Guadalajara Fiesta Grill
It was good. food was good. service not so great. Margs are 10/10.
The food was excellent and the service was spectacular! Definitely would return again. The table side salsa is amazing! The taco salad was huge and delicious!
tasty and good service!
I was somewhat concerned that one of the front desk hostess had her mask under her chin, leaving her face exposed. Clearly a violation of the State Covid guidelines. There is a very large extensive plastic menu rather than disposable paper menus. Definitely not cleaned after each use. Waiter very friendly and helpful.
Food was expensive and tasteless. The meat on our asada plate had no seasoning. The beans and rice had a peculiar after-taste. We did not finish our food or choose to take it with us. The best part of this dining experience was the nice lady making the salsa in front of us. Will not be back.
Great outdoor dining! Tableside made Guacamole and Salsa for the win! Mole was delicious!
Excellent service. Fun and exciting Food was good
My friend and I had three delightful meals here so brought our husbands for a very special occasion. My meal was ok but not up to previous meals. The other three diners’ meals were very disappointing. We won’t be back.
After confirming my reservation on Open Table and planning an evening there with others, we arrived to find it closed! No sign; no explanation.
Been there many times. Their margaritas are my benchmark. Table-side salsa always XLNT.
The restaurant was closed on Monday. Not sure how I made a reservation that got accepted. Went there and they were closed? Probably won’t use open table again.
Simply great as always -- from Monica to Janet to Jorge, the staff provides top-notch service and the food (especially the guac and salsa...and margaritas) is excellent.
It was closed.
This is our "go to" place, especially these days where we just need to get out and feel wanted. The folks the "The Guad" on Kolb always make us feel like family. Monica is the server extraordinaire while Janet is the best Salsera there and of course the GM, Jorge, always ensures we get the best treatment from start to finish. Needless to say, the food is always delicious (especially Janet's guac and salsa) and the margaritas are the best in town. Another excellent evening!
It is always a pleasure to eat here. Food and drink were delicious as was the service. We enjoy frequenting the restaurant.
The ambience that night was excellent - quiet, calm, perfect temperature outside in the patio. Good food, great service. Very few patrons outside made spacing easy.
I love Guadalajara and was happy to see they have finally reopened due to the health crisis that everyone is freaking out about. The restaurant was great as well as our server, Monica. The menu was limited compare to normal but we were still able to find something wonderful to eat.
This is our 'go to' Tucson restaurant -- the one we head to just to relax, have a great meal, and enjoy the superb service. Monica is a stellar server (she brings us our drinks as soon as she sees us some into the place) while both Abigail and Maria are outstanding 'salseras' who make the most delicious salsas and guacamole in Tucson. This is simply a fun place and if the temps are right, the best patio dining around as well.
Well the host knew nothing about open table. Left us at the host stand for a while didnt know what was going on. We were seated outside which it was a lovely evening. Our table was broken and we didnt recieve service for 20 mins. Best part was the homemade salsa, food was okay and overall it was okay.
Service extremely slow - server did not greet us for 15 minutes after being seated
Excellent table side salsa
Food was good. I was a bit annoyed because we made a reservation to go along with our movie as we were celebrating my daughter's birthday when we arrived they had our reservations but did not reserve is a table so we were stuck outside in the cold. The service outside was slow we had to ask to get water refills and for out food. Since it took so long we had to rush eating and just leave and we didnt get to really enjoy the meal.
Took 1 hour and 20 minutes to get our food. Appetizers came with mains. No explanations given. I will not return. It was extremely embarrassing as I had guess from out of town as well.
Our only complaint was the very long time it took for our meals to arrive. (And it wasn't that busy.) But the food was excellent and everyone loved the guacamole and salsa prepared table side.
The food was excellent and our server, Monica, was very attentive to our needs without being overbearing. We were there with guests from Connecticut and Rhode Island and they were delighted with the table side salsa and guacamole preparation.
There were three of us who had fajitas and something was seriously wrong with the peppers and onions. Like a salt shaker had been dumped on it. Completely uneatable. The waiter tasted it and totally agreed. There was no manager on duty and he wanted to comp those meals. We were a party of six. They had to get the owners permission so they called him. The owner said no but was willing to give us a $20 gift certificate to use there again. We declined the gift certificate as it was peanuts compared to what we spent on drinks, appetizers and the meals. Mostly it just showed poor judgement and a lack of common sense on his part. Not a saavy businessman. We won’t be back. The food is just mediocre anyway but our waiter was awesome and so was the table side guacamole and salsa.
The food was very good and southwest authentic. A lady pushed a cart up to our table and made our salsa for us. The salsa was very good, but prominently displayed on her cart was a sign saying tips were accepted which was kind of a turn-off. Normally, salsa is just part of the meal and doesn't require extra tipping or fees. Her tip should have come from what was given to the waiter. Other than that, the experience was very good.
Best thing is the salsa made right at the table, degree of spiciness up to you to decide.
Very generous margaritas.
Even though it was pretty busy, our server was warm, friendly and quick to greet us. The table side salsa is always terrific and this time was no exception. Highly recommend!
Monica is a great server!!
Great table side salad.
Food was great and we were seated right away. Big portions. Good value.
We sat outside. Salsa made at the table to your specs. Tasty Food! SUPER SIZED margaritas! Not kidding, these things are HUGE.
Great fresh made salsa at the table. Definitely the highlight. The margherita wasn't good; too sweet, couldn't drink it. Food was pretty good and the size of plate made the prices reasonable.
Great food! Service could have been faster, but that’s being pretty picky. Very nice restaurant!
our dinner experience was terrific. Food was outstanding, salsa was the best and the service could not have been better.
Wonderful evening as always. From the hostess, Julieta, to the salsera, Abigail, to our server, Monica, everyone took great care of us. The food was so delicious and spiced just right. And Makea makes the best margarita's in Tucson. Simply a great experience!
What a great night. Good food and good friends. I will definitely be going back.
One of my go to places whenever i am in Tucson and want some Authentic Mexican food. Love this place.
Always excellent -- Monica, Abigail, and Julieta were awesome while the food and margaritas were sooooo delicious!
