Guadalajara Fiesta Grill
We sat outside. Salsa made at the table to your specs. Tasty Food! SUPER SIZED margaritas! Not kidding, these things are HUGE.
Great fresh made salsa at the table. Definitely the highlight. The margherita wasn't good; too sweet, couldn't drink it. Food was pretty good and the size of plate made the prices reasonable.
Great food! Service could have been faster, but that’s being pretty picky. Very nice restaurant!
our dinner experience was terrific. Food was outstanding, salsa was the best and the service could not have been better.
Wonderful evening as always. From the hostess, Julieta, to the salsera, Abigail, to our server, Monica, everyone took great care of us. The food was so delicious and spiced just right. And Makea makes the best margarita's in Tucson. Simply a great experience!
What a great night. Good food and good friends. I will definitely be going back.
One of my go to places whenever i am in Tucson and want some Authentic Mexican food. Love this place.
Always excellent -- Monica, Abigail, and Julieta were awesome while the food and margaritas were sooooo delicious!
The "Guad" is simply our favorite Mexican restaurant. Yet again the food was delicious (we even tried a few new dishes), the margaritas are absolutely the best in town, and the service from Brenda (Salsera) and Alma (Server) ably assisted by Monica and Julieta, was so personable -- they are all friends now! We sat out on the patio and although it was a 'bit' warm, it was quiet and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening yet again!
Good as always
Wonderful as always. Food was scrumptious and service, from Monica (server) to Brenda (Salsera) to Julieta (Hostess) was flawless. And the patio seating was perfect!
The service was very good with chip and drink refills. The table side salsa was outstanding and she made two different bowls for mild and hot. The food came quickly and all three dinners were very good and plentiful. Continue to really like this restaurant and it's consistent quality.
We took family visiting from Germany in order to get an authentic experience and they were thoroughly impressed.
Very polite and happy staff. Great service and excellent food. Would recomend to those who enjoy steady paced and a not to hustle and bustle type place .
We went to enjoy the happy hour special. They didn’t have a bartender and if we wanted to order off happy hour menu, we had to sit at the bar. There were 6 of us so we didn’t really get to talk to everyone. Other than that, food was great. We will keep coming back.
We were seated fairly adequately. Took forever to get water and it took way too long to even come get our order. Refilling our water was not done until I asked. The service just was not up to par today.
Excellent chips and salsa! First time at this restaurant-really enjoyed the table side salsa preparation and fresh warm chips! Margaritas were large and they didn't skimp on the tequila. Great!
We ordered carnitas and carne asada. Generous portions. Very pleased with our meal.
Chili Verde and Chili Colorado are really good. Fresh tableside salsa is also delicious. Prices are a bit high but we keep going back for the quality food and great service.
Menu is different and I had a hard time choosing an entrée. The salsa is made fresh at the table and the preparer expects to be tipped. Extra chips are extra cost. The service was spotty, sometimes rude, sometimes friendly. The staff seemed tired. I treated a friend for her birthday and she also said that it was not that great all-around.
We love the margaritas, the salsa made at the table and the guacamole also made at the table
We had a great meal and wonderful service from a delightful server, named Nicolette.
We sat out on the patio and it was perfect. Weather was very comfortable and, as usual, the food (including the fresh salsa and guacamole) and margaritas were superb. Monica took great care of us and Julie and Ernesto checked often to make sure we were enjoying our evening.
Salsa made at table side is the best. Great Mexican food. Our server, Monica, was fantastic!
I was visiting from CT and had a chance to eat at numerous restaurants in the 9 days that I was there. Guadalajara Fiesta Grill is the one I returned to after my first meal there. The staff is top rate, accommodating requests with a smile, the food is top rate and the atmosphere a delight of color and imagination. Sitting outside on the patio in the evening, I especially appreciated the heaters available for each table! The next time I'm in Tuscon, I'll be back.
We love 'the Guad' -- for the great food, relaxing ambiance, and superb service. In fact, Alma took great care of us on the delightful outdoor patio and Abigail made awesome salsa and fresh guacamole. The GM, Francisco, even came over to say hi and wish our son a 'happy birthday!' This place is our family favorite!
Busy for a Wednesday, long wait for food and not all delivered to table together. Charged for foods not given. Taste was marginal.
The resturant was very conducive to large parties. Our reservation was initially messed up but they straightened it out quickly. The table side salsa was good but only 1 bowl for 4 people isn't ideal if you like hot and the 3 people next to you like mild. $6.95 for an additional is expensive. The meal was good overall but the beans were bland. Service was good and timely for serving 14 people. Overall a good experience.
Great atmosphere, Service was great, excellent food, they make fresh salsa at your table! Friendly staff! Next time in Tucson, I'll be back!
We hadn't been to the "Guad" for awhile due to other commitments so it was wonderful to return and enjoy a great evening. The food was delectable, the service impeccable, and without a doubt the margaritas are the best in Tucson. Francisco (General Manager) and Alma (Supervisor) ensured our experience was flawless. We'll be back again soon!
Food is consistently well prepared. Service is somewhat slow, but acceptable. Margarita's are excellent. Salsa made to your specification at table as is the great guacamole.
This was a very good first time experience in this restaurant and all of us enjoyed the food and the service. My best friend in college was very impressive with this dining experience. She really enjoyed it a lot.
Very pleasant experience. I would not hesitate to recommend this gem of a restaurant. Best Mexican food I have ever had - in either the US or Mexico!
Food was average, served salsa and guacamole for 5 people with one small bowl of chips and no side plates, had find a server and ask
We had an enjoyable dinner. Food was excellent. Service was good, we did wait awhile for our homemade salsa to be made at or table. Would definitely return.
Enjoyed the restaurant and all the decorations and the outfits of all the employees. Very clean and enjoyed the salsa being made at the table.
The service was terrible. Our waitress walked off before taking everyone's drink order. Then the drinks we did order took forever. The steak fajitas were dry and tasteless. The guacamole, made at our table, was bland. After reserving a table for 9 ahead of time, we were stuck uncomfortably in the back corner with 2 tables of different heights pushed together.
Rainy night but restaurant was full, and we were seated right away in a booth that we had requested. Good menu and drinks and the salsa lady whipped together some great tasting salsa. Waitress was good and no service complaints al all and food was very good especially the Chicken tortilla soup!
Will go back.
Very disappointing meal for me. I ordered a Carne Asada chimi and it was almost totally beans. The amount of carne asada was miniscule as was the size of the pieces...diced quite small, not even the size of my pinkie fingernail. The diced onions and tomatoes that were supposed to be inside seemed to be absent. The chimi did not appear to be fried either. It was pretty limp although the ends were a tiny bit crisp. My husband's shrimp fajitas had an ample number of shrimp but the veggies were overcooked. And our entries were expensive $15.95 for my chimi and $17.95 for the shrimp fajitas. Totally not worth it for essentially a bean burrito on my side.
This is quite a large restaurant that has the feel of a sports bar. The salsa made at the table was included in the meal. The chips and salsa were good, although the salsa was a bit salty. I had fish tacos and they were OK but not great. My husband ordered a fish and it was too old when it was cooked. The waitress asked him about it because he didn't eat it and asked what else he would like. She quickly brought the beef flautas that he requested and charged us for that rather than the fish.
I have never had a bad meal at Guadalajara grill. Service is always been excellent and I look forward to going back time and time again. You have excellent food and people are very friendly, keep up the good work.
