Ordered a rib eye bone-in $47. Was maybe a 1/2" thick, ordered medium rare, and it came raw. Wife had chicken, and said she could make it better at home.
Best steak I’ve ever had! Will be back soon!
We didn’t stay. We showed up for our reservation and was immediately taken to our table by the bar. We sat for 15 minutes without any acknowledgement what-so-ever from the staff. We left and will not be back. I can tolerate a lot, but NO service and being ignored is NOT something I will pay $ for.
Overall very good,we had breakfast there and the eggs were delicious. The service was good.
Delicious meal and wonderful service. Wonderful view of Mountainbrook from the rooftop bar. We will be back and soon.
Food and ambience were great. Service is consistently bad. Likely due to understaffing of wait staff. Don’t come hungry.
Great food, prompt service, quite and relaxing atmosphere, not crowded.
Overall very good.
Our service was excellent. The overall staff from the hostess to the wait staff was very friendly. They cooked my mom a special breakfast not on the brunch menu the day we went for Easter which was very kind She wanted a simple Americano breakfast with eggs and bacon and it arrived and was hot and tasty. Excellent cocktails as well. I would definitely return . I would like to have cocktails in the courtyard. Fun outside atmosphere.
Flatbread 1/5-burned and over seasoned
Honey chicken 3/5-ok, but nothing special
Butter cake 0/5-overcooked, tastes like jiffy cornbread.
Food was extremely salty. Couldn't eat it. Honey chicken is not an easy dish to eat because of the plating choice. Waitress never came by so could not ask for a knife. There were so many potatoes and broth under chicken, it was like trying to eat soup. Was a very disappointing birthday dinner. Absolutely not worth the money.
We enjoyed having my boyfriends birthday dinner here it was nice
Delightful lunch on the patio
Your chicken pot pie is fantastic
This our favorite dining restaurant. I ordered the Filet Mignon medium well and it came out perfectly cooked. I love the sweet onion and sauce they use to plate it, so delicious! My husband ordered the fish selection for today and it was the Red Snapper and it was delicious! We also ordered the Bayou La Batre Shrimp and again delicious. The flavor was amazing. This place is our go to for dinner when we want to eat out. The staff is wonderful!
Birthday get together. Waitress very attentive and nice. Food was good but had expected better based on reputation. Patio was nice with an awesome vibe. Interior seating dated and more of a conference room dining feel. Quirky carpet does not make that room interesting. Should have the purple chandeliers and other touches to increase boho vibe
Very sloppy service. Waited 20 minutes for someone to get our drink order. And during the rest of the evening the server was not attentive. Food was bland. The charcuterie board looked and tasted like lunchables. Entrees also fell very flat. Expected way more from this restaurant. Will not be back.
Happy hour is from 4-7 pm Monday -Thursday. Killer Brussels Sprouts and great wings with fresh lime slices ...yum. Oh a great happy hours prices on drinks.
Steak was very under cooked, but staff worked very hard cooking another one, but took some time. I don’t eat if my wife is not eating, so my food was cold by the time her’s arrived cooked correctly. Waitress also mixed up our wines. Other than those things it was a good night. Waitress was very nice and helpful, food ended up very good. Not first time eating her and will not be the last.
Bland food. Unattended service. Blah.
Surf& turf was a little blend.
The starters were just ok, the main dishes were better (my steak was slightly under done), the chocolate cake dessert looks more like a hamburger patty with ketchup (raspberry sauce) taste was just ok. We felt as though the tables were not fully socially distance, we could hear practically everything said at the table next to us. Overall for the value and lack of direction when we arrived, we were completely underwhelmed.
The food here was really terrible - and expensive. We each ordered the "fresh" catch and it was dry and overcooked, served with damp risotto and broccoli for I think $30+ each. We asked for bread and were told they didn't have any bread because of COVID (what does that even mean?) and brought us a saucer of "rice crackers" instead. Lots of good dining options in this area - definitely skip this one.
Took about an hour from time of ordering our meal till we received the food, which was neither hot nor cold when it came out. Got stuck at a table by the bar and there were too many people there without masks.
I’ve eaten lunch at Habitat Social and had very positive experiences. My first dinner experience ...not so much. My husband likes his steak more done than most. He ordered his filet medium well. The steak was so rare he sent it back, which he never does. They brought it back and it really wasn’t cooked any more than it was. The wait staff didn’t even question it when they took his plate and his steak had two bites taken. My brick pressed chicken was so dry it was barely edible. We ordered bread pudding to salvage the visit and it was cold when it arrived. And they were out of the beer we ordered. The atmosphere was amazing, but this time the food was not.
They did not have the first two bottles of wine we selected. The restaurant had a large party and their wine selection was almost depleted. ALL of the food was brought out at the same time (appetizer, salad and entrees). Finally, as we were eating the meal, the wine was brought out. The restaurant did not give me credit for eating there (with OpenTable). I had to apply for my 100 points later. All in all, a bad experience. The food was good, however.
This was a good restaurant. The food was excellent and I had a really good Old Fashioned (actually 2!!). The restaurant flows to the bar and then to an outside bar area. It was too cold for most of the bar patrons to be outside so the noise from the bar was a factor in our total experience (negatively).
Don’t usually order deserts, but warm butter cake was 5 stars. Steak frites were tender, greens are great. Nice quiet dining room.
Good but pricey. Very good service. Grateful for Christmas opening.
Christmas lunch. Not crowded. Food was good but a little pricey.
We were looking forward to Christmas Buffett as we have been a regular there for 3 yrs. This year no Buffett and a fixed menu. We ended up ordering off of the hotel menus. Very disappointed.
Looked for restaurant open on Christmas day.Nice menu and wine selections. Will go back for dinner.
We had appetizers on the terrace at sunset, went inside for a very good dinner, then had coffee and dessert out by the fire pit. Stephanie was our server, and she was very attentive. Overall, great experience.
Bar service was slow, but our server Keylin was awesome, she gets 5 stars
Excellent shrimp and grits, trout, and flatbread. Waitress was very goog
Great experience. Kara was fantastic and made up for our disappointment when our preferences for entree were unavailable.
We were able to get outside dining on a beautiful day which added to our overall fantastic experience. While the food was a little pricey, it was delicious and the service was exceptional. We're definitely going back for another visit soon. Order the bottle instead of individual mimosas. ;-)
We always enjoy Habitat. The food is delicious and they have a great wine selection.
Food was fantastic!!!
Unfortunately, they just dropped the ball. The service was terrible. We waited 45 minutes for our appetizer and then the bill had things we didn’t order on it. We’ve eaten here before but this experience was just bad.
We came from the parking lot and climbed the stairs up to the restaurant level only to discover that the entrance was blocked at the top. Stupid!!! There needed to be a block at the bottom as well. Did not appreciate the thoughtlessness
