About this restaurant

  • Romantic
  • Innovative
Our speciality "Motsunabe" is a hot pot originating in Hakata(Fukuoka) that uses the small intestine of a cow as its main ingredients. Today, it is cherished all across Japan for being a hearty and economical meal that also makes a great companion for sake. The soup is loaded with collagens and savory flavor of motsu spreads in your mouth with every chewy bite. To finish up your hot pot, try Champon ramen or Zosui rice soup.

It was a very bad experience. It was a poorly managed store and it showed in the service. Will not be returning.

Amazing food but service can be a little slow. We arrived 10 minutes late one time and our reservation was almost cancelled so we did not get a seat until 1 hour later.

Small restaurant hidden away behind large gates. I came here because I was looking for a restaurant that had opening for a large group on short notice. I booked it around 3pm for a 7pm gathering. Open table indicated they had an opening so I jumped on it. Food was good for the price. It's not the best sushi I've had but at that low price it's a good deal. I would definitely come back in the future of I have now sushi cravings.

I went to the St. Marks location with two friends. One of them had been here and highly recommended. The hot pot was amazing! They also add noodles after you are done with the meat. The noodles were also phenomenal; better than most places' ramen. The broth is to die for. Will go there again soon to have some hot pot w/ sake.

The food is good, but there's only one server who serves 5 tables/20 people. The speed is really slow.

Hakata collagen hot pot is a must try. I love their mentaiko omelette. The restaurant is pretty tiny. Make sure you have reservation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. One waitress served the entire small restaurant, but this was not a problem. She impressed us as she met all our requests without a hitch, despite having to wait on all the other tables. We enjoyed the bibimbap, pancake, squid legs, and hot pot with pork belly. Definitely will go back. It's all cash, no credit cards.

The pig feet hot pot is simply fantastic. Can't love it more. The service there is superb too. They will patiently help you cook the hot pot. The only downside is the space. If they have bigger tables, the experience would be flawless.
