   I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! It is a gem in the heart of Leith. Compared to other Indian restaurants in town, Guchhi differentiates itself by have a creative, seafood based menu, with many dishes that you won't see at other Indian restaurants. It is also unusual in that you can do a 'tapas' style menu, so if you like to try a bit of everything, this is the perfect way to do it!

   A cold pre Christmas night is probably not the best to judge this restaurant on, because it was extremely quiet. That left us a little worried, but that was soon set aside. The service was very attentive and the menu very interesting. We didn't go for the standard fare, but tried a couple of the seafood specialities - lobster and scallops. They were well worth it. Really interesting take on Indian food. Far better than the usual stuff that other restaurants trot out. We will definitely return.

   Food was excellent but service could have been better, man in charge was very welcoming and attentive but rest of the service was slow. Nice ambience and space is good.verall a nice experience.
