Used to have to drive to Golden for this quality of food. So glad Longmont finally has a good Nepalese restaurant!
I’d recommend this place to anyone. They were patient with my mother in law as someone who had never tried Indian or Nepali food before.
Some of the best Indian food I have had! Very well done!
The food tasted exceptional. You can tell the ingredients are freshly prepared. Service was very good. You can tell it is family owned and they take pride in their establishment. Servings are a bit small, but I'd rather have quality over quantity.
This was my 3rd dining experience at Gurkhas. The food is interesting: Nepali cuisine is clearly influenced by Chinese & Indian cuisine. I enjoyed the Momo dumplings and the Chicken Tikka Masala with some Naan. All were good but not amazing.
I wanted to enjoy a beer with my meal but they don't have their license yet.
Family owned restaurant. Wonderful food and experience! Would absolutely return.
Very good food and service! Highly recommended.
If you like Indian cuisine. If you want great vegetarian and vegan options. If you want wonderful and freshly made dishes. Then I highly recommend Gurkhas Resturant. Its a fairly small restaurant with a simple but very clean seating area but the food is clearly made with quality as the theme. I love that you can find so many wonderful options on the menu including your choice of spiciness. We have been there several times and will continue to include them as one of our trusted restaurants. The restaurant is very basic which is OK by us. Go for the authentic high-quality food.
I have been looking for good Indian food..Found it!
This place is awesome. Good is super tasty. Would definitely go again and again
Excellent, friendly and attentive service, delicious and authentic food. A great experience!
We love Indian cuisine and have eaten in Indian restaurants all over the U.S. and Europe. Gurkhas is one of the best we’ve found anywhere. The sauces, meats, naan and rice are prepared to perfection. The quality and quantity of food you get is a great value. We ate at the restaurant twice in one week before writing the review so that I could comment on the consistency. The spice level was exactly the same both times and the food comes out fresh and hot. Nothing negative to say about our experience.
Love this restaurant. Food is always great and the service is consistently good.
Best Indian food I’ve had since moving to Boulder. Great service; very accommodating of making minor changes to sauce, spiciness, etc. Took friends a week ago and they agreed with our recommendation.
Great Indian food. Owners originally from Napal. Very helpful with food choices.
The food was absolutely excellent! I lived in Nepal for a while and the food tasted as I remembered it. The sauces were divine and I could have easily licked the bowl clean! This is definitely a place I will go back to. (P.S. I'm vegan and I was so happy with the options.)
Gurkhas food is very authentic Indian served in a no thrills environment. Great for when you just crave the flavors!
Best Indian food in Boulder! We got the Chicken Tikka Masala and it was hands down the best we've ever had. The sauce is perfection. Also, very quiet and the service is fantastic. The food came out really quick.
We will continue to eat here and recommend everyone to give it a try!
What a hidden gem - the food was excellent. We were served by the chef himself, who was so proud of his food. He was especially proud of his Tikka Masala and the Naan was some of the best I've ever had. Try it!
I love Indian food and happen to stumble upon Gurkhas as a place to fulfill my desires. We ordered several dishes - chicken korma, vege curry, thukpa, and naan. The Indian spices tasted fresh, the vegetables were cooked perfectly, and the Tibetan soup (thukpa) was the best I've ever had. We will definitely be going back! (Service was warm and attentive. Environment is clean and bright.
You'll never have any better Indian food in Boulder than at Gurkhas. While the aesthetics of the restaurant might leave something to be desired the quality of food more than makes up for it. I don't know how they make their sauces but MY GOD! I feel like an addict now and have cravings on the regular. You must eat at Gurkhas.
First time visit to restaurant - we meet another couple there as it was a halfway meeting place between our homes. The atmosphere was a little strange - it is very dark in the back room, but with weird neon lights, it was difficult to see the menu. The service was interesting; very friendly and nice but our server told us he was high and the bartender makes better drinks when he isn't sober. Kind of funny, but also weird. Overall good experience. Food was decent but not the best I've had.
Wonderful Indian food in Gunbarrel. Newer kind of style of food but it was very delicious. Also have lunch buffett.
Quality food, service, nice place and the server was so passionate about the food that he served us a complimentary dish so we could try it!!!!!!
Went exploring and very happy with a nice dinner at Gurkhas Restaurant. The quality of food was exceptional and would greatly recommend. Its a bit of a neighborhood more spot (off in Gunbarrel). Will also note that medium spicy was a bit spicy for our taste - so be careful.
