale Chinese stile ( probably not 100% authentic) food in super-modern and cool setting. The food was good, the service is polite, but probably a bit cold. The restaurant's ambience is superb. I would probably made it all 5 stars if I did not go to Koi the night before. Somehow, Koi surpassed it for me by all points. Still ,Hakkasan is definitely worth it. One thing I would change is to remove the guy lurking in the men's bathroom and handing you a towel, when plenty of them are available. It might be a high stile to have a bathroom attendant, but for me it feels almost like an invasion into my privacy.
The food wasn’t impressive at all
Food wasn’t good enough for the price !!! That’s all I can say !
I love this restaurant! Amazing fusion selection and ambiance.
It wasn't what I was expecting, the food wasn't over the top and very pricey, I was disappointed for my first trying it.
Booked a meal for 7 people in Hakkasan Las Vegas for my 30th Birthday celebration. Although I could not fault the food, the services on the night was extremely poor (this may be because we were a group of 7 and the service charge was included on the bill automatically), our server was borderline rude to everyone at the table and was very unhelpful when taking our order. The experience was very uncomfortable through out the evening. Having visited quite a few restaurants over my week stay in Las Vegas, both with top quality food and customer service, Hakkasan will be at the bottom of my list to recommend to family and friends.
Amazing food, attentive wait staff, just a bit pricey even for Vegas. Try the mousse desert.
Staff was lacking
Our family of 4 ordered 10 dishes to share. All of them were amazingly delicious. The service was excellent and the restaurant is beautiful! Would highly recommend!
Excelente lugar, comida y servicio
I was very disappointed in my dining experience at their Vegas location. They made us wait over 30 minutes for our table & were not very helpful or accommodating. I will not be going to back that location.
Went for my birthday and it was amazing!!! If you enjoy asain cuisine, this is a must!
Good food but overpriced, service is just ok
Really great meal. Lovely food. Our server was good. Fire alarm was going off during dinner which was distracting. No acknowledgement of a friends special birthday which was disappointing. Would definitely return though. Rib eye beef in merlot was standout dish.
Good food but service is extremely slow and not attentive..... Would take a long time to come take the order or to serve....
Service was excellent. Tasting menu was great way to sample a variety of the menu offerings. Terrific drink menu.
The food was amazing and we were excited to enjoy our meal. Unfortunately when we arrived at our 10pm reservation the server immediately told us we had 10 minutes to order before the kitchen closed. It made our choices rushed and our experience pretty crappy - especially considering the price point (which I am normally fine paying for great food and service!). In the end I was pretty bummed.
The wine pairing is a lie. We did the wine pairing with our tasting menu, and there wasn't a dessert wine, wtf?
Rich our server was fantastic and could not be more helpful to a very indecisive group. We went for one of the set menu options and every dish was out of this world! It was my second visit to a Hakkasan restaurant (last one was Dubai) and it lived up to expectations at the one in Las Vegas. It was an amazing meal and also the little extra of the birthday dessert too was a lovely surprise.
Mongolian beef, sea bass and pak choy over the top delicious!
We’ve eaten in London twice and New York. This seems to be missing something- elsewhere , the food was exciting, and amazing at times. Here, it is above average, which for Hakkasan, is mediocre.
I really enjoyed dining at Hakkasan. The cocktails were especially creative and the food was beyond fresh. The seabass was cooked to perfection and exceeded my expectations. The ambiance made for a very elegant dining experience and is definitely worth the splurge during a visit to Las Vegas. I’ll definitely be back again. I was a tad disappointed in the sticky rice dessert but other than that, everything else was superb.
Service by service was questionable. Served dried up food but the manager Laura was great.
Service under par. Mediocre to poor food. One dish (king crab) was so overcooked it was sendt back. Very disappointing experience.
Very friendly waiters
Food and service were great the music was super loud and it was very difficult to have a conversation. Not a great choice for business.
From the moment we sat down I had a feeling this was going to be a disaster. I am a frequent Miami Beach customer and know the menu and food quite well. After being seated it took the waiter 10 minutes to come and introduce himself and offer us water. It then took another 15 minutes just to deliver the water and bring us menus. We ordered cocktails which are always delicious and ordered the vegetarian menu, which we always order. The waiter asked if we had any allergies and we said yes we both have shellfish allergies. Of course this was no problem and again we said shellfish and we also don’t eat any meat, pork or chicken that’s why we ordered vegetarian. Our dinner started arriving pretty fast and smelled delicious. The vegetarian dim sum arrived with the accompanying sauces. After the waiter dropped the beautiful dim sum I took one that is usually a mushroom and took one bite and knew it was shrimp. I then took a closer look and saw roe, fish eggs, on the other pieces and knew this was not good. I always carry Benadryl with me and an Epi pen in case this ever happens. I have never eaten shrimp before and immediately felt my throat getting very itchy and uncomfortable. I told my husband what it was and I ran away from the table to the bathroom to give myself a shot and a Benadryl. The waiter was apologetic but not enough that it seemed like he cared. When we asked to start the meal over he didn’t think it was important enough to switch the plates and chopsticks. I was shocked and appalled. I asked for the manager who reset the meal and as soon as the vegetarian dim sum came I knew I wasn’t feeling well enough to eat and sit for this meal. I excused myself again to get fresh air, which is impossible in a Las Vegas hotel, and the meal was given to us gratis. I was extremely shocked that the chef did not come out to apologize or check in. Never returning again!! A simple apology goes a long way!!
It’s my fifth time dining at Hakkasan Las Vegas, great authentic southern Chinese food with a touch of fusion presentation! Love it! I wish I can try their other locations around the world as well!
Waited for two hours with only 2 dishes coming out
Though part of a high-end restaurant chain, the Las Vegas location of Hakkasan inside the MGM Grand, is uniquely Las Vegas. The menu is very different from the Miami Beach location inside the Fontainbleu. Four of us were there for a business dinner so we thought we were being overzealous in ordering four different entrees and the Prawn Fried Rice (also an entree). We ate everything. The portions are small, and the prices are excessively high. But the Crispy duck was the best duck I've ever tasted. The Mongolian beef was acceptable but did not have a lot of seasoning. The Spicy Prawns were amazing but the order contained 5 or 6 pieces of shrimp in a cream-based spicy sauce. The Sweet and Sour Pork with Pomegranate was exceptional but there were under ten pieces of breaded and fried pork bits.
Everything was wonderful. The only problem for me was the incense that was burning in the restaurant was so overwhelming, I could not stay and relax.
Food was delicious! Service was a bit inattentive and awkward. Didn’t really go over the menu and the menu can be a little overwhelming. Was also more quiet than expected. Food was really good though so I would def recommend!
Great food and free entry to da club
Everything was great
The food was wonderful and the service was excellent.
I love this place. The service is always very friendly. I've tried a few of the dinner options and never been disappointed.
The food was the best Chinese I’ve ever had. The crispy duck salad and the rib eye were delicious. I will definitely be back.
