Guadalajara Fiesta Grill Ratings and Reviews
Juan Carlos our server was friendly and knowledgeable. Tried the Taquitos con Papas and it’s delicious! The chicken chimichanga was excellent as well. The table side salsa is made to your liking and that is nice for those who are more finicky or not tolerant of spicy salsa.
I was looking for a 3-generation restaurant that would be comfortable and fun for ages 2 to 67. This was perfect for that. The food was good, the tableside guacamole was great - as noted by others, and the outside table was a perfect 3-sides "booth" for 5 adults and 2 munchkins. The service was excellent, and the value was good.
The customer service was great. The wait for the food was a bit excessive. The food was not too good. The food was definitely not worth the price paid. The good thing though was they give plenty of food for you to get really full. Overal it was a decent place, but not worth visiting too often.
The food was good but not as good as the last time we were there. The food came out fast and but we felt rushed by our server. The biggest complant was it was way to hot in building. We could not really enjoy our stay and did not feel like eating all of our food because of it.
Great Mexican food served by a friendly staff. One of our favorite things is that they prepare your salsa tableside and make sure it's suited just to your liking. Their outdoor patio is also nice in the fall and spring, but their summertime misters put out too much water and the mosquitoes were a big problem so we opted to sit inside this time. They need to warn people about the mosquitoes before they seat them outside as other folks moved back inside because of this, too. Despite the patio issues, we always enjoy it there.😊
Make sure a manager checks you in if you have an Open Table reservation... otherwise, which has happened to me every time I dine there, you get put as a no show which = no points. Do not believe the hostess that she will put your information in the system. Get a manager to do so.
My family and I went for dinner and my mom and I ordered the same thing, the Chiles rellenos with beans and rice and a tamal. When we got our food we tasted the tamal and it was cold, we then tried the chile relleno and it was warm, we told our server and he didn't hesitate to replace the food. A few minutes later we got our food, (we had asked them to replace the tamal with a chile relleno instead) they gave us the same food they had taken away, except the tamal was gone and a slightly warmer chile relleno was in its place. The food was not great. The cheese on the beans did not even melt . We were very dissapointed by the food.
Met our friends here for dinner one Friday night. Arrived a little early so got in on Happy Hour. Great timing, $4 margaritas were fabulous, as was our appetizer. Fish tacos were delicious. All dinners were large portions so boxes home for lunch the next day.
Monday night was half off frozen margaritas, a great deal. Be sure to check your bill so that you are credited appropriately. Food was tasty, lovely service. A great local place to dine. Being able to make reservations on Open Table is wonderful as this was not always the case.
The food was great, though it took 90 minutes from the time we placed the order. The manager was our waiter and he served the 10 of us 4 dishes of desert to smooth the waters, knowing we were put out and disappointed. We are hesitant to bring our group of 10 there again.
Great food, great service, and a wonderful trio wandering through the restaurant singing Mexican songs. Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Tucson. We had reservations, but still had to wait (though not as long as the walk-ins!) a bit because it was *very* busy. Yet, the staff was really considerate and made a point of thanking us for coming and for waiting! We'll be back.
The tableside salsa and chips were great. The mariachi music was outstanding and our appetizer was excellent but the mains were not very good. I had shrimp taco and the shrimp wasn't tasty, the rice and beans were way to salty and the corn tortilla was dry and tasteless.
