Gulliver’s hand-selected beef (corn-belt) is slow roasted in a unique patented oven system to assure flavorful, tender and juicy Prime Rib dinners. Gulliver's Restaurant is well known also for its other specialties as in-house aged Prime Steaks, Chateaubriand, Salmon, Rack of Lamb, Baby Back Ribs and roasted Long Island Duck.
As you walk into a Gulliver's you will feel as though you have entered back in time to 18th century England. Guests at the Gulliver’s are surrounded by a veritable museum of leaded glass pieces, pewter and ceramic objects, and a collection of prints from Hogarth, Rowlandson and other Gulliver’s Travels illustrators.
The Portions are huge, the service is gracious and friendly, and most importantly, the beef is cooked to perfection.
Gulliver's is place where memories are created.

Great food, service and waitress was extremely kind!
We enjoy the Prime Rib entrees. Our Waitress was very pleasant this time. Very nice Hostesses also.
Terrific food and service ! Ilya, the restaurant manager, ALWAYS makes dining at Gullivers a MEMORABLE experience !
Always very good.!My steak was a little under-done to my liking but overall another good experience.
Please eliminate white pepper from your kitchens. It in no way enhances the flavor of your side dishes or any food for that matter. All that means is that your foods or prep have no taste. That is all pepper is good for.
Front of house staff lost my reservations. We were seated 30 minutes after our appointed time. They were really not up to a busy day.
Bar tender worked with aplomb even though he was slammed.
Servers did the best they could but all in all it was an ordeal rather than a pleasant experience.
Too bad since it was our first time there and our 36th wedding anniversary. I would to give you all a second chance but that is not likely. It is hard to give up $149 and come away miserable.
As always, we had a lovely experience dining at Gulliver's. The wait staff was attentive to our needs, including the timing of our service, beverage refills, dessert and coffee service. JJ, the waitress, was a delight, as was Justin the food runner.
We will happily continue to visit Gulliver's, both for special occasions and for "just because" days! If you want to visit (especially for Christmas Eve, Thanksgiving or Easter), we STRONGLY recommend you make a reservation, as the restaurant is very popular.
We were in a room with several large parties, so it was exceptionally noisy. Also, because our server was waiting on a table of 16, the service for our table of 2 was poor. After our food arrived, no one came back to see how everything was; I ordered coffee, but was unable to get a refill. We drove to Gulliver's from West Los Angeles - a drive of about an hour. The food was not as good as the last time I was there a couple of years ago. Probably would not drive there again.
The service was great and the food very tasty . Our server was a joy.
Best prime rib that I have ever had! Thank you so much! Service was excellent!
Great time. Good Food
Bday. We love this place.
Our server was very polite attentive and made sure we were happy. She went above and beyond and gave best service I’ve had in while . Thanks
Our waiter Shawn was so attentive and professional. We would come back because of Shawn and the food. I already recommended the restaurant to Ms. Chelsea Martell.
Gullivers never disappoints. Good food, good atmosphere and good service. A little pricey but the quantities are huge.
Excellent prime rib.
It's been a long time since we ate here, and we remember it from when our parents would take us. It was great to see what made them memorable was still there. The food was universally excellent, the portions were enormous, the service was great. It was a fun venue to enjoy a dinner with old friends and be able to take our time, talk (and be able to hear one another without yelling), and then have plenty of leftovers.
I hadn't been here for years. Loved it once again. Excellent service. Lunch was a great value. A beautiful cozy place on a rainy day. Loved the fireplaces!
Met my niece and her fiancé who just flew into SNA. Service was very good and the owner was very sweet.
Outstanding ambiance, decor, service & WONDERFUL PRIME RIB. I highly recommend this restaurant whether it be for a special occasion, or simple fare in the cozy bar.
Absolutely fantastic! Ordered Gulliver’s Prime Rib and received it in less than 5 minutes! It was the best prime rib I’ve ever had! Highly recommended
The Gulliver Prime Rub was not the same as last time. This cut was thinner. I was disappointed in the cut.
The appetizer, mushroom stuff crab meat was quite salty. The salad did not seem fresh.
After moving from the area 20 years ago, we returned to Gulliver's to see if it was the same. To our enjoyment nothing changed. Same great service, Same great atmosphere, Same great food with the only difference was price and that is due to the economy. For what we ordered and with what we paid, it was well worth it. Far better than other Steak houses.
