We were in Fort Worth for the weekend, and after seeing the reviews of the H3 Ranch, we knew we had to go. Luckily I had made a reservation on Opentable as we were seated immediately, whereas those without reservations had to wait an hour for a table. Service was excellent, waiter was polite, food came quickly, probably best steak I've ever eaten. It was definitely not cheap with 2 steaks, 2 beer and nothing else running almost $100.
Fantastic place to eat. The steak was awesome, but the Guacamole was some of the best I have ever had. we were treated great and the food was awesome, what more can anyone ask for when having a great dinner.
Food was absolutely amazing! The decor is beautiful and the experience is a must. We were not greeted when entering the restaurant and our hostess was rude. She did not speak to us and has poor etiquette. The server was nice.
Atmosphere is fun and “authentic” cowboy. Good food, good service. Great place to dine at the Stockyards.
Went on a Tuesday evening and had reservations. Thought that would get us in the main service area, but it didn’t. We were sat over on the bar side. Extremely loud. They lacked service staff on the bar side. Took a while for our order to be taken and an extended period of time to get our food. Hopefully this was an isolated case since this is one of our favorite dining locations.
Decorations were spot on, a bit noisy, service was good and food was not as good as expected
Best food in Ft. Worth! Our waiter, Tony was outstanding! Perfect for date nights.
The steaks are amazing and seasoned perfectly
This was our second visit and it was excellent. Food was terrific. Atmosphere was perfect for a Friday night.
Great brunch. Not crowded. Awesome service and very quick!
The waitress was absolutely great. The environment was a bit load but still nice. Would tank this establishment much higher if not for the over priced food and the fact that we had to chase water bugs away from table during our entire visit. Even have one land on me as we was walking out. Management definitely needs to address the bug issue.
We have dined their many times and it has gone down hill, I specified that it was a very special anniversary and they literally did nothing
Very good service and good taste food
Great food!! Great people! Great service!! Always eat there at least once when we are in town!
H3 is still one of my favorite Ft. Worth restaurants to take a small group when we are looking for an authentic steakhouse. What's not to love about a great steakhouse in the historical Stockyards district of Fort Worth that has hardwood floors, saddles for some barstools, and an open kitchen with wood grill? The portions are plentiful, but you still need to start out with the sweet thigh appetizer!
Always have enjoyed myself each time I go to H3, food is great, the service is wonderful, nice atmosphere, rustic feel. This visit we were 30 minutes late due to an accident on the highway. They held our table for us. If you are looking for casual upscale, this is a great place to go.
Perfect place to pretend you’re a cowboy. Saddle shaped bar stools, great food and drink, and love the humor in the various notices and signs. And more stuffed critters than you can shake a stick at!
Great service and best prime rib that I can remember! This is a busy place so get a reservation but it is worth the wait either way.
Food is amazing!
Excellent!!!!!!!! Will be back as soon as we can. Loved it
Great location in the FT. Worth stockyards. Steakhouse with great steaks, great service, great ambiance.
A favorite, though mostly for dinner. This time it was for lunch, which meant the sliced smoked sirloin was not an option. But, the ribs were perfect, as was the Margarita.
Great ribeye steak cooked perfectly. Service was fine. But being seated in the bar area wasn't great. Way too noisy!! Couldn't even have a nice conversation because of it. Do not want to sit in the bar area ever again. Otherwise we love H3!
Food was overpriced for the quality. Waiters stood around watching game rather than tending to tables. And acted as if none of them cared to be there.
This meal was our second visit (both times were Valentine’s dinners). The entire experience was fantastic.
The only critique was the sides my wife and I ordered. We both had the pan-fried potatoes. They were quarter-cut potatoes fried with onions and bacon. After our meals, we both realized we left most of our potatoes on our plates. We both thought they tasted bitter, and had an almost soggy texture to them.
I won’t say they were “bad”, they just did not appeal to either of us. We will stick to the tried-and-true loaded bake potato next time.
And there will be a next time!
Valentine's Day...... We were promptly seated when we arrived. That's the good news. The food was sub-par. I ordered the smoked sirloin which was tough and grisly. The salad was a salad. It was good enough but nothing special as was the baked potato. My husband ordered the appetizer platter for his dinner. The tacos were great but that's where it ends. The chicken thighs were overcooked as were the ribs. The nacho chips were very plain and not good at all. Our server was ok. There weren't many tables occupied but we still had to wait for refills. With all the choices at the Stockyards we won't be back.
Service was great, but food was average and little exspinsve
The food was delicious. We both had perfectly cooked steaks and great desserts. Our waitress was incredibly friendly. It was a very enjoyable time all around. The only problem was being seated with the sun in our eyes during the first half of our meal. Still, it was an amazing experience.
Took my wife there for Valentine's day. Without a doubt we overdressed (we wore business casual) and the attire was more jeans and boots casual. But none-the-less. Service was excellent. They accommodated our every request. It was quiet enough where we could hear each other no problem...but it was 4:15 in the afternoon. Nice atmosphere, very cowboy (it is in the Stockyards after all). Drinks came out quickly, salads came out timely and food came out after the salad. A bit dim lit for my liking but not terribly dark. Steaks; you could taste the woodgrill! yummy. It was a good experience.
Dinner at H3 was excellent. The food was delicious and the wait staff was on their toes. The atmosphere was energetic and happy. We will definitely go back!!
Best steak and service in Fort Worth for the money.
We had an out-of-town guest who had never been to DFW and we wanted to show him a good ole' Texas time, and this restaurant was perfect! The ambience is cowboy western without being too touristy, and the steaks and margaritas were delicious. The service was absolutely perfect also! My husband and I will definitely be back to H3!
We had dined at H3 previously and choose it for this occasion as a result. This was a casual get together on a Sunday afternoon with friends. I cannot say that the food was 'bad' but it just was not anything to write home about. Nothing definitive just same old, same old. We do like the atmosphere (how can you not in Cowtown!) and our servers were attentive but not overbearing. Overall we had a great catch-up with friends but I think that next time we will head to a different location.
H3 is always the place to go for a piece of meat. Can’t come to Ft. Worth without stopping at H3 for prime rib.
Smoked steak was cooked to perfection. Everything tasted delicious. Great food with a great price.
Great for Brunch!
Food was excellent & Kristina was a great server☺
Great place to dine in . Love the food and ambience. The drinks are great.
Absolutely enjoyed our Sunday brunch. I live for the flapjacks & coffee. My sister & husband enjoyed their food selections also. The staff is always pleasant & accommodating. Highly recommend!
