In the last four decades Gulliver’s Restaurant has became one of the most popular Prime Rib Restaurant in Southern California.
Gulliver’s hand-selected beef (corn-belt) is slow roasted in a unique patented oven system to assure flavorful, tender and juicy Prime Rib dinners. Gulliver's Restaurant is well known also for its other specialties as in-house aged Prime Steaks, Chateaubriand, Salmon, Rack of Lamb, Baby Back Ribs and roasted Long Island Duck.
As you walk into a Gulliver's you will feel as though you have entered back in time to 18th century England. Guests at the Gulliver’s are surrounded by a veritable museum of leaded glass pieces, pewter and ceramic objects, and a collection of prints from Hogarth, Rowlandson and other Gulliver’s Travels illustrators.
The Portions are huge, the service is gracious and friendly, and most importantly, the beef is cooked to perfection.

They decorate for every holiday. Prime rib and filet are good! Twice baked potato is yummy and the green beans! I’m not a fan of creamed corn, but my family likes it. It’s located near the fwy, so it’s easy to get off and on.

our family had 5 birthdays in February so we decided to take the mob to Gulliver's for dinner to celebrate. One had the Gulliver's salad as an entrée, the rest of us had prime rib from medium rare to end cut (well done). The prime rib was delicious, tender and flavorful. You also can't beat the Gulliver's corn, Yorkshire pudding and cream spinach. All went well with a Robert Mondavi Cabernet

Our server was friendly and patient. He knew we were there to talk as well as eat so he didn't put any pressure on us to order.

All in all a very pleasant evening with great food. Just what I expect when I come here to one of my favorite restaurants

We always love coming to Gullivers.
Our waiter Shane was very friendly and attentive. The kitchen had sent out a plate of prime rib that wasn’t to my liking and he was quick to switch it out. We can’t wait to come back!

The restaurant has a very big open dinning room, with a visible cooking area. It is very casual. A great place to come if you are wanting steak or prime rib. Everything was EXCELLENT! The crab cake appetizer was so delicious!, Prime rib cooked perfectly and the creme brûlée OMG to die for. Service was quick and attentive. We had a wonderful Valentines night!

As usual the food and ambience were outstanding. In addition, the restaurant was decorated for Valentine's Day, which was very special.
On the negative side, even though we had a reservation, and our table was ready, we were asked by the receptionist to wait in the lobby until our guest arrived; totally unacceptable, we should have been seated immediately upon our arrival.
Finally, even thought the restaurant was not busy during our meal, the table service was very slow.

I downloaded the open table app and made a reservation for 8pm since it was the weekend before Valentine’s Day. When we arrived they said they had a few tables getting up and they were running a bit behind and asked if we could wait in the lounge where I overheard the host use the same excuse to every guest that walked through the doors. Twenty five minutes later we finally got seated at our table next to the open kitchen. I looked around and noticed there was lots of open tables and a few empty rooms. I counted at least 6 servers but it looked like there might of been some large parties in a back room because they would disappear for long period of times. My friend also overheard some employees asking each other who was going to pick up our table. We waited a few minutes and the host came by to ask us if he could get some drinks started since our server was busy. Our server finally showed up and he seemed like he was in a hurry and took our order and left. We ordered crab stuffed mushrooms which were cold and my date ordered a house salad. For our entrees my date ordered the prime cut portion and I ordered the big bone in Broding -nagian portion of prime rib cooked medium rare. We also ordered a side of brussle sprouts and a side of truffle mashed potatoes. The prime ribs came out over cooked and it looked like her portion was bigger than mine. The server informed us that the cook just serves portion he seems fit towards the end of the night. He finished dropping off the food and asked us if everything was ok since he said he was busy cuz he had to go make some salads. Anyways so we saw our server a total of four times. Once to take our order, once to drop our food, once to drop off our cold lava cake and once to take the bill. I just expected a lot more from this restaurant. Maybe they were understaffed or maybe having a bad day but it still doesn’t change the fact that we had a disappointing experience.