Great service and the best prime rib in town!
I've been going here since the 70's, It's still my favorite restaurant, I went to summit house recently but still prefer Gulivers, It's much quieter, has larger menu & it's a more cosy atmosphere, Years back you served a chicken with wine sauce & i do miss that, I don't think the one you have now has much flavor, but there still plenty of other items on the menu to choose from,
Gulliver's is always a treat. We celebrate many special occasions here. The other night we celebrated a birthday with a coupon from being on their mailing list.
Their Caesar salad is one of the best anywhere--it has a tangy and unique dressing, with just a hint of anchovy--just right. My husband and I both had the prime rib--perfectly cooked and flavored. Creamed spinach, Yorkshire pudding, and creamed corn rounded out the meal, along with good draft beer.
Our server brought an English trifle for dessert, and again, it was as good as always. The service is always great, and the owner typically comes around to ensure we are satisfied. We are so glad Gulliver's is nearby.
I was very disappointed in our celebration at Gulliver’s this time. Will we come back..? Not for a long time. The service was not up to par and it took forever to get our drinks and food. We hated our table in the back by the restrooms.
Went to Gulliver's for some family birthdays. There were 7 of us. We were greeted at the door by name and immediately seated. We had requested a table with our favorite waiter, Tony, and he was, as always, superb. Five of us had the prime rib which is always a great choice. One had the rack of lamb and the other chicken. all great.
Tony is a great waiter, when you sit down he asks you for your drink selection and then lets you talk and enjoy each others company without being intrusive. The minute you look up to see where he is at to order dinner, he is there.
You cannot beat Gulliver's for prime rib and service. There drink and wine prices are fair. If you are looking for a hunk of beef or have an occasion that is special. This is the place. This is my default "steak house".
I've been coming to Gulliver's since it first opened in 1971. Have always loved it, but it needs some cleaning up. We were seated in a booth for four people. It was so dark we could not read the menu, the waiter finally asked management if they could turn up the lights, which they did, as it did help enough that we could read the menu's without using the flashlights on our phones. Once the lights were turned up we could see the restaurant a little bit better. All the hanging chandeliers were dirty with many light bulbs burnt out. The chairs in the lobby waiting area were all very worn. Then they had cheesy paper Valentines taped all over the restaurant. Bring back the beauty of the original Gullivers. The Gulliver's Prime Rib, creamed corn, creamed spinach and Yorkshire pudding was still delicious. Service was good.
OK wines by the glass, creamed corn like spackle, Yorkshire = cardboard , beef lacked “beef” feel & taste
My friend Barbara and I enjoy Gullivers and frequent often. Guess there was a snafu with OpenTable as Barbara arrived before me and didn’t realize I had made a reservation. We’ll be back in a couple of months and probably best for me to call the restaurant to make a reservation in the future. Anyways, love the food , the service and seasonal decorations.
We just discovered this place and we love it! Can't wait to see Halloween decor... food is amazing, my filet mignon was buttery tender!
The food was excellent. We had an expectation that wasn’t true, but the waitress and manager made it happen! Outstanding evening!
Went using one of their birthday promotions (get on the list!). It was on Valentine's Day and they honored it. One dish the Gulliver 1lb Hamburger which was fantastic. perfectly cooked, juicy and on a bun that can hold that amount of meat. The fries were a nice treat. The other dish was the southwest chopped prime rib salad. Stunning presentation for a salad and delicious. The prime rib could have been warmed, but still tasty at room temp. Love this place. The tabled bread was warm and fresh out of the oven. Sarah, the waitress, was friendly and checked on all guests. Not just us. Very good at her job. We will be back.
Had a great time with our friends enjoying their delicious dishes and the best cream corn you can find anywhere 😋
We did enjoy our evening there but there a few qliches:
1) My husband never got his glass of wine with dinner. It was brought when we were waiting for dessert.
2) When we got our bill, our waiter forgot to use the Groupon that we gave him prior to ordering. We had to remind him about it.
The waiter was very apologetic about the wine and comp us the dessert, along with giving us a piece to take home.
I've had better prime rib at Flemings for the price.
Restaurant looks dirty and covered by dark lighting. Needs remodeling.
