Guiso Latin Fusion
Spectacular experience, love the small atmosphere and open kitchen. Carlos does it all right in front of you. My special go to place in Sonoma County.
Fantastic all the way around! We celebrated my birthday there and I can’t wait to return. The food , ambiance , service were spectacular! Don’t miss Guiso!!!
Great food and great service! Very small so make sure you have a reservation. Lots of fish/seafood options, but plenty of options for non-fish eaters like me.
Amazing food with old family recipes. Family owned and operated, this a wonderful restaurant with only 6 tables and food worthy of MICHELIN stars. Not to be missed if you are in Healdsburg and worth the trip if you are in Napa.
The Ribeye was EXCELLENT. Perfectly cooked and the flavors were unbelievable. Can't go wrong with any dish you order here!
Absolutely outstanding in every way, we got a table for our 10 year anniversary and they took the time, saw my note on Opentable, and greeted us with a glass of champagne. So classy. The flavors in every dish are exceptional, and it is a family based operation they take huge pride in. Get a reservation now!
Food was great! Amazing atmosphere and very pleasant waitresses. We will come back for sure!
Great food. Service very attentive in a cozy atmosphere. Will return!
One of the best dining experiences ever. The food and the service was fantastic! Highly recommend!
Fantastic food, service and people.
Will return with friends very soon.
Best meal eaten out, this year
Food was exquisite...... paella was fantastic...... family owned business and all work there ....you can see into kitchen and watch the chef prepare your dish .... loved it and can’t wait to go back
My wife and I love this place. We don't get there often enough. The menu is small but we never have trouble finding yet another delicious item!
We enjoyed the variety of unique dishes and tastes. The service was informative, cheerful, and timely. A wonderful dining experience.
Wonderful small family restaurant. The staff was welcoming, friendly and efficient. Food was not only delicious but had unique flavors. I would go again anytime.
This is our 2nd time here with our previous visit being in 2017. It was the one restaurant we targeted for our 2019 Healdsburg trip based on our experience from 2 years ago. It was just as good the 2nd time. It's a small restaurant with only a handful of tables. The food is terrific. I believe the owners/chef are from El Savador and they mix in flavors of their culture into the food making it so good. The service was awesome as we had a very sweet young lady who talked to us about the dishes and how they were prepared. In the end we split a chicken wing starter and a paella and that was enough for the two of us. When we come back to Healdsburg we will definitely come back to Guiso!!
Even in a town with as many dining options as Healdsburg, Guiso truly stands out. The food is fantastic, with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. The service is also great: this is a family operation, and the servers and the chef go out of their way to explain each dish and make you feel welcome. Highly recommended.
I don't know how Carols gets better than perfect and mind-blowing every time, but he does! The whole family's passion comes through in every detail and though we have the old favorites, they always have new, fresh, seasonal changes. The paella...I'm spoiled forever. DO NOT miss it. Amazing, as always!
Food was very good, but I’d say this place is a bit over hyped. We had the pupusa, pork sliders, fish tacos for small plates, and we shared the paella for entree. Flavors are intense and robust which was great. Service and attention was good. I enjoyed the small cozy atmosphere and the family-oriented business. However, each dish left us thinking good to great but not excellent. Definitely worth a visit but I wouldn’t necessarily come back again.
Amazing!!! A must go when in Healdsburg. Authentic, unique, amazing hospitality and truly exceptional food!
Only wish would be to add some authentic Latin cocktails. Only wine and beer on the menu.
Sat at the counter- was amazing
An amazing gem of a restaurant!
Fantastic as always!! Never disappoints!
The sliders and corn appetizers were outstanding and my paella was fantastic. The broth had such great taste. Will return.
Great chef and wait staff. Intimate place with excellent food and not snobby. Definitely a place to return to.
Birthday dinner but we often dine here!
Guiso is a quaint, hometown latin family bistro. Everything about this place screams love. Love of food, love of community, love of family, love of heritage! Get a table early because there aren't many of them - and you'll definitely want one. Try their paella for a savory, delectable twist that's light on rice and heavy on flavor. You'll love Guiso!
Delicious! The best paella 🥘 and rolls that we have tasted.
Great food. Super service.
Loved the quaint atmosphere. Dinner was fabulous!
Guiso was recommended to us by a friend when we told them we would be visiting Healdsburg. Upon arrival, we were surprised by the intimacy of the restaurant, which has only about half a dozen tables, perhaps accommodating 25 people. This ended up adding to the experience with lots of personal attention from this family operation. We had elites, shrimps in Guiso sauce, halibut and steak. All to share among 4 people. All delicious. And a very fine dessert as well. Great service, great food and an evening we will long remember shared with friends.
Out of town visitors
Excellent food and service.
One of the most interesting and intimate restaurants in Healdsburg.
Reservations a must do. Very few tables.
Food and service was quite good. A little pricey but not too far out of line. I’d go back.
The shrimp small plate was excellent. Also, had the fish tacos small play and thoroughly enjoyed it.
The only negative was the atmosphere. The ceiling fan was right overhead and a bit too breezy for me.
Delicious food, awesome service, comfy ambiance.
It was amazing... very small place, 7 tables I believe. Service was excellent, the food was so good. The young chef took his grandmother’s recipes and twisted them slightly to create a great dining experience. Plates came out one afternoon the other, giving you time to experience each one. The wait staff, his sister was so wonderful and attentive to not just us but all the tables. The beauty of having only 7 tables. I highly recommend. Have the pupusas to start with and make sure you end with any of the deserts.....
Our visits to Guiso are always special because of the wonderful young folks that operate the restaurant. Easily the best restaurant in Healdsburg, or any other in the environs.
Fantastic chef owned restaurant! Tiny, so book early. Great food, wonderful chef and staff
The Asado was delicious with potatoes and the fennel salad. It is a bit on the expensive side - and more expensive than listed on line $64 + 8 for the potatoes. It was cooked perfectly and was fantastic with the salad. If you are sensitive to salt, ask them to go light on the seasoning.
We loved everything about this restaurant -- the story behind the family owned business, the grandmother and mom's influence in the menu, the brother's (owner/chef) commitment to follow the family recipes, the sister who was the server was so passionate about the menu and so proud of her heritage. The food was OUTSTANDING! and they also were able to change some items on the menu to make them vegan for me. I wish they would open a restaurant in Chicago!!!
