Habana - Costa Mesa
From craft cocktails to a carefully curated menu, Habana never disappoints. Reasonable price point and creative dishes, very cool decor. We make it a regular in the rotation. Make sure to get a res as its almost always crowded.
Great service and great food. Marty our server was on point and very accommodating. One of the best servers I've ever had.
As usual food and service was great. The music was a little loud on the patio as we were seated right beneath a speaker. Will be back again. Thanks for a great evening.
We had not been to Habana for some time but have always enjoyed the food here. We made reservations since we had Phantom of the Opera at 7:30p at Segerstrom. Needless to say the table they saved for our reservation should have been shared with others since the table was behind the outside door next to seating from others that basically sitting on our laps. The table felt like it should not have even been a table for a dinner. There was absolutely no space and it felt like we were sitting with others at our table for two. The food definitely made up for the seating, food is always so good and our server was attentive as well. Love the food, love the ambiance but the next time your customers make a reservation make sure they get a table that is a table....seating was definitely disappointing for a reservation.
It was quite noisy, menu needs more options. The food was delicious and I will be returning. Love the spectrum Havana experience much more
We were very disappointed. We ordered ceviche. It was bland and the shrimp was tough. The plantain chips were stale and tasteless. The patio has a great vibe but the food was very below par and service wasn’t great.
Ahi tuna fabulous
Loved this place! Found it on accident. Food was amazing! Pablo was a great server. Super attentive and knowledgeable about all the food. Overall great experience.
Great Sunday brunch. Live music, it's energetic and popping!
The service and food were great, but the noise level on the patio was extremely high. I couldn't even hear the people I was at the table with. Maybe inside was more quiet, but outside it was way too loud. I'll definitely come back, our meal was delicious and the staff was wonderful.
A friend referred us to hear...great place to meet up.
Great patio area, decent drinks, decent food. Overpriced but free valet in the parking lot if you show your receipt to the valet.
Great drinks and food! We experienced the effects of a nearby earthquake during service, but the staff kept their composure and were wonderful!
Delicious food! We came as a group of 6 with one kiddo and our server was THE BEST! She split our bill so we could all pay separately (which I know is super annoying to servers) but she did it with a smile, got our orders right too! Great place. Will be coming back again for a date night! Ambiance is perfect.
The best mojitos in Orange County! Love the food and the flan is very light but heavy in great taste!
We love Habana
They have a 2-hour limit per reservation, which I have never encountered. I only received notice of it the day before and at that point it was too late to get the group of people to change plans last minute. I hoped that maybe it was a restriction if you weren't actively ordering, running up a hefty bill, but guess not. We were ordered appetizers, dinners and had finished up our second round of drinks when we were uncomfortably reminded that we had reached our time-limit. The food and drinks were pricey. The ahi tuna was delicious, but the sides on the plate were weird. The potatoes that came with it tasted like crayon shavings. The potato balls were okay. Ever heard of Porto's? Those taste better and run at a 1/3rd of the price. The "salsa" on them also tasted like Tapatio straight out of the bottle. The ambiance is adorable. I loved the decor and I get why people like going. It's "Instagram worthy." The drinks were good. I really enjoyed the mojito. I would have gone back for that, but with this weird time limit thing, you really can't enjoy your moment. I've never been kicked out of a restaurant before. So odd. If I were to go back, it would be to try their brunch, but not for dinner.
We sat outside on the patio which would be improved by lowering the volume of their (excellent) music. Wait staff is attentive & it took just 10-15 minutes to bring our entrees.
Great food, drinks, & service. My only complaint was the amount of flies and birds in the outside area. One bird almost flew straight into my daughter's head while we were sitting at the table.
Yes, I would recommend dining here and making reservations.
Great service. Great food.
We dined outside and the area was very comfortable sitting under the arbor. Unfortunately the noise level was quite loud and we had difficulty hearing each other with all the noise. May try indoors next time. The food, service by Michelle was excellent
I will return again
Amazing restaurant vibe, and great service. Would definitely go back.
Food was good, nice buffet, but parking is a nightmare!
Holy cow!! Best brunch I’ve ever had. Food was awesome the service was great and the place is very chic. Guy playing the guitar was the cherry on top.
Food was great. Waitress was awesome. My endless mimosas ( not included in $49, an additional $22) was never empty. No wiggle room they really pack you in. But again the food is great. Everything was yummy.
The reason why I am going giving a 3/5 stars is because all throughout the night, the servers
Always a great time - love this place. Good for business lunches and group meetings. Wasn’t that busy and we were able to hear one another.
Nice ambience, but it’s pretty hidden on the back so a bit hard to find. Kick-back feel. Music too loud, but great service and good food.
Everything was lovely
Lovely and fun ambiance, the patio dining is wonderful & perfect for summertime dining, gracious hosts and lovely waiter Sam who gave excellent customer service. Recommend the El Viejo Ropa and Churrasco.
The food and drinks are always good here but this time the service, not so much.
We went for Father's Day brunch and it was almost stressful. The tables were jammed together, there were not pathways to get to the buffet areas, the service was mediocre at best, and this was for a $65/pp. The food was really delicious though.
Every time I din here it’s alway amazing we didn’t wait, waitress was quick and kept checking on us, food, drinks, music and staff was fantastic. Thank you ❤️
Went for brunch and it was fantastic - parking is difficult but it was worth it!
So many options and all of it was amazing - favorites include the ceviche and the paella. Atmosphere was great - next time I'm going to try and request a table outside, because that seemed like the best place to be.
I took my husband there for brunch, but I don't think I will go back again. The hostess rude, the bosboy had the (I don't want to be here) attitude. We tried to enjoyed the music and the mojitos. The waiter was nice but for sure the others ruin his tip ☺️
Food was great, ambience was spectacular. Service was mediocre at best, cocktails seemed weak, and price was very steep at $49 a person
25th wedding anniversary and they made our experience amazing from complimentary wine, champagne, and dessert with a sparkler - fantastic!!! We hadn’t been back in years, and that will never happen again. Booking for next month as we speak! Food was flavorful and delicious, and bravo to Galvin (wonderful server and service)!!!
The food was excellent and the Mai Tai was outstanding. Our server Gavin made excellent recommendations and provided great service
Overall, a fabulous experience! I will definitely be back! Loved the outdoor patio and the ambience! Food was heavenly!
