Guy Fieri's Chophouse - Bally's Ratings and Reviews
Very enjoyable evening. I used my Diamond Celebration Dinner award, and was pleased with the number of selections on the menu. My husband and I chose from the $39 Pre Fixe menu. He had the filet mignon medallions & I had the salmon (highly recommend!) and we shared. It was very good. We have dined there before, and would definitely go back again!
I've eaten at this restaurant before and loved it. I'm sure I would have loved it again if it was OPEN!!! Open Table let me book the reservation. Unfortunately Caesar's properties are very poor at communicating their restaurants' hours of operation to Open Table. This has happened before with a reservation at Nero's. Last time the manager at Caesar's was very apologetic and gave me a meal credit, but nobody would take any responsibility this time.
I am very disappointed with the Total Rewards group as they don't seem to want to take responsibility for their actions and are poor hosts.
We had the $39 menu and there was plenty to eat. We understand that this menu changes monthly so that if your heart is set on one particular dessert, you might be disappointed. Anyway, we had the 10 oz. prime rib and it was delicious and certainly large enough though you can upgrade to the 14 oz. for $10. This is the only entree that has no vegetable so I added a huge delicious baked potato for $6 and ended up taking most of it home. We enjoyed the dinner and the excellent service Luigi provided.
Just another pedestrian restaurant for gamblers to use casino food credits
I had prime rib ...over cooked, my wife had butterfish that was very good. Started with calamari that showed up cold. Server delivered food, which explained a lot ...no servers to get food out hot. Bill arrived as a piece of paper no holder or tray of any kind. Just another restaurant whoring the name of a celebrity chef. SHAME ON YOU GUY THOUGHT YOU WERE BETTER THAN THIS, BUT THANKS FOR SAVING ME MONEY I WONT WASTE IN VEGAS.
RATHER GO TO THE PALM OR BACK YO RAMSAYS.
live and learn I'm sure guy needs the money.
Service was excellent. Food was fantastic. Loved the warm pretzel bread with whipped butter to start. We had tomato and onion soups as appetizers. Both were yummy and not too big. For entrees we had steak and crab cakes. The pretzel crusted crab cakes were outstanding. Definitely will be having those again. My boyfriend loved his steak. He said that this was one of the best steaks he's ever had and we have been to many fancy steakhouses before. Overall a wonderful experience and will be definitely coming back when we're back in Atlantic City.
Every Bite was flavorful and fresh . Chef was on point this night .Delicious appetizers .Phone was charging so I don't have pictures sorry . The presentation was not disappointing . I am usually not impressed with celebrity chefs as I work with many of them .LOVE YOU GUY !!!!
Best dinner not expensive !!!
My wife and I have been to the Chop House 4 times now and have ordered different meals each time. We haven't been disappointed. We sat at the bar before going to the table where my wife had a Grey Goose martini and I had a bourbon stout beer which set the mood for the meal that followed. On this visit, which was on Thanksgiving we went with the 3 course Thanksgiving menu. We had a choice for the 1st course, my wife chose the beet salad and I picked the tempura shrimp and asparagus. They were both delicious and went well together. The second course was the traditional Thanksgiving meal. We agree that it was the best turkey we ever had, moist and flavorful. Great serving size which included garlic mashed potatoes, yams, excellent string beans, stuffing and cranberry sauce. For dessert we both took pumpkin pie to go since we we stuffed like a turkey.
Went for Thanksgiving and this year instead of ordering from the standard menu we chose the prix fixe traditional Thanksgiving dinner -- mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, dark and white meat, cranberry sauce, greenbeans and stuffing. All large portions, all very good. Served with a choice of soup or salad -- one had the tomato soup the other ordered the red beet salad -- both very good. Plus Guy's pretzel rolls served with honey butter -- delicious, and dessert -- we had the heathbar chocolate brownie with ice cream -- very good.
Great meal, service was very good as always, our waiter Mario was friendly, efficient, and kept checking to ensure all was going well. A great meal in a nice restaurant.
I took my husband here for his Birthday and it was outstanding! Our 1st time there and would absolutely go back. He doesn't normally try new places, he likes pub food/sports bars but I talked him into it. The salmon was amazing as well as the Filet Mignon! Service was impeccable!
My salmon was excellent! And the shrimp salad. Other than that, everything else was not. First they served you pretzel bread with a honey butter mustard. Weird, not good. Pretzel bread terrible. We ordered from the 39$ menu. The shrimp salad was very good, but heavy on the dressing. I ordered the salmon and it came with zucchini and potatoes sticks. Salmon excellent, but everything was very greasy. Salmon had a big gob of butter on it and the plate had a lot of grease/butter on bottom from potatoes and zucchini. My wife ordered the crab cake (1). Very little crab and had a weird taste. She thought it was dill pickles added to the crab cake. Tarter sauce weird with big pieces of pickle in it. Dessert was to go and when we opened it later, it literally was 1/2 a slice of cheesecake. One bite. My wife’s brownie was at least a bigger size.
Enjoyed an incredible dinner here on 11/18/17. Roxie, our server, was so friendly and welcoming and took great care of us during our meal. Each of our entrees was beautifully presented and excellent in taste....crab cakes and 18 ounce prime rib. My husband said the prime rib was some of the best he has ever tasted and he knows his prime rib! The wedge salads were awesome but HUGE! So you can easily split between two people. That goes for the other sides too...grilled broccoli and mashed potato bomb. The pretzel like rolls and spiced butter at the beginning of our meal were to die for! Wonderful experience which we hope to repeat next time we go to Atlantic City!
Horrible food awful service. They told guy in front of us they had no tables available for hour and half but his party could sit at bar. The place was almost empty on Friday night! The service was slow. Food was absolutely horrible. The steak, chicken, all of it. Guy Fieri needs to take his name off this place. I can see why place was empty now. I can’t believe we gave up reservation at Morton’s for this! Do not recommend.
I have mixed feelings about my experience. Overall I had a good time. We were seated by the window and the over all vibe was great. The hostess (I forget her name. Blonde and tall) was very nice, acknowledged my birthday and even check on my boyfriend and I halfway through. The $39 menu was great! We enjoyed our apps, entrees, and desserts. However we ordered too additional sides which were disappointing. I was REALLY looking forward to the Big Rig and 2 of the toppings I requested were forgotten AND the cheese wasn't even melted. The spinach was bland. We were only checked on once at the end of the meal so I had to deal with the disappointing Big Rig. I also didnt get a birthday song like other patrons and was given a piece of cheesecake with an apology. The idea of the CHOPHOUSE is great especially with Guys name on it but the execution just didn't do it for me.
The waitress Roxi was awful. we ordered two turkey burger with nothing on it because we don’t eat cheese and cheese come on it with raw meat very disappointed. The manager needs more skills on management if I am unsatified why would you ask if I would like to leave a tip. Are you crazy??? Guy fieri take your name off of this restaurant. After the restaurant we went to the casino and security followed us why??? We came here to celebrate someone 50th and he loves guy fieri very bad experience never again. Atlantic City is really down and out
Our first time at the restaurant and the food was delicious. We wasn’t too fond of the chocolate cheesecake with the chip. The steak I should have said medium well. Overall it was great. I came for my boyfriend birthday and he loved the pasta and crab cake. Thank you.
