Great Father's day brunch at gypsy saloon! The food was delicious, service was awesome and the fun round table with sofa cushioned seats was a big hit with the kids! Will definitely go back and try dinner soon!
Always a great meal and a great time!!
The owner is very kind. Anne our waitress was AWESOME. Saturday brunch was delicious. It is all made to order, they will work to make you happy. Good food and drink specials.
Staff is super friendly. Kim the owner is usually there and is a sweet heart. Everyone makes you feel at home and is willing to go above and beyond to give you great service. The atmosphere is stellar and food is great.
Great food at a reasonable price. Service was terrific
Great food, great service, nice ambiance, all around great experience.
Always a great meal and a great time
The food is amazing, all my “men” were happy. My 9 year old ordered the octopus! My 18 year old and myself loved our lobster Mac and cheese and my hubby couldn’t even finish his full rack of ribs!! Delish!
Good food. Great service. Mother’s Day (busy) and stillgreat service.
Haven’t been in a while but the owner is kind and welcoming. The food was great.
there for a birthday celebration..our waiter was training another waitress so we had two hands on and they didn't miss a beat..very friendly and helpful..delicious food..owner stopped to say hello too
Good food but felt rushed to get seated because we were late and looking for parking. Park at one tower bridge
Such a cute little place and the Sunday brunch was excellent.
Stella Blu had permanently closed - which was a favorite special event couple's place for us. We decided to explore another restaurant under the same ownership ... and. we. chose. wisely! We will be back again soon. SO GOOD. I ordered ... and ate TWO desserts!
The owner was engaged and very friendly. She made good suggestions for what we should order.
I feel the service was better than the food. Our waitress was really nice and the service was very quick. They have a great menu which offers a little bit from every category, so I think I could have made a better choice food-wise. The calamari was good, but after that it was downhill for me. All in all, I would go again, but maybe for lunch and not dinner.
Food was delicious! Friendly and knowledgeable waiter. Noise level unacceptably high because bar area expanded to be contiguous to dining area. Difficult to have normal conversation. Although food was great, will not return.
Friends' lunch between appointments. It was wonderful! Service attentive but not overbearing. Food was delicious! Will return!
Love this little place, though it can get very noisy inside. This time, a Monday, it was fine even though most tables were filled (not the big one though). Probably has to do with how loud the music is, and it was low. We had fabulous service from Angel, and the food was delicious. All three of us would come again.
Everyone was so nice from making a reservation through leaving after our meal. The restaurant is beautiful and comfortable and the food was awesome!!!
I celebrated my 51st birthday with a party of 8. Everything was perfect. The live music was the icing on the cake. This is my favorite spot. That’s why I chose it for my birthday.
Good food and nice selection of food choices. A little on the pricey side.
We had Easter Brunch at Gypsy - our first visit. It's very cute and the menu options were varied. I loved the traditional Eggs Benedict! My family loved the sausage fried in pancake batter!! It is a small restaurant, so voices carry and we heard part of a conversation between employees (and owner?) that we didn't need to hear. Other than that, I thought it was great!
Great dinner. Had the lobster pasta dish which was a special. Very friendly environment that almost feels like home. Lots of regulars there but everyone gets treated with special attention. Looking forward to many return visits.
Staff was very kind and service was excellent. The beet salad was fine, but a little bland. The tuna steak entree tasted fishy, but was accompanied by several tasty asparagus spears and roasted tomatoes. We won’t be returning, especially for the $.
We were greeted by perhaps the most rude “hostess” I have ever encountered. My husband and I arrived before our friends. Clearly there were two of us, she asked if our whole party was there, I said no. We were 15 minutes early. She proceeded to tell me that 20 minutes after the reservation my table would be given away.
No hello, how are you? We waited at the bar, I tried to find another place to eat but things were booked, so we stayed. She approached again, asking if we were all present, AGAIN, I was standing with just my husband.
The rest of our party arrived. We sat, we ate. We took our sweet time at that table.
Turns out that “hostess “ is very well connected to this restaurant. We will never return to this establishment.
Love this place!!! Always have a great experience.
Great neighborhood restaurant and bar. Surprisingly excellent food!
Returned to this local gem solo after my wife and I first dined there Super Bowl weekend. We loved it!
This time all the Eagles decorations were replaced by Valentine’ Day regalia. Food was great, service excellent, EXCEPT I had ordered a pint of beer. When it was 1/2 full, I was asked if I wanted another! “No, thanks.” When it was down to 1/3, my server asked me again. NO THANKS. Then when I had 2 fingers left, he asked a third time. I said I would drink my water. Just too pushy and annoying, but not enough to keep me from returning.
Returned to Gypsy Saloon with my husband for a Valentine's Day dinner. We shared the Fried Calamari and the Caesar Salad. Delish starters! He had the NY Strip and I had Scallops. Both very tasty. The hostess and server were very friendly and we just enjoyed being in the hustle bustle of this warm, charming spot in West Conshy. My only complaint would be that since I was seated facing the kitchen door (which had a big window), the bright kitchen lights were in my eyes. No biggie, but it probably could be fixed with some nice decorative tint over the window to dim it down a bit... just saying. Overall, we heart Gypsy and the staff and will def be back!
I like the quirky ambiance of the restaurant. The service was excellent and I loved the tuna tartare appetizer and the flatbread appetizer. Four friends met and enjoyed the meal and talked for a long time. We were not rushed out and will certainly come back.
My absolute favorite restaurant. The food never disappoints and the owner is lovely - stops by every table to chat. Makes you feel like you’re at home.
What a warm and welcoming vibe! Great service! Loved the wine! Food was delish!
I took my two young children solo during lunch to watch the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl parade. We had a wonderful experience! They had a great special menu and were very kid friendly. It seems like a great place for lunch. I look forward to trying them out for dinner someday!
Brunch was amazing, I had the breakfast wrap and a ScrewDriver and I left feeling very full and satisfied. The other diners with me were just as happy and we will all definitely be returning.
The ambiance is always terrific with a lively bar and great seating. The cocktails were excellent as well. The food however was not terrific. We had a steak special that was a thin and somewhat tough cut and tuna tacos that were average at best. The best thing we ate that evening was the lobster mac N cheese.
We have been coming for years but it seems the food has gone down.
First time there and will definitely go back. Such a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. Felt at home and the food was outstanding.
Very nice environment. Service little slow, but not in hurry so had no issues with that. Very enjoyable date night meal
