Excellent meal starting with lobster dumplings and a great chocolate dessert. Had a nice wine selection across various price ranges and the halibut dish they are know for was delicious. Lots of good choices in NOLA for food and this is certainly one to put on your must list.
Staff was extremely friendly, drinks were good and food was outstanding. A bit pricey for how much food you get but would definitely go back and will recommend to friends/ family

Wonderful service and Ashley was exceptional. The Red Snapper was perfect . Lobster dumplings were delicious and the creme brûlée’ was the best I’ve ever had . They even had kid portions which was a huge plus .

I can’t find ANYTHING wrong with Fins, not that we’re particular, but we rarely find a restaurant that is as close to flawless as you can get. I encourage you to explore the menu before you choose Fins to ensure that suits your appetite. This is a seafood restaurant, not a steakhouse that serves seafood or a traditional NOLA restaurant where everything is deep fried or drenched in seasoning. If you’re looking for a unique dining experience with FRESH food combined with an array of flavors and textures, then you’ve found the gem that’s known as GW Fins! Enjoy!

Everything we had was nothing short of amazing. The pork belly with watermelon as a starter is a must. We had the Wagu ribeye and salibut with an additional side of mushroom risotto. The best dinner we had during our stay in New Orleans.
As usual, perfection. These are difficult times, but GW Fins still doesn’t skip a beat. Friendly professional service. Divine food. Welcoming attitude. Eager to please. Always a new menu. Tried tilefish for the first time and it was delicious! As was everything the 4 of us had. Can’t wait for the day we can actually hug!

The food and service were superb, from the moment we arrived until we departed. The menu selection is great and the chef easily accommodates gluten free diners. All COVID requirements were followed so we felt safe throughout our time there. The 3 course Coolinary menu is quite a deal. Of course, the regular menu is fabulous too. We've been here many times....do not hesitate to go. Locals can find parking on nearby streets.

As a local I’ll Tell you this is as good as it gets for seafood in the city. Chef Tinney just knocks it out of the park every time. As good as the food is, the service is better. Had our first anniversary dinner Friday night and they were nice enough to make us collectible menus and decorate our table. The menu changes daily, but you’ll likely find the scalibut which you should get. For apps, try salmon carpaccio for a cold dish or lobster dumplings for a hot dish.

As ever, the food was fantastic and the staff did a wonderful job under difficult circumstances. We felt very comfortable with the spacing of the tables and the staff wearing masks properly. I particularly appreciated that our server paid me (the female in the party) as much attention as my male date. Even in 2020, that rarely happens. Kudos to GW's!
