Gulfstream is always a great night out either with friends and family or as a couple. The food is outstanding with seafood and steak selections that are all excellent. The service is attentive and professional. This is “off the beaten track” but well worth finding.
Awesome time . awesome, food , awesome value and awesome service! Can't say enough good things about food ,value, and ambiance!
Food was exquisite, service outstanding, atmosphere perfect. Our new favorite place to eat Garden City/Murrell's Inlet.
View unparalleled. Menu limited. Food ok not amazingly.
Gulfstream is always a wonderful experience. Great food and service. The view is spectacular. This is one of our favorite places to eat.
Pretty place to visit. Wouldn't want to eat there again. Food prep has gone downhill steadily over the past couple years. Stick with fried seafood if you must eat.
One of, if not the best grouper francaise I’ve ever had. Service was incredible. Food took a little long but was understandable being it was Mother’s Day. Waitress kept checking in with us and apologizing. Everything was great. Amazing view as well.
Food was fair. Oysters Rockefeller are better at Wicked Tuna. Shrimp and grits appetizer tasted ok but shrimp were very small. Chicken Parmesan was average. Eaten here several times but have not figured out what’s good.
Thought prices were a little high. We love this restaurant.
We would definitely recommend the Gulfstream Cafe to our friends!
Enjoyed it very much, as always! Our favorite place to eat at the beach!
We had a wonderful, peaceful Mother’s Day Brunch! We will be back again!:)
They price was more since it was mothers day - the plate were always empty - and most of the food was cold - except for the omelet station and ham carving - the beef was a little under cooked so it was cold..
Great place to bring guests to view sunset along with good food and nice atmosphere. Kitchen can be slow but worth the wait. Drinks tend to be typical for the area. There are not many good mixologists in the MB area.
We sat outside and it was a lovely experience with great food, service and sunset
First time there. Food was very good and our waitress, Lynette was outstanding! Very outgoing, friendly, and just the right amount of attention. We will definitely be back.
Oyster shooters were amazing, crab cake dinner was all crab meat and very good. Highly recommended!
As always, the food was delicious. Also as always, very crowded. Do need more handicapped parking. That's a must!
We have been coming to the Gulf Stream for over 25 years. We have recommended Gulf Stream too many many friends over the years. The oysters could have been fried a little bit longer, I know that is personal preference. Perfer the larger scallops instead of the small ones we got this trip. Visit every time we go to the beach.
We have been at this restaurant several times over the years. We were disappointed in the food . The she crab soup had numerous pieces of shells in it, the grouper medallions tasted like fried chicken with gravy. It was not the quality we expected nor were accustomed to.
The server Eric was very good and friendly.
Our waiter, Jeff, was awesome
The food was excellent as always, however the upstairs where we were seated was at an uncomfortable temperature. Way too warm.
The food was good, service was good but it was extremely noisy. We couldn’t enjoy our dinner due to the noise.
I made our reservation online explaining we were coming to celebrate our 34th anniversary. We had a grest waitress she was on top of anything we may want or need. The crabcakes were as listed on the menu very meaty and just very tasty. The atmosphere was very nice and you have a feeling of fine dining yet in a casual setting.
We will look forward for a return visit.
Gulfstream is in my opinion the best dining experience in the area!
The menu selection is outstanding and so is the staff.
A must visit!!
Crab cakes are to die for! Service always rocks and the food is just plain good. Gorgeous views to boot! You won’t be sorry I promise.
Our favorite restaurant on the beach! We have been coming since 2002 and we bring all our visitors there. See you for Mother's Day Brunch!
The seafood was fresh. The Sunday brunch was great! Views by the marsh were perfect. My daughters new favorite!
Food was a little cold for the hot food but service was great !!
The view overlooking the marsh with the sunset was beautiful. The food was delicious, service was good.
We had a party of 8 and were promptly seated upon arrival. Our waiter, Jason was very attentive, answered all questions, and did an excellent job serving us.
Nice evening to catch the sunset!
Vacation dinner on the marsh. Beautiful day, lovely view. I expected better quality food and more local seafood (the closest was monkfish from RI, all they could tell me about the Grouper was “from the Atlantic”). I asked chef for recommendation for one of the four house special Cabernets to pair with monkfish and they came back with Chardonnay. Come on folks, I cook and I drink wine and some fish holds up very nicely with red—for the record, Meiomo Pinot Noir was a nice match. All desserts were made out of house and our to-go was packaged in a chain restaurant bag with California Dreaming logo. Now I am sad because I thought after all the rave reviews we were going to a local fish house in MI—not so much.
Lovely view though.
We had. 6:45 reservation and we were seated immediately. The waitress approached us immediately to take our drink orders and tell us about the days specials. We received our bread and our non-alcoholic drinks in a timely manner. When she brought the drinks from the bar the waitress took our dinner orders.
We had adequate time relax and enjoy our drinks & bread. Our dinners were delivered at the same time and we all agreed that everything was done to perfection and tasted delicious! No room for dessert.
It was Easter Sunday and the wait-staff had had a long and very busy day but our waitress was attentive and extremely pleasant!
Awesome food and great place but Easter Sunday was very busy and we did have to wait for a long time, even with the reservation and then we had to wait in a very long line to get to the buffet. But it is awesome food and I will go back!
I put in the comments when making reservations that my parents were celebrating their 62 wedding anniversary. Not sure why you would ask this question, if celebrating a special occasion, if you were not going to recognize it. Hash browns we're hard, checked was a bit dry. Roast beef was served with no au jur. Was a bit disappointed, but will not stop us from coming back. We have reservations for Father's day brunch.
Easter brunch was busy, well managed, and the food was great. Our waitress was pleasant, responsive, and effective. Our table of 12 was well taken care of...ages 3 yrs to 80. The view is peaceful. The price is reasonable. A really great family experience. Strongly recommend it.
The Easter Buffet was very excellent. A very nice selection of items, which the staff was quick to replenish. Our server wwas very attentive and pleasant. An overall wonderful beginning to our day.
The only reason I’m not giving five stars everything is because I unfortunately was at the top level for my seating and had I known there was such a arrangement I would’ve made sure that I told the staff that I have a torn meniscus and Jennifer arthritis in my other knee and I could not maneuver the steps and carry my food up and down so that made for a more difficult dining experience otherwise I absolutely love the golf stream the café.It was really unsettling to me to see that really older folks were being dragged up and down those stairs to get their food and I mean in their 80s that was not appropriate in my opinion
We had a reservation for 9:30 on Easter. We waited 15 minutes to be seated while others who came in after us were seated. When we got,to our table, there was water all over the floor and two of the chairs. The hostess saw the water and just walked away. My husband cleaned up,the water.
The variety of food was much less than we expected for $19.95 Easter brunch. The fried fish was much more fry than fish and the chicken was so dry. There were hardly any options for kids, so $9.95 seemed very high for them.
