Guiso Latin Fusion

Went for lunch with two co-workers. Food was mediocre and pricey. Place was practically empty. Other than the service which was quite good a disappointing experience.
We’ve been here a couple of times. This place is a real gem. Wait staff definitely knows her wines
Great food but not a place to go for a casual dinner.. pricey but good for special dinner
Exceptional. Everything was so good and Valerie is charming.
Everything we tasted was creatively outstanding. Unique way of serving salad on a slate. Salads big enough for 2 people. Friendly, knowledgeable servers who love to discuss the history of their restaurant as the owner, Chef Carlos, is related to the servers--it's a family affair. Chef visits each table which makes his guests feel special. Without a doubt the paella was the best I've ever tasted--not dry rice but a broth with rice and plenty of mussels, clams, and shrimp. If you're anywhere near Healdsburg, get thee to Guiso Latin Fusion. Outstanding dining experience.
So amazing we spent three of our four nights in Healdsburg at Guiso, no joke!
Incredible flavors. The Guiso sauce is aromatic and dense in flavor. We also loved the brussels with chorizo! We did the tasting menu at Valette the evening before (also excellent) but my husband enjoyed our meal at Guiso even more.
Excellent family owned restaurant with delicious original food,
Small tables, very crowded and noisy. Otherwise , the food and service are very good.
Outstanding from start to finish! Love the story! Love the food! Love the service! Love everything!
Wow ! So glad I found this! The place is filled with LOVE and fantastic food. It is family owned. It’s cozy with 8 tables. Food was served hot and was scrumptious.....would drive there again from Berkeley to support this family and eat the food! 💕
Awesome food!!! We will be back.
On our honeymoon!
We could feel, and taste, the love and passion that goes into the restaurant. Service was great; so helpful in guiding us through the menu. I’m a picky eater, I loved everything I had. Even tried pickles on my sliders, based on our server’s advice. She was spot on. Make a reservation if you want to eat there.
This small but perfect restaurant has delicious South American dishes that taste delicious and are varied between fish, beef, vegan and everything in between. It’s always our first go to place in HEALDSBURG
Authentic and unique El Salvador dishes prepared in small family restaurant with very attentive staff. It was delicious!
We enjoyed our dinner for four at Guiso Latin Fusion on a Sunday evening based on a recommendation from foodie friends. The menu was creative— the courses were well paced. Enjoyed the paellla and the steak very much. The staff are all Family and the service is very good. The restaurant is very small and the seating is tight, you will find yourself quite close to other parties. Our next door tables were occupied by fairly loud people. The wines featured are almost all local from Dry Creek and Healdsburg, which is really fun. We will definitely return.
Excellent food and service. You won’t be disappointed.
Very good indeed , high quality food which we really appreciated, and ambitious, but not meeting the more than outstanding reviews
Ambiance noisy, difficult to have a conversation
Service nice and correct, but speaking superfast / unable to adapt a bit to a little slower pace requested several times from us as people of foreign language
We had a fantastic meal at Guiso. Chef Carlos has a gift for combining interesting flavors and putting his passion on the plate. Service (provided by his sister) was spot on. Feels more like you're dining in their home than in a restaurant. Can't wait to go back! Everything was amazing but I could eat the Cuban sliders every single day.
The service was impeccable and the food outstanding. My husband and I were on a weekend getaway and we found this little hole in the wall that completely exceeded our expectations. It’s family owned and the it oozes with pride of ownership. We absolutely loved it and will be back to try the other fast items / the paella and papusa was to die for!
A wonderful, family-owned restaurant! Everything we had was delicious - most notable were the pupusas and the fish tacos!
Had a very nice dinner. We had the paella and it was excellent. We’ll be back!
Outstanding little resturaunt. We didn’t feel like customers, instead like guests of the family. The food was wonderful in uniqueness, presentation and flavors. I wanted to adopt our waitress and the Chef treated us like old friends. The place only has ten tables which made for an intimate well waited upon and attended too environment. One of the best ribeyes I’ve ever tasted. Take your lady here and score high points without braking the bank.
Very creative chef. Every item tried showed imagination and perfected quality. Favorite restaurant in the North Bay (San Francisco Bay) area.
I hate to give it a great rating because it is small and already hard to get a reservation. It is amazing food that is perfectly spiced. Service is great. Just wish I was more organized to get a reservation so I could go more often. Love it!!!
This place should be Michelin rated. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food and service. Food was incredible!
One of our favorites, best fish tacos this side of San Antonia, delightful owners, wish the place was bigger and quieter, but worth overlooking that for the quality of the food.
Great food, small, quiet atmosphere; a great place to dine and have a conversation. The food is literally cooked within 20 feet of you. Overall a very pleasant experience. Healdsburg is a hike from Napa, but it was worth the effort to get there. I would definitely recommend it.
Delicious! Our taste buds were tantalized to the Max! Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Each dish prepared to perfection! Enjoyed every morsel. We wish we lived closer!
Great neighborhood spot with well made, delicious, authentic food. Lovely and cozy with great service. What a bargain!
We frequent Healdsburg & for a birthday dinner wanted to try a new resto. We were so glad to have dined here!! Amazing food. Intimate setting and the service is impressive. Highly recommend this restaurant. Will definitely be back.
Absolutely fabulous dinner. The food was amazing. Have had food in Italy , France, Barcelona and this is one of the best meals we have ever had. This is a family run restaurant that you can tell loves what they do. Service was fantastic with great stories of their family and the history behind their restaurant. Hard part was deciding what to order. Sliders and Paella were fantastic. Will be back soon.
Food is amazing. The restaurant is a family affair. Our server, Valerie. is the sister of the chef. She was friendly and responsive. The restaurant has only 6!tables so book ahead! A must experience restaurant for foodies who like casual.
Our dinner was unique and delicious. Our waitperson charming and welcoming. Unfortunately there were several groups in the tiny space that were inconsiderate and extremely loud. The waitperson attempted to have them quiet down to no avail. Too bad people like this can be so into themselves that they are unaware of their surrounding and the people around them. We weren’t the only people annoyed with this behavior.
Must have Paella!!! Restaurant is small and cozy but thankfully we thoroughly enjoyed our next-door neighbor table!
Guiso is a true gem. Let's just say that you absolutely should try Guiso. Delicious and inventive food prepared with great care by chef/owner and a wonderful staff. We loved our recent dinner and will be back soon.
Every course better than the next. A real gem that stands out in a town with plenty of other options.
