    Have been there numerous times and usually very good. Went in and was seated. Had to wait for the manager to get us a waiter. Came and took our order and said would be right back with bread. Several other people were seated after us and got bread and fast service. We just walked out before our food came,and it wasn’t until then that someone wanted to help us. We will go back one more time because the food is good. Had a bad experience.

    We had reservations, were seated immediately. Our waiter was prompt and friendly. Food was FABULOUS and appetizers , main course, and drinks were all timely. Had a wonderful experience and will be back!

    Overall do not recommend. Service as very poor. Took 15 minutes to get glass of wine that I got after I had eaten my salad. Ordered a salad as an entree and received it with the other salads ordered as a starter so I had no food to eat when the rest of the table ate their entree. Took 15 minutes to get the check. Would not go back.

    My girlfriend and I have decided to go to a new restaurant in the stl area every Friday and this was the first place we picked. This has set a very nice standard. Delicious Manicotti and chicken Alfredo pizza. Very good service.

    My family and I enjoyed our food very much. My only complaint was the dressing on my salad. It was very watery and tasteless. The gazpacho soup was delicious. Everyone else ordered pasta dishes which were praised. The server was friendly but gave minimal attention. It was noisy, making it difficult to converse. I would go again for the food at a less busy time perhaps.

    Empanadas were watery, hot on the outside but not hot inside, average flavor; paella was average with no notable salchicha or any distinct flavor yet sizeable enough to feed two people; staff was friendly and attentive.

    My paella wasn’t great had no flavor the chicken tasted old and reheated. Had to ask for salt to try and save it. Seafood was over cooked and rubbery. Our potatoes bravas tasted off and was shocked that Tabasco was just poured has the sauce.

    The chicken piccata was good but I think the mushrooms were canned. Interesting menu with a wide variety of Italian choices on the front and Spanish dishes and tapas on the back.

    Guidos always pleases! From friendly wait staff to a warm and energetic environment to the best Italian or Spanish dishes you could want - this will continue to he my favorite go to spot. As an added bonus, I found out my fitness coach is close with the owner. I am on a new health journey and the idea of an Italian restaurant terrified me until I realized that my coach has a dish on the menu, placed their for folks just like me. An incredibly delicious chicken breast with gaelic steamed broccoli. I could enjoy the evening while still staying on track! Such a great place.

    We were very disappointed in our waiter. He was not pleasant at all, we had to ask for our drinks to be refilled the only time he came by is to take our order, bring us our dinner and then our check. He acted like he didn’t want to be there. It was our 46 year anniversary and we wanted to go to a special restaurant and that’s why we went there. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT NEVER AGAIN

    We focused on the Tapas menu rather than the Italian. The 4 oz beef tenderloin steak was one of the best I’ve ever had. So tender (no need for that steak knife!) and flavorful; cooked perfectly to order. We had the mushrooms with it as well as the fried potatoes. Which were perfect as well! Crispy outside and tender inside. Also had the chicken croquettes and the empanadas. Those were good but not my favorite. I loved the pastry in the empanada but didn’t care for the filling personally. So many other options I’d try next time. Started with a dinner salad and a small Caesar to round out some veggies. The Caesar had good dressing and wasn’t drowning in it which I appreciate, and the croutons were yummy. I would love to try a pizza next time. The table next to us had one and the crust looked so light and crispy. We had a reservation but arrived early and were able to be seated immediately. The wait staff was attentive and friendly.

    We had a reservation but still had to wait although the wait was not long. The greeter was very unfriendly and it seemed as though it was an imposition to have us dining there. The server was ok but also not very friendly. The food was good and served in a good amount of time.

    First time to eat at this obviously popular restaurant. We tried the Spanish menu and found it just average. We tried two hot tapas and one entree (also a smaller tapas version available). None of these were standout dishes - just average really. The house salad is the kind at many local Italian restaurants - kind of soggy overdressed (house vinaigrette) greens with canned black olives, pimiento pieces, an artichoke heart, topped with Parmesan, you know the kind. Not really very good. So I couldn’t recommend it for the Spanish menu - maybe would return to try the Italian selections.

    Chose this restaurant to celebrate our Anniversary. Quiet environment to support Conversation with my husband who is hard of hearing. Everything we ordered was excellent. Highly recommend

    We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had never been here before. Food was very good. We had fried artichokes, salads, cannelloni, and manicotti, with flan for dessert. Salads were quite small, but tasted fine. Our server told us she was new. She was very sweet and was trying very hard. This is a family neighborhood restaurant, and it was full. It was very loud. We were next to a large party with several families and lots of children. So, it probably wasn't the best choice for an anniversary dinner. Our traditional place has gone out of business, so we tried something new. Food was good. We will be back.

    As usual, the food was wonderful. The service was attentive but not oppressive. Unfortunately, a group at a table next to us decided to carry on a rather loud FaceTime conversation with a friend/family member so that it was hard to have a conversation at our table. We asked to be moved and were immediately accommodated.

    We love Guidos! Delicious food, love their Sangria! We come here at least 3-4 times a month. Great place to bring out of town guests to get the full experience of “The Hill”

    I am from Spain living in the US and I was desperate craving for Spanish food and flavor which I got really disappointed about it. Ordered croquetas, they were super small with a lot of crust and barely any filling so in consequence huge lack of flavor. Tortilla de patatas was re heated in microwave or similar, not fresh at all. Salsa brava was everything except salsa brava, not commenting how far from an allioli flavor was the allioli sauce. And what I was craving more from; the meatballs… to be served pork meatballs with an odd flavor,l. So 4 tapas 4 drinks and a pizza $100+… Italian food smelled and look amazing tho.
