A very nice brunch. The biscuits I just wish they were hotter. Same thing with the French toast. The waiter, Adam, was great. He kept my coffee flowing.
World class view especially at sunset!
We went in January at sunset.
The atmosphere was quiet and the view was outstanding.
I am sure things change and it’s much busier during the season.
Service was very caring and professional.
Beautiful location! Very good breakfast buffet!
Have been coming here for many years. Consistently good food, good service. Thank you.
My wife and I have loved going to Gulfstream Cafe for many years. It is a beautiful setting, and the food and service are always top notch. I recommend it highly.
Very good food and good service. Beautiful setting. Plan to visit again.
Pretty basic brunch. Won’t do it again but we’ll be back for dinner.
New Years brunch, excellent selection fresh and yummy!
New Year’s Eve dinner, it was great. Our reservation was pretty much right on time, we where not rushed through, it was a very nice evening
Front desk not friendly or helpful. Table was close too the front door on a cold night. Loud music speaker was immediately above our table. Will not go back on New Years Eve. Not a pleasant experience, whatsoever!
Loved the convenience of using Open Table to book for New Year’s Eve dinner. We were seated almost immediately even though there were others waiting. Service and food were outstanding! The only drawback was it was very noisy & even though were seated at a two top we could barely hear each other.
our waiter was very pleasant, answered all our questions. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared. While not usually fond of fried fish, the coating was crispy and light and not oily at all.
Longtime fan. The early bird special is a bargain, before 5:30pm. Sunsets are exquisite.
Four of where in on Sunday for brunch. The buffet had a nice mix of breakfast and lunch items including an omelet station. The bloody Mary bar had anything you could want to accompany your bloody.
We enjoyed a lovely family dinner at Gulfstream Cafe. Seated by the windows, can imagine that the sunset from there is spectacular. Beautiful restaurant, great service and very good food. Will return for a sunset meal.
We enjoyed our Christmas dinner at Gulfstream. They were extremely busy, but that didn't stop the staff and kitchen from providing an exceptional meal with attentive service. I had the cioppino and it was exquisite. We also had the calamari appetizer, and it was the best I have had in a long time. The provided bread was fantastic, especially with the cioppino. Our server was knowledgeable and upbeat. I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again. We appreciated, though, having such a wonderful experience on Christmas.
Food was great. Took 30 minutes to be seated. I will be back.
We had a wonderful Christmas dinner. Our two young children were welcome, our server (Jessie) took excellent care of us, and everything was delicious. It was perfect.
Went on Christmas Day had a reservation was extremely busy. Great service excellent food was a bit noisy but that is to be expected with a full restaurant and people waiting for tables.
Very good food and service and if you time it properly you can watch the sunset.
Everything was good except the staff was obviously over worked and so the service was very slow. They also had computer problems which added to the slowness.
Was there Christmas Day so I’m not sure if they are usually that jam packed. Line was almost out the door and I would hope those folks had reservations. Be sure to reserve. We enjoyed Bruschetta, Mussels Marinara, Lobster Ravioli, and Fried Shrimp and Scallops. Bar and about 10 tables upstairs, majority of seating downstairs.
I had heard so much about this restaurant from neighbors. We decided to try it. I ordered broiled shrimp. My friend ordered broiled scallops. Both of our entrees were cold and my shrimp was not broiled but was actually a cold shrimp cocktail. Maybe it's because the other two entrees weren't fish but that should not have happened. That's the kitchen and servers fault. I was a server for 14 yrs and I could tell it was sitting in the back while they waited for the other two baked entrees. We complained but all they gave us was a piece of cake. Won't going there again!!
Love this restaurant. Great location with outstanding views of Murrells Inlet. Food is always good and service exceptional. On this visit, I was a little disappointed in the portion size. I ordered the Grouper Francaise and don't think the price was worth the amount of food. There were only 3 very small grouper chunks, although it was delicious.
Beautiful interior with lots of wood! Exceptional view of the marsh across to Murrells Inlet.
arrived 20 mins late (calmed ahead) but still got great customer service. The food was not up to par for what I paid for....pork chop was tough and asparagus needed cooked longer. We were the last table for the night, and seeing table broken down and chairs put up doesn’t present a good image.....felt like we were rushed out....otherwise I might try this place again earlier in the day to see if it makes a difference.
Our family loved brunch with Santa. Great food selection on the buffet. Food and service were awesome. A wonderful holiday event for all ages. Highly recommended.
We visited Gulfstream Cafe as a family of four for Brunch with Santa. We had 12:15 p.m. reservations and waited approximately 20 minutes for a table once we arrived. The Brunch with Santa event is a seasonal tradition for our family, one we've always enjoyed. Christmas 2019 brought enjoyable food. The breakfast items - eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, and French Toast - were very tasty. The attentiveness of employees was subpar compared to years past. The brunch buffet needed plates each time we visited, leaving a number of guests standing with no way to serve themselves. Our server, while polite, did not frequent our table unless there were obvious plates to be removed or she was leaving the brunch tab. The food and visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus were good, but the service did not leave us inclined to return next year. I would return to the restaurant for dinner, but not for this particular seasonal event.
We go to Gulfstream quite often. We’ve gone for the brunch with Santa for many years. The only problem this year was the table where we were seated was right next to the buffet line. People were literally leaned against our table (where are drinks were) while in line. People were resting against my chair while I was sitting in it!! Hopefully next time they won’t have a table set up so close to the line!
Our server, Vanessa, was so helpful and sweet! Kenzie was also extremely knowledgeable when we stopped her to ask about the menu. I highly suggest asking for Vanessa or Kenzie when dining here. Great experience!
Best place in Murrells internet. If you have not gone you have not had good food and excellent customer service. Enough said ❤️❤️❤️
Thanksgiving dinner was excellent and Gwendolyn gave wonderful service.
Great food and service as always, probably the 7th or 8th Thanksgiving we've had here! Excellent price value, great food, all home made and served piping hot. Great service (Kat), extremely pleasant and attentive, especially considering it was a Holiday. Highly recommend!
Always wonderful food and service with a beautiful view.
We have dined at Gulf Stream over the years and are never disappointed. This was our first Thanksgiving meal and it was great! The volume of food was more than enough and the food was very hot (a great thing!) when it reached our table. Service was timely including our bar order. This is a great moderately priced restaurant with a great location for a water dining experience.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving day meal here during the midday rush. We had a beautiful window-side view and a lovely time. The food was plentiful and quite delicious. The green beans and carrots were on par with any New York restaurant. The stuffing/dressing was a bit pre-packed. All in all the food was delicious and we all had a great time.
The fresh grouper was amazing though quite pricey at nearly $35 including 2 sides. I am not clear as to why a salad can not be chosen as a side without a $3.95 up charge. Ambiance here is stunning with candlelight and magnificent marsh views. Service overall was acceptable, but when arriving for our reservation, we waited about 5 minutes in a restaurant with dozens of open tables. It seemed as though they were only using certain tables in a rotation? The floors in the entry were sticky also. Even with my few complaints, this is a great choice for dinner in the Inlet away from the chaos of the Marshwalk ...strongly recommend.
We went to dinner at Gulf Stream whole down at Surfside Beach at a family's house. We have been there before. We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and they were very thoughtful and made us a card and have us both a glass of champagne!! It was very special. Food was pretty good. Thank you for a nice evening!
Wonderful meal. Particularly good She Crab soup enjoyed by all. Seating and service timely and pleasant.
Went there for Veterans night great food and service Thank you Gulfstream for what you do for us veterans
