Always love coming here for the latin flavors and drinks. The food is consistently prepared and flavorful. The staff is friendly, quick and attentive. Great drinks. Music is at a high level and the place can be very noisy, difficult to have a conversation.

The food was great and the entertainment was out of this world. You don’t need to know Spanish to enjoy yourself just enjoy great music.

Solidly good food . I thought the double serving of black beans was a little puny. After all… black beans are pretty inexpensive. But all in all food was tasty.

Outstanding Food And Service. Ate with a relatively large party of 12. We ordered many dishes and they were all great. It’s not easy to deliver consistency at this level. Service friendly and helpful. Family run business and atmosphere. In addition, reasonably priced. Would highly recommend to anyone!

The live band was great but a bit loud for our group of 8 to talk at all at dinner. They took a short break.. and we caught up. Food was amazing .. his was my second time there after a show.. would recommend!!

This used to be my go to spot pre Covid. The drinks and food were exceptional and the ambiance was lot's of fun. My staples were flavored Margaritas and Mojitos and Ham Croquetas as appetizers. Went yesterday after almost 3 years and was thoroughly disappointed. Maybe because it was happy hour day where all drinks were a fraction of the cost, but they didn't taste goodI went through 3 different drinks before giving up and sticking to beer and teh ham croquetas were completely different in shape and taste. I had the bistec encebollado, is usually a thin cut steak that has been tenderized by a meat mallet. What I got was a very thick cut of meat. when I asked, I was told that I needed to have ordered the churrasco. Any good Cuban worth their salt knows the difference between the two meats. Sergio the owner showed up as he does most nights and it was nice to see that, that has not changed. I may give it a try on a non happy hour day but I think I may need to start looking for the next best Cuban restaurant.

PHENOMENONAL experience!!! Wonderful food and perfect atmosphere! We make sure to grab a meal, enjoy a pitcher of Sangría, and take in the live music every time we are in NYC!

We had such a wonderful evening at Guantanamera! The dishes we ordered were delicious and generous. The coconut chicken was our favorite -- SO good!! The music and dancing was of course fun and memorable. But the surprise delight was how friendly the staff was to our group -- like we were part of their family! I highly recommend spending an evening with them. :-)

The food was amazing, the night was an experience! The live music and dancing were so fun, it was like being on vacation on a Friday night! Our conga line went out onto the sidewalk. It was good for our souls.

One of the most authentic restaurants in all of New York. I’ve lived in New York for over 30 years and I’ve never come across a place that has so much authenticity and it’s food people music, and the overall atmosphere highly recommend it to anyone looking to have a unique live music experience with some of the best Cuban food.
