Underwhelming for the price. It was a busy Friday night, and as a past sever I get it, but for the cost to dine at Guard and Grace, I expect a higher level of service and food. Service in the lounge ,before our reservation time, was exceptional and I wish I had caught a female server’s name because she really was great. Our drinks were delicious and we had the Guard and Grace, which is a gin-based drink, and vodka dirty martinis. In the dining room our server was extremely nice, but I think he had too many tables and it showed in the service. He was extremely helpful navigating the menu and when me and my friend were both going to order our own Caesar salad, he did direct us to only get one and split it because it was so large. I really appreciated that! We received our food and our table was not touched by management or our server for around 45 minutes. At about 30 minutes into dinner, I did ask the another staff member who was filling our waters and clearing our table, if we could please see our server and it still took another 15 minutes for our server to come over to us. It did appear that he was sat a big top of 6 to 8 people, but he walked by our table several times without any acknowledgment. Food: Broccoli was gross. Truffle Mac and cheese was ok. Crab cakes and Caesar salad were exceptional. Management tried to make it right by coming and chatting with us and did take a portion off of our bill, but I just don’t see going back. Had we been more impressed with our visit we would have stayed longer, ordered coffee and desserts, and probably had another round of drinks, but instead we left and went and got ice cream cones at McDonalds. Went for a friend‘s birthday, and it was just kind of a letdown.

Went on a Friday on an early reservation. We were a party of four celebrating a family event. It was my first time. My first impression was wow, this place is loud. Hardly the place for a quiet dinner, although things seemed to quiet a bit as the evening went on. Aside from that, the experience was great. We started with cocktails, then to shared appetizers, the beef tartar and a sushi roll. We all ordered steaks, either Wagyu or prime, and they were first-rate. We appreciated that the sides are served family style in hearty portions. I was disappointed that creamed spinach, which I love and consider a steakhouse staple, was not on the menu. Our server was excellent, informed and attentive. We ordered a pinot noir from the sommelier, who was also very helpful. This is a high-end dining experience, and you get what you pay for. I would recommend it to others.

If you are eating at a Michelin Guide restaurant you know the quality is high. Guard and Grace did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we were greeted and attended to by friendly courteous staff. The food was excellent and the unique flavors of each dish complemented each other well. The food was cooked perfectly and the wine was on point! One of the best restaurant experiences we have had! It was my wife’s birthday and they even brought her a birthday card signed by the staff!
