The most amazing food and staff. We were celebrating our engagement and we had our pugs with us and weren't sure if they were dog friendly but they made sure to sit us far from anyone and were super accommodating. We were given champagne with raspberries in it as a complimentary drink to start off our date and then also were treated with amazing desserts. The food was to DIE for. Mouth watering. Drinks were also very unique and a must. The waitress we had was very bubbly and happy to serve us and made us very happy to be there. If you are in ATL Gypsy Kitchen is a must. The staff is very energetic and delightful and the scene is beautiful. Perfect date night.
Our server was excellent!
Impeccable service and awesome food!!! Will be back soon.
Delicious food and a great selection of tapas! So yummy and a great anniversary dinner!
Very nice upscale restaurant with cool atmosphere. They had a nice one man band when we went. Food and drinks were great.
The vibes, the drinks, and the ambiance were great. Our server Stephanie was also great. We got the scallops and Mushrooms w/ goat cheese toast as our appetizer. We didn’t not have to wait long at all for any of the food—only about 15-20 mins. We paid $18 for 3 small scallops, so not worth the price. The mushroom goat cheese toast was good. However when we got our entree which was the seafood paella, our shrimp were grossly undercooked—still grey and translucent. The flavor profile of the paella was good but undercooked. We got another one that was cooked perfectly and it came out in about 5 mins after we sent the original dish back. I ordered the seared duck breast, which was just OK. I never had it before so I was anxious to try it but I can’t say I would be in a rush to order again. The drinks were sooo good though. All in all, we would come back for the cute vibes, drinks and maybe a cheese and meat plate. But won’t eat here for dinner again!
Celebrated our daughters “13” birthday. Saturday afternoon, perfect because it wasn’t crowded and everything was perfect. They bartender created a beautiful mocktail and all enjoyed.
Nice Happy Hour deals for tapas and drinks. Service was a bit slow.
I usually love Gypsy Kitchen! This Friday I took my mom for her birthday and made reservations ahead of time. We typically go every year for her birthday and love the service and birthday experience. This Friday, the service was awful. Our server was very rude and hardly spoke to us or looked at us. She seemed annoyed to take our order and bring us water. We waited 20 min when we sat down for anyone to come up to us. Only people sitting outside at the time. She never mentioned the birthday (even though the hostess mentioned it to her). It rained on us outside and all over our food. The manager came out with umbrellas and was very sweet and sat us inside. Then, our server came back and moved us to a dirty table and didn’t offer us new food that had been rained on. She just brought us the check and don’t even ask if we needed anything else. Very unfortunate experience especially since we love this place.
All the tapas and wine were awesome! This is a big space that is great for large groups or parties. Sitting outside was a nice vibe!
Fantastic experience, once again
Good service but not the best place in Atlanta to get tapas. We ended up getting several types of tapas and enjoyed about half of them. Do NOT get the ahi tuna.
The ambiance and menu has changed I went years ago and was upset that it wasn’t the same. The food was mediocre and the vibe was different.
Abby, our waitress was exceptional!
I made a reservation for 10:30pm and was made aware by the waitress that the kitchen closed in 15 minutes. I wish somewhere on this booking app I would have know that although this 10:30pm reservation slot is available you will literally have to order everything at once. We felt rushed and were told told to order everything including dessert at the same time. I would have never booked this reservation knowing that, the restaurant I believe closed at midnight so once we received our food we have adequate time to eat. Again if the kitchen closes at 10:45 the option of making a reservation at 10:30pm shouldn’t even be offered or it should be noted somewhere making the patron aware of the limited time of 15 minutes to order your food.
Food was good! We were inside and near a table of boisterous ladies so it was a little hard to hear. But we enjoyed the night anyway.
The paella was very tasty with fresh ingredients. Service was good. We tried both sangrias but didn’t like either. The location is nice.
Omg love it
Great ambience, seafood paella was delish. Chicken lagrimitas was perfect. Will definitely return.
Muy buen lugar
The food was great. Our server did her job really well but not friendly at all. We would go back because we loved the food!
Food portion super small.
Seafood Paella super burnt.
Server super not responsive.
I had to keep staring at my server who is non-stop talking to his co-workers.
Water was served twice, both from different servers. Waited more than 10 mins to get his attention for check.
Not recommended for Saturday lunch.
Aliyah was excellent! Food / drinks came in fast, everything tasted amazing.
Food seemed like it was prepped too far in advance and came out either luke warm or cold. Never felt like it was prepared fresh just for our order. Ambiance was okay…buckhead plaza is always a cool spot, but if you sit outside on the patio, which we did, you’re surrounded by people who are probably too close, and the sounds of show offs revving their engines downstairs. Not exactly quiet and cozy.
This was literally the perfect date night! I cannot speak more highly about this restaurant. The food, drinks, and service was amazing! I would highly recommend getting numerous different tapas and drinks to try everything they have to offer. We sat there for maybe 3 hours trying so many different things and I have no complaints about a single thing. 10/10 recommend going here and going here ready to eat and drink your heart out!!
Took 35 minutes to get water disappointed. Rude waitress
We had a beautiful view from our table on the patio and it was much quieter than inside. Our server was just okay. Not very attentive and seemed disengaged. The food was delicious but expensive. We enjoyed our meal.
We were looking for something different than the usual cuisine in Atlanta and Gypsy Kitchen definitely delivered. A little pricey but absolutely all of the food was delicious!
Awesome food & service. Thanks 4 showing my parents a good Father's Day.
Enjoyed it . Veg paella was v good . I did not like the lamb much . Garlic shrimp was good too .
Delicious food, great service, and an authentic upscale atmosphere inside. Was raining out so didn’t get to go on the patio but that also looked nice. Definitely recommend the cheesecake!
I’ve visited this location several times over the years. The food & service has steadily declined which is unfortunate because the ambiance is lovely
Food was underwhelming and completed under spiced for the premise of the cuisine. Lacking salt and flavor. Desserts were horrible — so much so that in all my life I have never had dessert so bad that I had to tell the server. Donuts were burnt and dry. The tres leches cake was soaked in a syrup water and not creamy. Flavors were not complimentary — more of a pumpkin spice type flavor then the caramel vanilla that is the corner stone of tres leches.
Service was excellent though.
Good drinks, good food, good service, great ambience!
This being our third time at this restaurant and the last time being a couple years ago we figured it would have changed and it did, a little. We started with the Red Sangria which all in all tasted more like sparkling water kool aid. For our food we started with the small cheese and meat board which came with two slices of bread and our cheese and meat selection. The amount that came with this was decent and tasted really good. We
did love the Tomato jam that accompanied this. Next we had the Patatas Bravas. This looked over cooked and not like others from the reviews. The over cooked dregs of the potatoes were very crunchy and sat in the sauce instead of drizzled over which was very disappointing. We also ordered the grilled Spanish octopus which overall wasn’t bad but had too much of the char flavor which over powered a good meat. The high point of the tapas was the Croquettes de Pollo. They were the most flavorful and perfectly cooked. The low point unfortunately was the over rated seafood paella. The shrimp were so rubbery and tough from being over cooked that they would have bounced if we dropped them. There was barely any chorizo and the mussels tasted old. The overwhelming flavor was of the peas and watery tomato sauce in the dish and not the seafood. Having had authentic seafood paella in Spain this fell way short of expectations. Also if you are wanting to goto a loud restaurant this is certainly the place. It rivaled that of a malls food court on a busy weekday.
LOVE this restaurant. Great food and great service
The place is super cool! The service was the best that i have seen in years, the food and drinks were delicious and we got them quickly.
I thinks is a little bit expensive but the experience of eating Spanish food make it worthy
