   Our steak was cooked perfectly. The house salad was average in that it was made with iceberg lettuce, a few grape tomatoes, some onion slivers and radishes. Ranch potatoes were basically fried potato chunks that were reheated in some bacon fat. Baked beans were decent, but nothing special. Tasted like canned baked beans that were doctored up a little. Service was exceptional. Our server was helpful and kind. Basically, it was an average steak house.

   This is a must do at the Stockyards! Its nothing particularly fancy but the steaks and prime Rib are to die for. The wood grilled technique makes it a notch above the rest! The dishes are plentiful and reasonably priced!

   Our recent visit with out of town guests was something of an expensive disappointment! First, best reservation was 4:45pm (nothing else available between 4:45 and 8:30 pm, even though made several days in advance) The four of us ordered three different entrees. We were seated immediately in the back room (on semi-padded folding chairs - surprising for an upscale steakhouse). Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. The bread was tasty and the margaritas delicious. The dinner salads were good. The medium rare prime rib orders were surprisingly difficult to cut and the corn was almost too over cooked to eat (had to request butter). The ribs were too tough to gnaw the meat off the bones. The redeeming meal was the excellent filet. This diner also opted for the Mexican corn and couldn’t quit commenting about how good it was. The valet parking was also a high note.

   This restaurant was not my choice for a girlfriend's trip to the historic FW Stock Yards, but yet it was one of our dinner locations. It's a tourist trap. Dirty. Ripped chair seats. Poor attention to detail in every aspect - food, service, management and this was a Thursday night. Our wait person never returned to check on our order. The pork tacos were "off" and inedible. The "house" salad was 50% greens & veggies with 50% of the bowl filled with salad dressing. The menu calls the salad generous, and I would call it a weak representation. No on The wait person did remove the tacos from the check, but no apology, no anything else, no concern. Staff training including hostess station would enhance this restaurant's performance.

   We really enjoyed the H3 experience for the most part. My only issue was the steak. Great cut, but asked for a medium well and it came out medium at best and had to ask them to cook it a little longer. Otherwise, it was very tasty and great service!

   Our waiter was wonderful. Unfortunately the woman who brought our food was less than friendly. She didn’t want to be there and it showed.

   A wonderful place to eat before the rodeo. The food was delicious. The pork tacos are exceptional, and Natalie's service was first rate. All around a great experience!

   It's been 3 years since I was at H3. Since the new owners everything has gone down hill. Ordered a Ribeye steak it came out as thin as a chip steak and burnt to a crisp. Server tried to tell us the steak shrinks down that small and that's just the cut we ordered. Other tables we seen got a normal size steak.

    Took our son here to try their steaks. He was not disappointed! He got a juicy, perfectly cooked filet that he said “melted in your mouth”. My salmon was delicious and my husband enjoyed his quesadillas. Fun place to go, love the buffalo heads! Our server was so attentive and great…and she had a lot of tables to service. The only negative I have is that we had a reservation and wanted a booth but couldn’t have one at 4:30 because “staff didn’t get there until 5pm”. Poor excuse.
