Had 2 drinks, 2 steaks, and 1 dessert. Everything was perfect. Just dont know if it was $140 perfect. Good to be saved for a special occasion

Our Entree’s did not come out in a timely manner... we heard a platter full of food crash onto floor so I’m assuming they had to redo our order.

We were given this recommendation from a friend as somewhere close to airport while doing a multi person run. The food was delicious!! I ordered the Gnocchi and had them add a 5 oz steak to the order and it was an amazing meal. I have already recommended to another out of town we friend who will be traveling there and we will be back.

Always, always great! Roasted veg were awesome and greens were garlicky perfection! Even a lovely unoaked Chardonnay on the list, a nice change of pace from Sauvignon Blanc. The back room could use a touch more decor love, but that is hardly a reason not to go! Thanks!

Great food and great decor. Was a great meal and awesome drinks. Would definitely go back again. Smokehouse/ Bbq joint with some high-end dishes that make your mouth water. The decor is great with lots to take in and a great ambiance.

Guild Tavern provided an excellent venue for a friendly business dinner. The staff and food were phenomenal, and we will definitely be going again for events both professional and personal.

A nice casual dining spot. Highlights were the spinach artichoke dip and flourless chocolate torte. The ricotta gnocchi was tasty but the portion size was very small. The Laplatt farm beef burger was good, but VERY under done (rare) and the grilled onions were raw. This may be due to the Sunday burger special ($4 off all burgers), so they were the item of the night. Lots of burgers flying off the grill, so asking how you wanted it done was probably just a pipe dream.
Overall, it was a decent casual place for a low key 'back to school' dinner.
Oh, and one more note. Their 'by the glass' chardonnay offering is unoaked. Who does that? You already have a pinot grigo, sauvignon blanc, chenin blanc and your house grenache blanc. Put some oaky butter on your menu already!

Always a wonderful time sat Guild Tavern! We came for poutine and burgers this time, they were both great the burgers were cooked perfectly. Our favorite dessert is the crème brûlée, it’s our favorite in Burlington!

Service was friendly, not rushed, efficient.
Drinks offered were creative. Martini wonderful. Food was attractively plated and delicious as well. Many choices for dessert also. Four friends sat and chatted a while after dinner and were not rushed out.

Overall it was a good experience. There was some holes in the service that is more attention to detail then the basics. For example water glasses stayed empty for quite a period and never asked if another soft drink was needed. Im sure they are not refills but all the same never asked if I would like another. They dont let alcohol stay empty but that has more attention cause it helps add to the bill. Also just received salads when the appetizer ordered arrived with it. This is not what I expect for food spacing from a restaurant of this class. I can honestly say that the flavor of the steak I could do myself or get at other restaurants for a lower cost then what we paid here. The steak was good I just wasn't blown away with it for the cost. I would go again but more for those special occasions which you do provide a great atmosphere for.

I love the Guild the first time I was the a few years ago, It was one of the best meals I had dining out it a very long time. However I feel the quality seems to have gone down. I had the NY Strip... The cook was good, but the favor wasn’t there and felt disappointed and let down... Paying over 100.00 per person I feel that value is not there- I am happy to pay for a great meal with great service... Sadly, this not what we received...I will have to think hard about returning- Sadly, we can only rave about the first we dine at the Guild We have dine there half dozen time the past few years and frankly, it has never measured up to our first experience.
