H3 Ranch at the Stockyards Hotel Ratings and Reviews
If it's got to be a steak or prime rib, you need search no further. The H3's location in the atmospheric Stockyards Hotel just adds to the character. Servers are attentive but not overbearing, and they certainly know their stuff. Meals are filling with no fluff.conversation is animated, but the ambience is conducive to private conversation as well. A quiet steakhouse would be creepy, right? Unfortunately no room for dessert , but the descriptions would make most people drool.
Came in from California. Incredible food! Steak was cooked perfectly and the queso was to DIE for. Get their combo queso and salsa to share. Their salsa is a Smokey homemade goodness. Large plates (pretty much all their entrees) are definitely shareable. Their special is the margaritas, but they do have a full bar.
I was a bit dispointed with the meals. We went there for Steak as the restaurant was touted “voted best Steak House’” I’d been to 2 really good steak houses in the past week so I was expecting more of the same, sadly not the case.
It was certainly the most expensive and a distant third for value and quality.
Not a great review I know and compounded by the fact that no one bothers to ask if our meals were ok.
I don’t live in the US but love eating there every time I come over.
We eat here 2-3 times per year. Every meal is simply perfect. The quality of the food and the ambience are always on point. Located in the historic Fort Worth stockyards the meal is just part of the experience. A must if you enjoy a dining experince thats a cut above.
We have dined at H3 in previous occasions. This time we brought friends who have never been to Fort Worth or the Stockyards so they could experience a real Texas steakhouse. We arrived 15-20 minutes earlier than our reservation and were seated promptly. Service was great, food was as ordered, and we enjoyed it all!
H3 never disappoints. I was in town for a last minuet get together with family and H3 was one of the first places that came to mind in the stockyards. Service was fantastic. Food was just as good. Tried the Salmon for the first time and it may be my new go to when. It having a steak. Keep up the great work H3
great food, good service, a little loud but not bad. We were seated near front doors to bar so every time the door was opened we had a gust of freezing wind hit us so ask to be seated away from door. I had the flaming tenderloin and it was excellent. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal and said it was very good.
Recently had dinner here with my wife. This was the first time we had dined here and we chose it due to it's location of being part of the stockyards.
Our steaks were very good along with the sides. Very good service and nice atmosphere. Highly recommend for a nice casual steak dinner in a neat neighborhood.
Giddy up and have the Guacamole as an appetizer (it's prepared at the table). "The Mexicali," is perfectly cooked sirloin with refried beans and 2 cheese enchiladas--awesome. The fish dishes are very good. Salads are all very fresh and well prepared. Noise level is fine for business lunches that I have had here. It is a great place to bring out of town business guests (even Dallasites) to show off the heritage of the Fort Worth Stockyards.
This was my second visit here . Really enjoyed my first visit and now have enjoyed my second visit as well . Went with teo people who had never been before and they really enjoyed their meal as well. I got the shrimp with rice another person have the roasted chicken with rice and sweet corn and another person had steak . The atmosphere is rustic and upbeat and vintage connected to the very lovely and old Stockyard hotel. I have never stayed but would like too! Our waitress was very accommodating and gave excellent service. We were there on a Monday evening around 8:15 pm. I would return again when I return to the stockyards.
