The best meal I've had in years! Started with the brussel sprouts, then ordered the short ribs and gnocchi. Outstanding!! We got creme brûlée and bread pudding for dessert. The service was great and so was the ambiance. Definitely worth the price!
Amazing food!! The duck was superb as were the elk and the gnocchi. For an appetizer go with the pork belly!
A nice mountain setting and feel. Food preparation is inventive with beautiful presentation. Service is friendly and prompt but not rushed. Especially liked the lamb meatballs and steelhead trout. Homemade ice cream was creamy and flavorful.
Our favorite in Beaver Creek
Excellent food, main course delayed more than 30 mins, however manager sent a soup to apologize. All the rest outstanding!
We had an average dining experience. Can’t be compared with Splendido it was not close except when the bill arrived.
It was our anniversary and my wife and I had our best meal of our vacation at Beaver Creek. I had the duck which was the best I've ever had, and my wife's elk was perfect. This is a place that is amazing.
Delicious food, formal mountain setting, gracious staff.
Executive Chef David Gutowski continues to produce delicious and innovative cuisine. This Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York graduate has been the Executive Chef at Grouse Mountain since 2009. The food continues to get better and better. Appetizers such as Lobster Mascarpone and Lamb Meat Balls set the stage. (Don’t overlook the house-made “Tater Tots.”) Main courses include Cornmeal Crusted Rocky Mountain Trout, Braised Pork Spareribs, 14-day dry aged duck breast and the famous Pretzel-Crusted Berkshire Pork Chop. The star of the dessert menu is a takeoff of a chocolate tiramisu cake. It is decadent.
Service is spot on. Piano and vocal entertainment by Tony G tops off a lovely evening.
This has been a great restaurant for many years. I've had dinner there with people from all over the world and they are always impressed. If you are coming to Beaver Creek or the Vail Valley, you should try this place.
