Guy Fieri's Chophouse - Bally's Ratings and Reviews
Waitress was the best, food was good but ambience terrible. Pricey menu but way too casual. Paying so much for special date night with people in extremely casual outfits like board shorts and t-shirts, not something I'd recommend to anyone for a special occasion.
My husband ordered the ribeye and he is an A1 sauce kind of guy but he didn’t need that as that steak melted in your mouth! He said it was the best he’s ever had. I had Cajun chicken Alfredo and it was delicious! Huge portion...enough that my husband & I both ate it for leftovers the next day. Oh, and our waitress Trixie was phenomenal.
Went there for the wings. Wings changed. They use to have the best wings that would fall off the bone. Now they serve wing dings. They came out pink, and tough. Immediately sent back. My husband ordered the Mac and cheese burger. It came out over cooked, and mediocre. He used to order this burger all the time. We will not be returning. The only thing exceptional was our waiter Lugi.
We were staying at Baily's Atlantic City and wanted to find a nice place for dinner. We are so glad we went to Guy Fieri's Chophouse - Bally's. The restaurant was modern cozy and a place to feel comfortable in. Our waiter Blaze was knowledgeable, friendly and very attentive. and the food.. oh my goodness.. out of this world. We ordered from a 3-course pre-fixed meal menu and couldn't have been more pleased. Both the appetizer and dessert were excellent but the best part was the entrée. My fiancé had steak medallions and I had the most amazing fried chicken over cheese biscuits cooked in a skillet covered in local honey. I cant wait to go back and order it again. A definite thumbs up for Guy Fieri's Chophouse. I would recommend it to all of my friends and family.
Took my friend out for her birthday, requested window seating...Service was excellent, food was bangin' My friend had the Mac & Cheese burger and I had the NY Strip Steak along with the Vegas fries. We started off with a drink and Calamari and ended with the Cheesecake. Food was good and plentiful. Two servers took care of us and we did not have to wait for anything. Total bill was $145.00 plus tip. For casino restaurants, it was expected. I would deft recommend it for a special occasion.
Another wonderful dining experience at Guy Fieri's Chophouse in Bally's in Atlantic City. Our waiter, Sub-Zero, was friendly and accommodating (which is what we've always found when we've visited here!) ... the hostesses are delightful, the servers are thoughtful, the food (we had the turkey burger this time) is delicious, and the cocktails are terrific. This time my husband drank beer (ice cold and delicious) and I had TWO glasses of Prosecco. Our waiter had no problem splitting our burger for us - and even gave us two separate containers of fries. At our age (we'll never tell!) we appreciate smaller portions, and we ESPECIALLY appreciate our servers having no problem with our "sharing" .. My only regret about dining at Guy Fieri's is that I don't usually have room for those fabulous desserts. Drat! Can't wait to go back!
We tried the $39 menu. It was a great deal. We tried the wings and salad with shrimp. Both were excellent. We all ordered the prime rib. Meat was tasty, but a lot of fat. We added 2 sides the mash potatoes and Sautee spinach. Not sure what they sautéed the spinach, but it was not to our liking. Mashed potato was a baked potato partially scooped out, mashed and buttered. Next time I would order a baked potato. Their dinner rolls are squared soft pretzels paired with honey mustard butter. To die for. Dessert was also very good.
