Absolutely fantastic meal. Every dish totally new flavors. My only disappointment is that we could not try everything else on the menu. We will most certainly be back.
A great meal on Father's Day. Thank you! We will be back again soon.
Always delicious! Chef Carlos and his staff never disappoint. His staff always warm and welcoming and the food fresh and flavorful 💜
This restaurant will be my go to place next time in Healdsburg! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the owner came out to greet and talk to all patrons.
It’s certainly one of the finest restaurants in Healdsburg at any price point. Love their food year after year.
We had a great date night in downtown Healdsburg. The food was great, and the staff was extremely attentive.
The food is the best, we brought our own wine from our family winery and they charged us a $20 corkage fee (Healdsburg restaurants used to wave this fee if the wine was from a local winery) but other than that, the food and service was excellent.
Not a large menu. Food is expensive for what you get
We had a very nice evening. The food was great and all of the staff were friendly and informative.
Loved this place. Truly a family run restaurant. Great Food and excellent service
Great restaurant - one of the best in Healdsburg.
Get one or two of everything and share. That’s the best way to experience this place.
Guiso is a small family run restaurant serving smiles, Great service and incredible latin fusion dishes!!!
Fine dining twist to Central American cooking with nice plating and attentive service. Menu is somewhat limited but the small kitchen obviously limits what can be offered. Combining small plate offerings may be bets way to go.
First time at this restaurant. We sat at the outdoor tables and the ambiance is a little bit impaired by the temporary nature of the seating. There is not really a view. But the food was unique, flavorful, and interesting. We really enjoyed the unique family recipes.
Servings were too”precious “, especially for the price. Lots of salt and vinegar without a balance of sweetness
Everything was delicious and the staff were wonderful!
Our favorite restaurant in Healdsburg!!
Fabulous Latin flavors experience!! Carlos the attentive owner/chef greets dinners and the servers can't be nicer. A paella is a paella...not here as it is a unique fusion version. An ode to creativity in flavors and totally joyful dinner.
Very creative cooking. Unusual Salvadoran sauces. highly recommend
Absolutely delicious meal, made all the more enjoyable by the server welcoming us by telling us how the restaurant got its start and the friendly chef coming by at the end of the meal to visit and tell us stories about his childhood in El Salvador.
very unusual menu and great food and service. A must go.
If you can only eat at one restaurant in Healdsburg, this should be it. The chef is gifted with the ability to blend foods and flavors as a conductor would a symphony orchestra.
The salad was beautiful as it was delicious with fresh everything including the flowers.
Fish tocos, a must. Different and delicious.
The papaya is not the usual. More delicious sauce and a wonderful medley of flavors.

Must haves are everything on the menu! Loved the corn and paella.
Hmm, seating on the street by the closed theater. Limited menu. Pretty carb heavy and too expensive for the offerings. I had the camerones. Way too salty.
Favorite meal in Healdsburg. This family owned and operated establishment is a “can’t miss”. Absolutely wonderful meal and experience!!
This was our second visit with our first being pre-pamdemic. We were so thrilled that Guiso survived the pandemic and had outdoor seating available for our dinner. The elotitos appetizer is an amazing starter and our favorite. We has the Camarones Borrachos and Churrasco Asado for our entrees and they were amazing. Beyond the food, we love the family inspiration/drive and the service!
We made reservations after watching the review on Check Please Bay Area. The service was excellent, great music, and we enjoyed the warm weather in the outdoor patio. The food highlights included the fish tacos, pupusas, camarones borrachos (order a side of pan to go with it), and churrasco asado. We'll definitely come back next time we're in Healdsburg.
We enjoyed our meal. We felt the paella was more of a fish soup. It had very little saffron and a lot of broth. The grilled squash was undercooked and they give you one slice for a high price. Not sure I would return anytime soon.
We had an amazing experience and will be back!
Guido Latin Fusion is a warm and embracing family run restaurant with attentive service and outstanding food. For those of you familiar with the excellent standard of Gerard's (Sonoma Co. based) paella, you'll be blown away by the exceptional paella here. We also had both the beautifully dressed gem salad with citrus and watermelon radish and the delicious empanadillas. I dinged the atmosphere because all restaurants due to COVID are on the sidewalk and it's thus impossible to rate the restaurant's ambience. All in all, highly recommended.
Nice little restaurant. Loved the family story and the flavors were great. Enjoyed the pupusa, fish tacos and paella. Wines are reasonably priced.
The service was great, very friendly staff. We were seated immediately and after we mentioned we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, they brought us complimentary glasses of bubbly. Our server went over the menu with us and the food was delicious.
Fantastic service and great food. Perfect for date night or a get together with friends and family.
Welcoming wait staff is very welcoming and eager to explain the menu. Paella was spicer than most Spanish paella but it was excellent and loaded with sea food. Pulled pork was among the best I have had.
First post-pandemic visit to one of my previously favorite restaurants. The restaurant proper is very small but has been allowed to expand to the outside sidewalk, leaving the socially distanced inside devoid of its previous charm. The service remains friendly and excellent. The appetizers have always been some of the strongest dishes, and that has not changed, but the entrees, which were always limited, are now even more limited. None the less, the flavors remain awesome. The biggest reason for only four stars, where my past rating would be five, is the pricing, which is eye-popping. I always order steak, but it was previously marketed for two people and was an excellent, tender cut. This steak was a 7oz, supposedly New York steak but seemed a bit tough and came with little else on the plate, for $45. The paella was $50. The wines were also pricey. I cannot decide if the pandemic or the restaurant’s popularity is responsible for the changes, but the previous charm and value seem largely lost.
very flavorful food and worthy of the buzz surrounding it
Paella very good. Salad used cottage cheese instead of real cheese.
We will never go to Healdsburg again without dining at this gem of a family restaurant. We shared four courses and every one was perfect except for the Paella. It was beyond perfect and by far the best Paella either one of us had ever experienced. It's not inexpensive at $50 but worth every penny. We were talking about the dish the rest of the evening. Wines by the glass are reasonable and went well with each item we were served. If you appreciate perfection in the kitchen you will love Guiso. The service is casual, friendly, and informed. A perfect evening in Healdsburg.
So delicious. Thank you!
We have been here a few times and everything is always perfect. The food is outstanding and the staff even better, if that’s possible! They are so friendly and professional!! Will definitely go back!
