Our ever-changing, always-growing wine list features special wines that mostly come from our local Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez and Santa Maria Valley wine country but also features French, Italian and Spanish varietals.

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will guide you through the menu featuring our farm-to-table selections and nightly specials to help you choose the perfect meal. Your server will then help you choose the perfect wine to pair with your menu selection.

The food taste good however, the portions are too large for one person to eat. The Chicken Parmesan was superb, but it's size was huge and enough for two people to eat. I ended up taking the extra home. try cutting down on portion size, and serve food moderately.

We celebrated my husband's birthday there last night. The room is beautiful. The staff was very pleasant. Stephanie was our waiter and was very attentive. The food was incredible. First courses were great. The fries are like none you've ever tasted. The potato soup was divine. For main dishes I had the angel pasta with shrimps which was wonderful. 2 others had the scallops which was also an excellent dish. The steak was perfect. A Creme brûlée birthday surprise was brought out to hubby. Soooooo good. We all gave it a 5 star dinner rating.

Not busy so service should have been fine. They kept forgetting to bring things we asked for and did not check up on us. Lobster bisque was too salty and the chicken parm was bland.

There was cold air blowing on a cold night. We had to move tables. But perhaps it was because they tried to seat us by the door even though the place was mostly empty. Food was so so in flavor. Service was excellent.

I visit Solvang at least twice a year every year. We normally eat at the Hadsten every time we visit. The food selection is great and the quality vs the price is hard to beat. I love that the ingriedients are (for the most part) locally sourced. The wine list is also extensive and I feel it covers a wide array of budgets and tastes.

We bought a house in the Valley two years ago and this year, decided to do a restaurant tour and sample all the dining the Valley has to offer. We almost missed this one, but are so happy we didn’t! They have a nice local wine and beer selection. We started with the charcuterie plate and it was such a great value. Five sizable chunks of premium cheese (on par with the cheeses you can buy at The Lucky Hen Larder - not just average run of the meal cheese) bread toasts, prosciutto, dried nuts and berries and a delicious fig jam. All for only $16!! My husband had the short ribs and I had the Kobe burger with bacon and shropshire blue with a side of the house made chips. Hubby’s short ribs were delicious, the Kobe burger was awesome and the chips were really great. We shared the bananas foster dessert which could have fed 6 people. It was super delicious. Too bad we were getting full by the time it came. We asked about locals night and learned they do 20% off for locals on Tues, and on Thursdays, locals can get 20% off on wines. Our waiter was super and even though it was Friday, gave us the locals discount. The dining room is a pleasant space and was nicely decorated for the holidays. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely return!
