Amazing!!!!

Best restaurant in Healdsburg, no question. The passion of the food is felt in the service, and the food is remarkable. We tried every restaurant in the downtown area and this was by far the most special and unique. Don’t skip this place.

Outstanding food with amazing flavors

Guiso’s has been a wonderful addition to Healdsburg great dinning experience. Delicious family recipes, great service give a wonderful dining experience. We had the Chicken Wings, Fish Tacos, Spicy Shrimp in Tomato Broth and Paella (very different and better than any you would have tried) and Chocolate Pot de Creme. Each dish was brilliant. One of our favorite restaurants in Healdsburg- we go often and take our friends there.

High end tasty Salvadoran food- not many vegetarian options - or vegetables on the plate at all . A nice addition to the downtown Healdsburg fin ng scene.

So here's the beauty of Guiso. The chef is so inventive and changes up his menu. Due to COVID we hadn't been there in awhile but now they've opened up to outside dining. This time we had these insanely delicious chicken wings that are bathed in tomatillo & serrano chili salsa verde, shaved asiago cheese, green onions. Five stars. Then we had lam shoulder tacos, WOW and a delicious skirt steak, cooked to perfection and dusted with a coffee rub. Nobody else in Healdsburg does anything remotely similar to this Latin Fusion cuisine.

Food was fantastic. We ordered the Pupusas to start. For the main, we had the Cubano, wild prawns and paella. All cooked perfectly and delicious. The restaurant crew was top notch, super passionate, friendly and welcoming. The outdoor setup using heaters, safe spacing between tables and the movie theater front entrance was an unexpected plus! Highly recommend.

One of our favorite places in Sonoma County. The friendly , family feeling is wonderful. The authentic, creative, fresh flavors are superlative! Chef Carlos is a star among chefs.

Ate here for the first time, during COVID-19 reopening. Social distancing in full effect, hand sanitizer, wait staff and customers masked up. Food was very good. You could tell it is a small family run restaurant that tajes pride in the menu. The chef came out at the end of meals to visit customers. Highly recommend.

Wonderful family, creative menu, everything was delicious! Dinner at Guiso Latin Fusion was a delight and i’d enthusiastically recommend the experience.

My husband and I will drive all the way from SF just to go to wine tasting and then enjoy a beautiful meal at Guiso. We love everything we have tried. Our favorites go-to items are the seasonal, local-sourced salad and the Paella Caribeña. Carlos, the owner and chef, is top-notch. Each dish is carefully thought out and pays homage to his Latin roots with an upscale fine dining twist. It's a family business. This place is a real gem!

We were recommended by Roadhouse Winery to check this place out. We loved it! Great people. Great food. Great wine! We even had to order additional food when we saw other plates passing our table. Glad we did. We’ll make this a stop when we are in town!

My husband and I love this place! Lucky for us, we can walk there! The food is absolutely delicious made by the family that owns and runs Guiso. It’s definitely worth making a reservation and enjoying a meal here. But remember to make a reservation because the restaurant is small and fills up very quickly.

Upon being seated we noticed a single red rose on our table. REALLY nice touch loved it !!!

Chef Carlos continues to thrill us which I feel is an example of a true culinary genius.
We have been to Guiso multiple times, almost weekly and love the food - quality and flavors.
The staff is amazing.

Carlos continues to provide world-class cuisine, even when serving to the tables out on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. We got to try try the full-size Cubano, which was fabulous! Paired with the plantains- perfection. They were perfectly done (not deep-fried) which maximized the texture and flavor. Last week we had the steak and the wings to go - both superb, and I generally am not wild about wings. Carlos never disappoints!

Had an amazing birthday dinner outside next to a very warm heater!

First night of reopening for outdoor dining. Food was AMAZING as always. We ordered most of the appetizers and the paella entree to share family style. The food here evidences the skill and artistry of a talented chef who can create culinary wonders from the simplest of dishes and knows how to use garnishes and sides to make the featured item on the plate shine extra bright. If you don’t believe me, order the simple dinner rolls served with blended herb butter and lemon olive oil dipping sauce. They are so good that it makes you wonder how a chef can turn something so mundane into such a memorable treat. The service was friendly and attentive in every way. We felt the joy the staff felt at reopening and overheard the chef say he forgot how much more rewarding it was to have diners back in the restaurant. He came out to talk to us just prior to dessert (which was subtle, beautiful and amazing by the way) and spent quite a bit of time chatting with my seven year old son who thrives on meeting new people. There was such authentic kindness and generosity of spirit in the exchange that I know we will all remember the night for years to come. Guiso was one of my favorite Sonoma County restaurants before we came (we made it our first dining experience after the long COVID shutdown) but everyone in my party left thinking it might well be our top dining experience in the County when we left. Thank you everyone for a memorable evening and welcome back!

They called to let us know our table might not be ready at our reservation time and to recommend that I bring a blanket as it was a rainy evening and might be cold. I thought that was very thoughtful. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic! Although I did bring a blanket, we were very comfortable with the heat lamps.

This place is awesome! Every time I go to Healdsburg, I have to eat at Guiso. All the dishes are amazing, but my personal favorite is the paella. The chef is outstanding, and the service is excellent. This is currently my absolute favorite restaurant.

Chef Carlos has an outstanding palate! His recipe for empanadas is something you might see in a Michelin star restaurant, not only perfect flavors but exquisite presentation.
His staff also know exactly how to explain the food, this is what led me to try the empanadas and I’m so very glad i did.
The experience at Guiso is like finding those hidden gem restaurants that are on the cusp of being found out, given a Michelin star and then you can’t get in because they truly have earned their recognition.
Chef, you amaze me.

If you are Healdsburg you MUST have dinner at Guiso Latin Fusion. May it be as memorable as all of our have been over the years.

I would absolutely recommend Guiso! Friendly service and outstanding food. Their outdoor space was outfitted with tower heaters, so we were able to eat our dinner very comfortably. We enjoyed the fish tacos, camarones borrachos with the pan latino, and the paella. Every dish was wonderful, but the tacos were my favorite! The staff was absolutely lovely, and Guiso truly feels like a small, family business in the best way.

The food was perfection. Highly recommend the paella (it was a unique take on the dish -- a bit more saucy -- but was incredible). Service was outstanding, prompt, and friendly. Outdoor seating was surprisingly warm given that the ambient temperature the evening we were there was probably about 45.

Love Guiso. The food is fresh, homemade and AMAZING!

Maybe better dining outside than in. Carlos has done a great job of adapting to these Covid times. The food and service were what you would expect from one of the best 100 restaurants in America. Yes, Guiso won that award before the owner/chef’s 30th birthday. Amazing.

Wanting to have an early dinner with a friend before being with family at Thanksgiving, I wanted to have a special meal. My favorite way is to have mostly appetizers as app salad and entree and Carlos delivers. The food is truly spectacular and unique without being heavy. Just the best food delivers flavors of Caribbean spices along with unique flavors from papusas to extra large and juicy prawns in a rich red sauce like you’ve never had before. And the chocolate dessert somewhere between a pot aux crema and a mousse. With a carmelized sugar to crack on top. A must eat place.

The staff was very welcoming and gave us the story of many popular dishes. The paella and steak were both absolutely amazing.

The service was totally perfect, even with covid restrictions. Perfect meal for an amazing weekend.
