The Grove Artisan Kitchen at the Miramonte Resort was surprisingly good! The evening that we were there is was very quiet, but service and food were outstanding. I really like the decor – open space but nicely divided with hobnail screens that provided both interest and privacy.

a tryout. liked the facility, decor, table distances, quiet. hopeful when the bread and bruschetta were tasty. food poor: the tuna tartare was more avocado than tuna, covered with excess mayo.spring rolls were extra-heavy wrappings and almost no filling(tasteless). the crab cake was salty, very, and not a lump present. the "paella" was Ok even if misnamed, more of a shellfish stew on a very thick bed of risotto
that did have the seafood flavor. I would never go back.

Our table was quiet and perfect overlooking the garden patio. We like that it is not a huge restaurant. The chef did an outstanding job of working with us to make several of their menu items special to accommodate my husband's food allergies. The wait staff was a bit befuddled until we were able to talk directly with the chef. Their service thereafter was excellent. We could not have had this Valentine's day Lunch without the chef's willingness to adapt the ingredients. The food was Very good and generous.

This is one of our favorite local restaurants. We enjoy the food, the ambience, and relaxing atmosphere. It's easy to carry on a conversation, even when the dining room is filled.

There were five in our party, but our waiter only took four orders. Lots of hoo hoo calls and waving of arms finally got his attention. One diner thoroughly enjoyed the spinach salad; two burgers at $15.00 each were okay but one from In and Out or Five Guys
would have been just as good for a lower price. Best was Morrocan spice beef, added to an otherwise boring salad. It was a salad whose reality did not match the overblown menu discription.

The tuna tartare was disappointing but the paella was fantastic. The wine list was good and very reasonably priced. I'd gladly go back again.

Grove Artisan at the Miramonte Resort is a very fine dining spot. The menu is varied and the prix fixe menu options offer great value. The service is fine, but occaisionally uneven. They have a nice wine list that is reasonably priced. Highlight dishes include the Truffle Risotto, the Paella, and the Lamb. They also have a really nice Sunday brunch with some excellent Eggs Benedict (made with Prosciutto). We certainly recommend giving it a try.

Our office tradition is taking the volunteers and staff to the Mira Monte Grove Artisan Kitchen. This year was no different. The volunteers and staff LOVE the environment, the food and the fabulous service. Thank you from Parkinson's Resource Organization

Great food, good service, good ambiance. We liked the pre-set dinner option on the menu. They provide 2 price range options, with plenty of variety in all categories (appetizer, entree and dessert). Of the 3 entrees, my least favorite was the paella, which was a cream base, as opposed to a tomato base, which is what I prefer. Although, for someone whose never had paella, and likes cream, it would be delicios. Sea bass entrees were excellent. Perfectly cooked and flavorfully seasoned. The complimentary olive bread is delish also. It was a Wednesday evening, so the restaurant was pretty quiet.

Pasta supposedly made on site was not special (capellini). Organic yellow tomato gazpacho was tasty, but it tasted almost like a creamy salad dressing. Gin & tonic cocktail with a lime wedge was small and just about virgin. These are difficult times for hotels, but this hotel restaurant had been recommended as among the best in Coachella Valley. Hmmm....

My reservation was for 6:30pm. I was seated promptly by the friendliest hostess, my waitress was just as nice! I had the best chicken I've ever eaten, the night before. So this night I decided to try the salmon. It was very good, however, the chicken is excellent. Oh, don't leave without having the molten lava cake for dessert. It was gorgeous watching the sun set against the mountains, as well.

The dinner was good, but the food came to the table warm, not hot. The person bringing the food got my friend's and my steaks mixed up. (He wanted medium-rare, I wanted medium) The food tasted good, but it could have been a bit warmer and correctly served. The prix-fixe is a great deal. The employees were attentive and the dining room is very nice. I am an Indian Wells resident and will most likely return. Just, bring the food to the table when it is hot, not warm. Thanks.

Some confusion at "check-in". I don't think the hostess was familiar with the Open Table system. Once seated the serveice and food were excellent and our table offered a wonderful view of the grounds, pool and mountains.

Perfect portions and just the right spice for a bit of a kick.Excellent wine by the glass and great service from Horje. We are returning with other friends to introduce them to this delightful dining spot in Indian Wells

Entrees were excellent- pork tenderloin and paella. Starters were disappointing- Caprese salad was ice cold so tomatoes had no flavor, lobster bisque had an off taste. Service was great.

Made a reservation to dine at The Grove on a Saturday night for the last night of our vacation. Had done some research online via Yelp, and wasn't sure what to expect based on the reviews. Was blown away! The resturant itself was wonderful, a little too quiet (maybe needs a little music?), but other then that, our dinner experience could not of been better. My wife had the Seabass, while I opted for the Paella. I also opted for the pre fix menu which I highly recommend. I started with the Tuna Tartar, when the Paella, and finally the Apple/Date Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream. All for $36! I believe my wife's seafood dish was $21. Given the "farm-to-table" quality fresh food we experienced, underpriced in my opinion! We'll be back!

We dined during restaurant week and had a bad experience. The kitchen could not keep up with the number of diners. It took us over 2 hours to eat and not because we were having a good time. We were seated and our drink orders taken and served. A half hour later we had to ask the hostess to find our waiter so we could order. Our salads took 20 min to arrive, our entrees a half hour after that. They restaurant was not prepared for the crowd even though there were empty tables. At one point they had a bell captain busing tables. It was too bad we went on Palm Springs Restaurant week. It may be a fine restaurant but we will not be back.

Filet is excellent. Desert is gorgeous. Paella was too much cheese. You do not need to put cheese on that. Otherwise, good quality food.
